![]() I was on another thread that was discussing pregens. The issue being should we be able to apply and use faction boons from/for the character the exp. is going to? It led to a post by [Andrew Christian], "The pregen is not really a separate character. Its a proxy stat block for your character"; :If the character's paperpwork is not present, then you can only work with the gold earned on the chronicle sheet and the pregen's gear."
1.This indicates that if you have the paperwork for the character that you're going to apply the exp. to you can use money at the very least, consumables as a possibility, and maybe even equipment and other gear (your paladin is observing a religious holiday so lent his/her armor to a comrade to aid in their quest for good/to smite non-believers?). Part 1 was just what was stated and what could be reasonably interpreted from Andrew's post, this next one will need a definitive ruling from paizo. 2.The post mentions paperwork, this obviously means character sheet and maybe inventory sheet, but what about chronicle sheets? If you're going to adventure in Irrisen can you use the boon you have that lets you ignore cold temps. like an endure elements spell but only for cold, thoughts? ![]()
![]() Hey all, like the thread says I need help coming up with a name for my gun, I am a level 1 musket master named Kit Valentine, Keleshite from the great city of Alkenstar in the Manawastes, I plan on using it as a backup weapon when I get an adamantine two-barreled musket with greater reliability, distance, and seeking. I wear a hat that looks like a cross between a Stetson and a Trilby, a pocho type cloak, thick and heavy boots, and leather armor that will be replaced with iron lamellar armor made out of mithral. My stats are

![]() I'm building a gunslinger with the musket master archetype, he's human with 13 str, 18 dex, 16 con, 7 int, 14 wis, and 7 cha. I gave him point blank shot and precise shot for his starting feats and for skills he has acrobatics, perception, sleight of hand (thinking of changing this one) and profession, gonna put the extra point in HP I think unless there is something else I can do with humans and favored class. As for gear all I have is leather armor, enough powder and bullets to fill his gun and powder horn, a backpack, starting musket, a free club, belt pouch, canteen, flint and steel, 2 torches, 2 oil, chalk, earplugs, a blanket, a waterproof-bag, some wander meal, and a couple of wristsheaths. He'll eventually have a pepperbox rifle with greater reliability and distance on it unless I find something better, I want him to be able to take down like a quarter of the big bads HP in the opening salvo then sneak off to reload, let my teammates where him down some more, then finish him off. I have the reactionary trait and plan on getting improved initiative. ![]()
![]() I want to make a gunslinger who uses a pistol but the range on them is only 20ft, so I was thinking about giving it the Distance special ability from UE which "doubles the range increment of others of its kind." My question is if I do this and I fire from 40ft away will my attacks still count as touch attacks? ![]()
![]() I'm wondering how you figure out the hitpoints for an animal companion. I've looked in the CRB and it says that at lvl. 1 they start with 2 HD, but other than that it doesn't go into any more detail on the subject. This is for an Ulfen ranger named Sterk Seastrider who will have a wolf named Hati Mooneater and a half elf hunter named T.J. Breckenridge with a T.Rex named Gwangi. ![]()
![]() Like the thread says, I want to upgrade my level 3 rangers +3 PP bought Darkwood Bow. I'm hoping to do this via masterwork transformation under spellcasting services (Caster level × spell level × 10 gp).I just have three questions, can I get a masterwork transformation on a weapon I bought with PP and does the +3 already on it affect it in some way I'm not seeing? The last question is the most important, the special materials section of the equipment section pertaining darkwood wrote: Any wooden or mostly wooden item (such as a bow or spear) made from darkwood is considered a masterwork item. so what I'm asking, is my bow already masterwork because of the material it's made of? ![]()
![]() I saw an older thread from 2012 where people were putting funny things that happened to them, I'd like to restart that only it doesn't have to just be funny, as long as a good time was had and something amazing happened during play feel to share.
