Hey Wolfius,
If just noticed this thread. We have a ton of games going on in SLC if you haven't found one yet.

For starters, I am the VL of the Salt Lake Valley and would be happy to help if you need anything. You can message me here if you like or meet me at one of the events.

Rough breakdown:
Mondays - We are trying to get something running at the U of U but are currently short players. I don't make this one but I can put you in touch with the GM in charge of that, if you like.

Wednesday - Demolition Games, 3300 South and roughly Main. They game from 6-10 usually.

Thursday - Technically nothing in the valley but games in Logan and Lehi if you are interested in those.

Friday - Hastur Games, State and about 6800 South. 6-10 PM. This one has a ton of new players so they are running low end stuffs.

Saturday - Oasis, 400 South and about 300 East. Two sessions, noon to 4 is quests and evergreens. 6-10 varies a lot on the week.

I make most Fridays and Saturdays but I miss from time to time due to health, full tables, work, etc. Standard being human things.

I will also try to email you and make sure you got everything or if you have any questions.

Alright, this is what my GM and I came up with for Mister Licks. The numbers should be accurate based on the animal companion stats (and effective druid level) from the Bestiary. If anyone finds a mistake or has a question, just holler.

Grab: If a creature with this special attack hits with the indicated attack (tongue), it deals normal
damage (none) and attempts to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of
opportunity. Unless otherwise noted, grab can only be used against targets of a size equal to or
smaller than the creature with this ability. A successful hold does not deal any extra damage, but
each successful grapple check it makes during successive rounds automatically deals the
damage indicated for the attack that established the hold (none). Creatures with the grab special
attack receive a +4 bonus on combat maneuver checks made to start and maintain a grapple.

Pull: A creature with this ability can choose to make a free combat maneuver check with a
successful attack. If successful, this check pulls a creature closer. This ability only works on
creatures of a size equal to or smaller than the pulling creature.

For PFS the only variation would be with the 2 feats & tricks. This is the version I made for my table. I think toughness is must and his bite is not that good to hit so went with weapon focus.

One of my GMs pointed out that the these stats are inaccurate. Hero Lab appears to be flawed on Giant Frogs, or possibly gets them from a different source. The base stats should be Str 15 (16 due to level), Dex 13 (14 due to level), Con 16, Int 1, Wis 9, Cha 6.

This shifts its damage and hp up a bit and lowers its AC. Also, with 1 int it has fewer tricks. As soon as I get his full write up, I will post it for comparison.

Hey guys,
I wanted to clarify this before I got myself in trouble. What can we run at our local stores?

Obviously, 1-01 to 1-03 are peachy.
What about the Quest? Are there any restrictions on it?

The special 1-00 I assume is GenCon only at this point? Do we have established minimums to run that as far as SFS Novas or minimum tables?

Just trying to plan our local gaming. We have several tables starting tomorrow and a few minor conventions (not 15 tables worthy) in the next 6 weeks.

PS: Is there a note somewhere I missed? I looked but didn't see anything. Any linkage would be awesome.

All of these events have GMs, but they haven't all claimed their tables quite yet. We are using Warhorn for PFS, other Pathfinder, D&D, D&D AL, Battletech, Alpha Strike, and Shadowrun, so you will see many options at various time slots. All of the Pathfinder events are 4 hour scenarios.

Last, and very far from least:

Mark Moreland, as in Paizo Developer, lover of gaming, kind hearted soul, etc. will be in attendance. He is running one very specific, very rare PFS Scenario on Saturday evening. There will be a raffle for tickets to this limited event. The proceeds are going to charity (Children's Miracle Network / Extra-life). Come put something on your log sheet that nobody you know has ever done!


First bit of added information:

I can get any GMs a free 3-day pass if they will run 2 sessions for me. I would prefer PFS for prize support reasons, but any game is a good game.

HISTORY
Originally created by the paranoid Tybarus the Tyrrant, the Chalice of the King disappeared after his assassination. Tybarus had artisans loyal to him make an enchanted cup of gold, covered with gemstones, that would remove any poisons in his drink. He feared, correctly, that citizens of his kingdom sought to remove him from power. The goblet served its purpose well, and Tybarus indeed thwarted many attempts to poison him. Ironically, he was assassinated by a poisoned blade, from which the mighty chalice was unable to save him.

DESCRIPTION
This large cup is made of solid gold. Green gems, mostly emerald and jade, are embedded on the sides and base of the cup. This chalice constantly casts neutralize poison (as the spell) on any liquid it contains. This has the additional effect of removing alcohol from any beverage drank from the cup. The chalice cannot remove poisons already affecting the victim however, or delivered from any other source (such as injury, contact, or inhalation poisons).
