I was at a con today and am rather tired. I'll post tomorrow whenever I wake up.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

I feel like it might help if I made a map of Darkcrest and the surrounding region. Anyone have any suggestion on how I should go about that? I don't really have any artistic ability or experience making maps before so I'm not sure how to go about it.

"What you say may be true Wisp, there have certainty been some serious changes to the nature of the animals on the main isle. Though the most logical reason for the animal hostility would be that they themselves have become victims of whomever is behind these attacks, perhaps they have been driven from their natural habitats and are only retaliating because of desperation." He then shrugs, "Though thats just my view on the matter, I don't consider myself as knowledgeable on nature as the druids, perhaps asking the circle outside of Middleport for help wouldn't be a bad idea. If you think they can offer you some assistance in your task then do ask for their assistance, the more help we can get in putting this situation behind us the better. To my understanding there is also a Druid circle within the swamp near the town of Darkcrest that you may wish to visit upon reaching there, I can't give you any proper directions as to where their druid circle gathers so it will be up to you to seek them out should you wish."

Reynolds then turns to Ssraaz, "To my knowledge only ships and their crew have gone missing, there have been no missing persons reports from Darkcrest or any of the nearby towns. However the last time I got an update from them was over a week ago so who knows if the situation has changed."

"The Reef Guardian you say? I'm afraid I don't keep tabs on all the ships coming and leaving port, that is the job of the harbormaster... though I do think I recall hearing that it was due to depart this morn, meaning it is likely out of port at the moment."

@Anyone looking at the unraveled map: The map before you shows mostly just the regions where the missing ships have been reported, the locations lie largely within the channel between the Main isle(the one you are on) and the southernmost isle. The locations of missing ships seem to all be relatively close to the port towns on either isle, and as the channel is not terribly wide it is surprising that no one has seen any of the attacks on the ships in action, even if they could barely make it out from shore. Also of note the town of Darkcrest is located on a very small island between the main isle and the southernmost one.

@Reggie: This map does not show a wide enough area to chart out a course however Reynolds notices what you are doing and passes you one of the other maps. This one shows the entirety of the main and southern isle and even has a land course plotted towards Darkcrest. "This map should help you reach your destination without getting lost. I had one of my men plot the quickest and safest land route to Darkcrest, so if you follow this path you should be fine, though with everything that has been happening lately who knows what you may find on the road. Alternatively you could try to find a ship willing to take you there... though I wouldn't recommend it, as all the attacks have been at sea there is no telling what you could run into, and I would hate for you all to be another victim of these attacks before we even know what you are dealing with." It is relatively easy for Reggie to plot a water course to Darkcrest, the easiest route being to simply follow the shore until you reach the channel dividing the isles and Darkcrest lie just a ways in the channel.

Reynolds also decides to unravel the other two maps he has with him, the first is a map of trade and tourist routes from Tyfris to Sieben Inseln, on it he has made several adjustments to the routes to avoid the areas where the missing ships have been located. He puts the map on top of the last and proceeds to take out the last map, though he is rather hesitant. "Now this one, well I'm not so sure it will be of any use but... one of my advisers seems to think it has some relevance so..." He opens up the last map and puts it on the table, he takes the first map he showed you, the one that showed where the disappearing ships were located and puts it beside it. This new map is labeled, Dresmond's War Plan and has the regions where sahuagin were located during Dresmond Valorous' campaign against them. Looking at the two maps it is clear to see that the regions where the ships are disappearing seem to line up with some of the more populated areas on the other map. "It is preposterous I know but there is a clear trend between the two, and though I don't like to admit it there is a chance that it is more than coincidence, so do be wary of that."

Lastly he says, "You are free to take all of these maps with you if you feel they may benefit you in your job. If you have no more questions you should probably prepare for your journey, and figure out how you're going to get there, If possible I would like for you to depart before nightfall and the sooner the better!"

Male Human Magic User/ 28

There I got around to posting, sorry about being a day late.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

"The Rose Bow you say? Yes I heard reports of it's disappearance, though it was quite a distance from where the other disappearance have been thus we have come to believe it is unrelated. I take it you have some personal reason for inquiring? Though it is no matter of mine so I won't inquire if you do not wish me to."

@Robert: The region around Darkcrest has been free of pirate activity for as long as you can remember, there is a chance that there are some small fry pirates out there but you are unsure.

Reynolds stays quiet as the group debates with one another, though once everyone has finally agreed to help he lets out a long winded sigh. "Excellent it is good to see you are all willing to help, just know that in order for you to succeed in this task you will need to learn how to work as a team. These coins are to split amongst yourself however you choose, and rest assured that there is more were they came from upon your return."

Reynolds then grabs the second bag and he opens the bag and takes from it two bottles, each filled to the top with a cloudy blue liquid, he proceeds to place them beside the coin purse and reaches further into the bag taking out what appears to be a golden badge of a crayfish, a symbol often used to represent authority figures within the isles. "These two potions here contain a healing liquid I had the local church brew up for me specifically for this task, as you can see they are quite large so don't go drinking them in one place. As for the badge." He says as he holds out the badge for all to see, "This badge represents authority on the isles, it is given to anyone who represents an authority head. If someone is being difficult with you flash this badge and they may be more willing to cooperate, however do your best not to flash it to the whole world, we want as few people as possible to know about out current little situation and if you do something stupid while wearing this, the blame is rubbed off on me." After his explanation he puts the badge on the table beside the gold and potions.

"I'm not going to tell you how you should go about this task, however if you have any questions now would be the time to ask them. I have had some of my most trusted men looking into these matters for several weeks now and though we do not have a clear idea of what is the cause of the disappearances we do have some information and leads that may be of some use."

OOC: 250 gold to be split amongst the group, two healing potions 3d8+3(May be drunken in doses, for example you can drink 1/3 the potion for 1d8+1 heals or 2/3 for 2d8+2) and the badge of authority. There are also four maps on the table, one showing the location of the disappearances and the other three still unrevealed.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

There won't be another post from me until late tomorrow, I have to go to bed early and will be gone most to the day. Just so everyone knows.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

I have a quick questions for whoever is willing to give me an answer, but how are combat maps usually done on these forums? Is there a program I should know about that makes map making easier? And also where should I put these maps, I'm used to being able to post picture on forums but it seems you can't do that on here so I assume I'll need to upload the maps somewhere?

The six of you have all taken your seats and await the Mayor patiently, luckily he arrives only a few minutes after you get settled in. From outside the waiting room you hear several muffled grunts as well as what sound like coins hitting the ground, the voice of the secretary speaks out then "Mr. Reynolds! Allow me to help you with that." You hear some footsteps and then silence for a moment. There is an awkward atmosphere in the air as you grow somewhat uncertain what is happening beyond the waiting room door, then suddenly the door opens. In comes the man know as Burt Reynolds, the most recently elected mayor of Middleport, and by extension head authority on the isles. He has a black mustache, neatly trimmed, and slicked back greying hair. In his arms he carries several bundles of giant maps and two large pouches one clinks with the sound of metal whilst the other sounds like there is something made of glass bumping around within. Reynolds barely squeezes through the door with all his stuff and is clearly struggling to not drop something. He moves over to the one empty chair at the head of the table and promptly drops his load down upon the table, the bag of coins breaking open as he does so several gold coins now spread across the table. He clears his throat and takes a seat.

"Do forgive me for being so late, you caught me while I was in the middle of doing so paperwork you see." He says apologetically before fixing the collar on his fancy suit, "It is a pleasure to meet all of you and I must thank you for coming out to help me with our little problem. As you likely all already know we have been having several problems within the isles these past couple months and they have only grown worse with time. There has been many reports of violent animal attacks throughout the islands, particular so by the southern coastal towns. Reports have told me that sea creatures have grown more aggressive and some even directly attacking fishing ships, many lives have been lost with this increase in animal hostility, however it is not our main concern." He coughs in the middle of his explanation and promptly calls in the secretary to bring some water, she comes back with a jug and cups for everyone. Upon getting a drink Reynolds continues, "As I was saying our main concern is the loss of cargo ships in all of this, and I do not mean one or two here and there in fact several southern towns have reported not getting a single cargo ship come in for an entire month, and I am led to believe that this is too organized to be the doings of some hostile animals and creatures. There is some evil work afoot, likely bandits or pirates which have not been a true threat to our land in many years. That is were you all come in. If word gets out about this it could be quite bad, the economy of our island is based largely on our trades with Tyfris and tourism from around the world, and both are being threatened by these recent developments." He unfurls one of the maps, one showing the routes of trade and tourist ships. On the map the ships headed to the southernmost isle and the south of the main island show X's near the shoreline, "From what little we have gathered the trade ships are being intercepted in these two spots, one on the south shore of this island, near Darkcrest, and the other on the northwest coast of the southern isle. As of now no tourist ships have been attacked as they tend to head more to the east and central land, however the threat is still real and if this does happen it will likely hurt our reputation beyond repair." He stops talking for a minute to let you examine the map, pushing the other furled scrolls aside. "What I ask the six of you to do is find out who is behind these ship raids and put a stop to them. I have already arranged this here down payment should you agree to this task, 250 gold coins, and I suggest you use it to buy yourselves whatever tools you deem necessary for this job. So, are you in?" He finally asks.

Picture of the port

For 60 years the people of Sieben Inseln have lived a life free of the tyranny of evil, in fact you could say things have been going ever so swimmingly well since the great Dresmond Valorous claimed the Isles from the tyranny of the Sahuagin. Trade has been impossibly well with the discovery of so many rich natural resources on the island, and the people of the islands have lived free of conflict or danger. One could even say that Sieben Inseln has become something of a tropical paradise.

However, evil never truly dies and foreboding signs have been reported from several coastal villages. The rumors say that trade ships have mysteriously vanished and that scheduled imports from the mainland haven't arrived, some even say that the symbol of the devourer has shown it's face once more. These sudden disturbances have caught the attention of the Mayor of Middleport, who has issued out a call to adventurers all throughout the seven islands to investigate this matter, he has asked for anyone interested to meet him personally for a briefing at the city hall. Could the rumors be true? And if so what malicious purpose do the Devourer Cultists have? None can say for certain, however one thing is certainly true, something sinister is about to befall the people of Sieban Inseln...

This call to adventure has brought the six of you to the port city of Middleport, capitol of Sieben Inseln and without a doubt the most highly populated and biggest of the towns on the isles. Middleport has also become the main hub for trading with the mainland, which means that many prestigious businesses are run from the capitol and merchants and lords from the mainland come here quite frequently. You have all either traveled to Middleport for this job, or perhaps already lived there nonetheless through one means or another you now find yourself in front of the town hall.

The town hall is not as impressive as one might expect from the otherwise rather lavish and exotic town. The town hall is only one floor, though it is quite large, and appears as one might expect the town hall of a simple fishing village to look like. Nonetheless it serves it purpose and is the place you were told to meet with the mayor, so you gather your confidence and step inside. The inside certainly looks a lot finer than the exterior, though it is still not anything to write home about. Pictures of Dresmond and his exploits line the wall, along with many exotic fish skeletons and a painting of the current mayor Reynolds himself.

At the far end of the room is the desk of the mayors secretary, she sees you enter and waves you forward. When she inquires about any sort of reservation you explain that you have come in response to the mayor's call to adventure, to put down the evil bandits in pirates infecting the fishing villages. She informs you that the mayor is currently occupied and tells you to wait patiently in the waiting room. You comply of course not wanting to sound rude, it is then that you notice five others who arrived at around the same time as you who also claim to be here for the same reason, you all make your way to the waiting room and well..... wait. The waiting room is nothing more than eight wooden chairs gathered around a small table, there is currently nothing on the table. There is also a small wood fireplace in the corner and a large window that gives a nice vantage point over the port and sea below.

Giving everyone the option to intro how their characters got here and perhaps do some rping among each other, once everyone has posted at least once I'll continue.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

I'll open up the IC thread in about an hour, so soon we can get started.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

I ended up accepting 6 people, because I am indecisive :)

I'm sure they will post soon, once everyone does I'll open up the IC thread.

Male Human Magic User/ 28

OOC thread for Evil Lurks Beneath the Sea. As soon as you get the invite please post in here to let me know you got it, also if at any time you are unable to post for an extended period of time please let us know in this thread.

Lastly if you could all please let me know how often you will be able to post as well as your timezone(so I know when I can expect posts) that would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for not updating yesterday, I was having some internet troubles but all is well now. I am not entirely sure how to add people to the game but I will figure it out. I'll be sending a pm to all of you who submitted complete applications, even those who didn't make it. So expect a pm within the hour, and uhhh I may figure out how to invite people to the game at some point in that time.

Well I waited 2 days and it doesn't seem like anyone else is still making characters so I'll close the recruitment here. It's a bit late though so I won't actually be choosing applications until early tomorrow, and just to remind everyone again I am aiming for 5 characters, those who are not chosen will be first picks if anyone drops out later on.

Captain collateral damage: Nialto Waverider, Human Cavalier, stats only
Deevor : Bio and stats rolled.

I said I'd give people who were still making characters enough time to finis them, so I'll leave the thread open for another 2 days or so. I'll be accepting 5 profiles though I may accept 6 if I can't decide on 5.

@zomblisham: For the purpose of keeping my sanity I would rather not have to learn even more rules, so I would prefer if you didn't use these rules. Sorry about that.

@All: I let kevin fallick use a variant lizardfolk race to better reflect the Lizardfolk tribe his character comes from. So I suppose if others wish so they may do the same, just be sure to calculate the RP cost of their abilities and make a clear list of all their racial abilities. And don't make it too ridiculous, only make small changes that would make sense to reflect your lizardfolk tribe.

Complete:
Fallen_Mage: Veldor, Halfling Arcanist
Llaelian: Ssraaz, Lizardfolk Ranger
Winter Phoenix: Wisp Waverider, Halfling Druid
Edward Sobel: Reggie Two-Fist, Human Brawler

XenoCide78: Dwarf Skald, Stats only
Captain collateral damage: Nialto Waverider, Human Cavalier, stats only
Deevor : Bio and stats rolled.
zomblisham: Ral'Zek Firebrand, Human Sorceror. Finished but has to make small change the word casting thing.

I think this is everyone, if I missed a complete or partially complete character let me know.

I will give everyone who has dotted thus far time to finish their character before choosing characters. So take your time if you want.

@The_Mad_Monarch: I've never heard of this multiclass varient, though it seems simple enough so I suppose you can use it. I will just have to look over it and familirize myself with it. I would prefer if you put your character stats into your alias profile, though it is fine just to use the mythweavers sheet if you want.

@TheWorg: You still need a finsihed characer sheet(though this isn't that important, it's just that I'd like to be able to start right away upon choosing the group) and an Alias for your character.

@kevin fallick: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/more-races/standard-races-1-10-rp /lizardfolk-8-rp is the link for lizardfolk stats, the only difference being that Lizardfolk start with Draconic and Common for languages, and they can hold their breath for 4xcon rounds instead of 2xcon.

@zomblisham: Word casting? I have no idea what that is...

Sorry for going missing for a while there folks. I was just waiting for applications and well... didn't get any for a while and just kinda forgot about this for a bit there lol. It's good to see some more interest and I will update the received applications.

Also zomblisham I see where you are coming from with the stats thing and would prefer people don't decide to not make a character due to bad stats so I will allow those who wish to use the 20 point buy.

Applications thus far.

Complete:
Fallen_Mage: Veldor, Halfling Arcanist
Llaelian: Ssraaz, Lizardfolk Ranger
Winter Phoenix: Wisp Waverider, Halfling Druid
Edward Sobel: Reggie Two-Fist, Human, Brawler

Partially Complete:
XenoCide78: Dwarf Skald, Stats only
Captain collateral damage: Nialto Waverider, Human Cavalier, stats only
TheWorg: Robert Gallman, Bio and stats rolled.
Deevor : Bio and stats rolled.

And a bunch of others who have posted interest or rolled stats.

For me to consider your application finished I'll need you to have an alias made for your character and all stats/equipment done.

To those of you with finished applications from like 10 days back please do post again in this thread if you are still interested cause I am still interested in running this game and just sort of forgot about it for a few days.

I couldn't figure out how to edit my post (if there even is a way) so I made the edit and am just re-posting it.

@Darkfire142: You can play an Undine if you like, they would still be somewhat uncommon but not so much so that they are unheard of living there.

@CaptainMarvelous: I suppose you could play a Tiefling if you wish, they would be very uncommon though and likely shunned by most societies who know about them. The Seven Isles are made up of rather small communities though so they probably wouldn't care that much about Tieflings(let alone know about their existence).

@All: I will try to compose a list of all the people who have shown interest in the game thus far as well as what class they are and their progress in completing their application etc. This is mostly for my benefit but I figure it will be useful for everyone as you can get an idea about what characters have been made thus far without having to scan through all the posts.

I'll let you take an aquatic mount if you wish as it works with the setting. You'll just have to make sure it is the right size and that it is actually setting enough to carry you. A lot of the druid companions start out as small sized though so finding a suitable mount may be hard.

I should probably have mentioned before but rules for making lizardfolk characters can be found here

The only differences being that Lizardfolk start with Draconic and Common for languages, and they can hold their breath for 4xcon rounds instead of 2xcon.

The cavalier mount ability works like a druids animal companion right? So if there are rules for any aquatic creatures you would like to use as your mount in the druids animal companion list then you are allowed to take them if you wish, however keep in mind the animal has to be at least the same size as your character for you to be able to use them as a mount.

@Llaelian: I'll leave the specifics of Lizardfolk culture up to you, however just as a note the western isles are more swamp like and much of the Lizardfolk population live their. The Lizardfolk on these isles have formed into different tribes and a somewhat primitive in nature, depending on where the tribe lives would probably determine a fair amount of their culture(the difference between living in a swamp and on the coast for example). On the main island there are few Lizardfolk tribes and most have adapted to town life.

Dresmonds death is rather recent, I'd say like 8 years or so. The current mayor is the second mayor of Middleport.

Edit: I also failed to mention that Dresmond was a Halfling, of the Cleric/Paladin variety.

@Fallen_Mage: 1) No, I have never heard of Pathfinder Unchained but after looking at the rules for this in the srd I have no plan of using them.
2) Sure, again up until you mentioned it I had no idea what it was but after looking it over I like these rules better then the actual crafting rules.
3) There will be down time if the players decide on taking downtime, there will be a fair amount of traveling as well. In the later parts of the adventure there will probably be less downtime available.

Sounds good to me Winter Phoenix! From what I recall you can take two archetypes as long as none of the abilities overlap so that should be fine, though I will point out that there will be a fair amount of non aquatic encounters as well. Just to give you an idea the primary environments will be: Tropical Jungle, Tropical Swamp, Ocean, Coastal Caves, and some urban/rural town areas though most are coastal as well.

EVIL LURKS BENEATH THE SEA

"For 60 years the people of Sieben Inseln have lived a life free of the tyranny of evil, in fact you could say things have been going ever so swimmingly well since the great Dresmond Valorous claimed the Isles from the tyranny of the Sahuagin. However, evil never truly dies and foreboding signs have been reported from several coastal villages. These sudden disturbances have caught the attention of the Mayor of Middleport, who has issued out a call to adventurers all throughout the seven islands to investigate this matter, he has asked for anyone interested to meet him personally for a briefing at the city hall."

First and foremost I would like to point out that I have wanted to run/play in a pbp game for a long time, I recall several years back I did a few on Mythweavers but since then I have had no experience with the pbp format so forgive me if I am a bit rusty and take some time to figure out everything with the forum. Anyway now moving on to the important stuff.

Initially I came up with the idea for this game for the OSRIC system, though from what I can tell AD&D clones and the like are not very popular on these forums so instead I have decided to run it using Pathfinder, all the details on the game itself and making characters will be found below in spoiler tags, I would recommend reading all the setting details before getting to work on a character.

Setting Info: Sieben Inseln (Seven Isles):

Humans:32% Halflings:12% Lizardfolk:26% Dwarves:18% Other:12% (This is an average of the seven islands, therefor this is not necessarily indicative of the racial diversity of each island individually. In general the western isles have higher lizardfolk population and the eastern islands have higher human population, the center island where Middleport is found is the most diverse and most populated)

Capital: Middleport (Medium Town)
Population: 2705
Exports: Tropical fruit, lumber, exotic animal skins, precious metals.

Sieben Inseln (Seven Isles) is an archipelago found off of the coast of the country of Tyfris, which is visible to the east of the islands. The archipelago is made up of seven islands(as the name implies) the islands to the west are swamp infested and generally home to much of the lizardman population, as where the islands to the east are more tropical. In the center of the archipelago is an island much greater in size then the rest, this island is something of a hub for the many races that live here to gather, it is also the main trading hub of the isles, handling most of the trades done with Tyfris. The islands are technically a part of the country of Tyfris, although for the most part they are self governed, with the mayor of Middleport being the head official. The Seven Isles trade mostly in tropical fruit, lumber, and precious metals, this makes up the vast majority of their exports. Aside from being rich in natural resources, The Seven Isles are also a very popular resort location for people from Tyfris, the country of Tyfris being a forest infested and very dangerous place to live the islands also make for a very popular retirement spot. Overall the islands have been quite peaceful since their colonization, outside of some disputes between the lizardfolk, dwarves, and humans (which have all been solved peacefully) there is little conflict here, nonetheless it is not entirely safe as it is home to quite a few dangerous animals, beasts, and bandits are not entirely uncommon in some of the bigger trading locations.

Brief History of Sieben Inseln::
Going back 60 years, the Seven Isles were home to two races, the tribal but ultimately peaceful lizardfolk who inhabited the western marshes, and many tribes of Sahuagins, all fervent worshipers of Shargon the Devourer. As one might expect conflict arose between the two groups as the Sahuagin relentlessly attacked the Lizardfolks in their swamp and cave villages. The lizardmen in the end did not put up much of a fight and their numbers and tribes dwindled significantly as the islands were claimed by evil sahuagin. At around this same time a retired adventurer named Dresmond Valourous had been seeking out an ideal retirement spot for he and his family. He had spotted an island off the coast of Tyfris once before in his adventures and figured he would scout out the place, however upon drawing close to the islands he was attacked by Sahuagin and his boat was destroyed, being knocked out in the combat he drifted to shore. Dresmond awoke to find himself in a lizardman village where the elder told him their story, Dresmond who had lost many supplies and his ship had no means to return home so he decided to offer his aid to the Lizardmen tribe in combating the tyrants of the island. Seeking to retrieve his lost goods and gain safe travel home, Dresmond formed a new adventuring group with the strongest warriors of the tribes and set out to combat the Sahuagin menace. After many a battle on land and in water the group emerged victorious after defeating the Devourer cult leader.

After his success Dresmond briefly returned home, only to pick up his family and return to the islands where they settled down and became fisherman. Of course rumor of Dresmonds efforts did not go unheard as the people of Tyfris began telling tales of his quest on the islands, at which point many fisherman and folks living on the coast of Tyfris left to live on the new found islands. Many adventurers where also allured by the islands as it had been mostly unexplored. Over time enough people were brought to the island that many towns were formed on each of the islands, including a great deal of dwarves who had heard rumor of the potential for finding precious metals on the island. At this point the islands were considered a colony of their own as Lizardfolk and humans alike lived together. However all was not yet perfect as conflict arose between the original inhabitants, and the newcomers, in order to keep the conflict in check Dresmond stepped up and was made first mayor of Middleport, a title he would keep until his death, the lizardfolk and men of Tyfris both held a certain respect for Dresmond and put aside their differences, since then there have been little to no conflicts between the two.

Character Applications:
Character Creation rules are as follows:
Level 1, max hd at first level roll after
Core Races + Lizardfolk only, others may be allowed on request.
Any non 3rd party class or archetype is permitted, however do consider the setting when choosing archetypes.
For stats roll two sets of 4d6b3 choose whichever set you like.
Alignment: As long as you are not indiscriminately murdering random people any alignment is a okay.
Characters may choose 1 trait, or 2 and a drawback.
Starting wealth is rolled.

As a DM, I like my characters to get creative, I have left the world empty on purpose and encourage players to develop the world through their backstories and characters. Another thing I should note, is that I encourage roleplaying and character development between characters, get creative and work out potential history with each others characters. Lastly as far as deities go, you are safe to use any of the Greyhawk, Golarion, or Faerun deities or make your own to fit your character whatever floats your boat. Having a fully fleshed out Bio, a paragraph for Appearance and Personality is a must. It doesn't have to be anything fancy but know that I will be choosing applications largely based on these three things.

I'll be choosing 4-6 of the Apps that I get to join me for the game, I don't have a planned date for when I will be choosing apps but I will probably be leaving the recruitment thread up for a week or so depending on how much interest this gets. Just a few things everyone should note before considering making their app:
-This adventure was initially designed by myself for OSRIC, and went to around level 3-4, not sure how that would transfer over to pathfinder but just know that this will be a relatively long running adventure.
-I intend for this to be a quick moving game, by that I mean daily posts in the IC thread. In RP scenarios where you don't have anything to add you do not necessarily have to post once per day however in combat I am hoping to have several updates per day.
-If we see this adventure to completion I am willing to continue it with further adventurers should everyone be interested.

Some Other Things to Note:
-I have not used this site to do a pbp before, I am accustomed to using mythweavers sheets for most of my tabletop game however if there is some method of making sheets on this site that is generally used then feel free to just use that and I'll probably figure it out eventually.
-Considering it is a tropical/water based setting weapons like, tridents, boarding axes/pike/gaff, cutlass, spears, harpoons, pistols, nets etc will likely see a lot of use(hint, hint, wink, wink, you will find a lot of magic items of these types)
-The Lizardfolk of Sieban Inseln have common in addition to their racial language as starting languages.
-I am more interested in fun/interesting characters than I am in big numbers or min/max characters.
