"Before we all goto sleep, I think we should meet to discuss the ambush." Longfeather greets everyone at Borden's home. "I'm worried about escorting Borden to the location. If Belig sees he may run. Perhaps we could camp near the drop off location and set up the ambush before Borden arrives?"
Tengu Male Cleric
"Sir, why have you waited so long to take action on this task? Do you have reason to believe the knowledge within this place is likely to sought by malicious forces soon or that your former employer might go to check that job was done thoroughly?" Longfeather says eying the man up. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

I've all I can think to ask at the dinner. I'll begin talking to group in private. "As much as I like the idea of an ambush, I think we need to find out more about these goblins before we strike. I would suggest that you all investigate the town to see of you can determine if Irra's theory about the well is correct and attend the meeting with Belig. I could travel to the town separately and after your meeting with Belig, I'll follow him and act as if I want to get in on his scheme. I've been around a few criminal types so I think I can approximate the mannerisms. With any luck, he'll let me in on what their plans are and where they reside and we can strike a decisive blow against them. What do you all think?"

Could I use a heal check determine if the symptoms that borden described match a poison or dead animal in the well? -Posted with Wayfinder
Tengu Male Cleric
@dm I asked borden about how quickly the villagers recovered after the payment to Belig LongFeather looks over to Borden, "You expect Belig to return for your supplies? Around what time of day does usually arrive? I'd like to have some time to look around Thistle before he arrives. " -Posted with Wayfinder

"So Belig is goblin. Darnak, Irra, does this sound like a plan you have seen goblins execute before? I thought there tactics leaned more simply kill the weak and take their food not extort it from them. " LongFeather looks over to the guest, "This plague is strange too, how long after you paid the ransom did everyone get better? " -Posted with Wayfinder

"Sir, I do have more questions but I will wait until your other visitor has told his story. One question, do you know where we could acquire accommodations for the night? " I'm ready to move on to dinner when everyone else is -Posted with Wayfinder

Longfeather sees Irra speaking with Marie and walks over, "I'm sorry to interrupt, could I borrow my companion for a just a moment." Longfeather will pull Irra and whisper to her, "The young lass seems to be staring at me, I'm used to odd looks but could you just make sure it's nothing serious?" Longfeather walks back over to the Lord and continues recounting the events of the attack.
Tengu Male Cleric
Longfeather steps up after Darnak finishes speaking, "Sadly, I think you are mistaken Darnak. One of the guards at the manor did fall. Also, we captured one of the goblins and he told us that their band was lead by someone named 'Belig'. If you know nothing of this Belig, we thought we might investigate him to insure he was no major threat." Once Longfeather is done speaking, he steps back again.
Tengu Male Cleric
Longfeather, who had been standing back, steps forward slowly when he sees that everyone else in the party has gone up to the guards. "I, too, was witness to the events at the manor and present myself to speak to the Lord Wildhurst if he so wishes." Longfeather is speaking in a higher pitch than usual and has his knees bent in such a way that he appears an inch or two shorter.

I've seen DMs handle this in a few different ways to PbP so I want to clarify before we get to deep in to things. When it comes to daily spell prep, do you assume spell prep has been handled if we get a normal night of sleep and only worry about it if spells are going to be changed?
Tengu Male Cleric
"Once we reach Gulduria and finished our contract with the caravan, would any of you be interested in investigating this Belig? It worries me that they have a leader. Darnak, that is not a common occurrence with goblins, is it?" Longfeather turns to the Lady, "I'm sorry, I have completely forgotten to ask if you need my services for your guard who has passed or will other arrangements be made."

"Even dogs have a measure of intelligence, Darnak. They might not sharpest beak in the nest, but underestimating the goblins might be a mistake." -Posted with Wayfinder

Longfeather sits down and does his best to eat in a dignified manner, which amounts to eating very slowly. He pauses for a moment and looks over at the Lady. "Excuse me, mam, if you don't mind my asking, would you or your men know anything about the 'Belig' that the goblin mentioned?"

Sounds great to me. I assumed that everyone so far that longfeather has met is accustomed to dealing with a variety of races and thus did not look down him immediately. Sorry, I'm not super familiar with the geography of Golarion. Most of my home games have taken place in custom settings.
Tengu Male Cleric
I certainly don't mind if racial prejudices come up in regard to longfeather but I wouldn't want it to me a central theme. I picked a tengu knowing very well that they are a marginalized race as written and that could come up but that also is Golarion, which (correct me if I'm wrong) this game doesn't take place in. To be clear, you are suggesting that tengu are not looked down on by most people in this setting? This would inform some of longfeather's behavior, like his reaction to the group's reactions to goblins in general. It won't change much, just little things for me to keep in mind.

"Thank you, Thim, I have a nickname but I find it is hard for those without a beak to say." When they have moved all the goblin bodies into the fire, Longfeather takes his symbol from his neck, bends down and begins praying in Tengu. After several moments, he rises and points his symbol towards where the bodies are in the fire and says, "Saranae, redeem these misguided souls."
Tengu Male Cleric
Longfeather moves a bit closer to V'thamuus and speaks quietly to him.

So I wanted to flesh out some more ideas about how Longfeather sounds, acts and looks. A lot of this stuff is in my head and a bit hard to articulate in every single post I make so I figured making a little OOC post about it might be appropriate. Appearance:
At first glance, to most non-Tengu, Longfeather looks rather generic physically. On the left side of his beak, a symbol has been carved lightly into his beak and filled with red paint. The symbol is distinct enough that anyone in the party would likely notice if someone tried to fake it. At some point I will get around to find or drawing a picture of this symbol. Longfeather wears a plain burlap colored loose jacket that looks to made of very thin cloth. Its clearly baggier than it needs to be and you can see that sleeves and the bottom of jacket have been altered by hand to better suit the frame of a tengu and hood seems to have been added which does quite match the color of the jacket. The jacket ends just above where the pants begin. The pants are similarly baggy and his sword hangs from his belt. The pants look to be older than the jacket and are have several patches. His wooden holy symbol tangles from a necklace with a matching pattern of beads on either side. Behavior:
Longfeather speaks common very well but he speaks it like a non-native speaker, a bit too formal, makes some minor mistakes (like saying "too much" when he should "too many") and with a clear accent that doesn't make him hard to understand. For reference his accent probably sounds a bit like this: Just the beginning bit where he says hello. When he talks fast, he sometimes will squawk a bit between sentences. When he isn't busy doing something he can be seen tugging at his armor in a way that suggests that he isn't accustomed to wearing it. He has bit of a hopstep when he walks and when he runs, his arms move a bit as if he wants to flap them. Hopefully this will help to remind to roleplay the fact that Longfeather is a Tengu and help you guys to fill in the gaps when it might not make sense to include the details. If there any specific things you would like to know about Longfeather, feel free to ask. There isn't much official guidance that I've found on Tengu beyond the little bit in the advanced race guide, so I've been looking up info about ravens and other birds to get inspiration.

"Little one, you just told us you speak common. I see what you mean, you probably won't leave here alive so why tell us anything. Well, you have two options, you can speak to me, someone who has no hate for you and if you tell me what I need to keep the rest satisfied I'll end you life painlessly or you can speak to any of them, who have hated goblins all their lives and just watched you kill a man. I don't wish to see pain come to you, but the choice is in your hands." Longfeather puts a hand in front of V'thamuus and says, "Please, allow him a moment to choose his fate before you begin your 'conversation' with him."
Tengu Male Cleric
"If she wasn't opposed to us bringing the entire caravan here, I suppose we could stay here." Longfeather looks over at the injured goblin and his feather ruffle up. He turns back to Darnak and says, "If we want to bring them here, we ought to find out what brought the goblins here in the first place"
Tengu Male Cleric
"I think he would say something about not getting paid to play hero and tell us to hurry up and set up the camp. I would suggest we leave that to the others tonight and stick to keeping watch though." Longfeather walks over to where he dropped his pack, picks it up and comes back. "Whatever is decided we need to go back inform the caravan soon."
Tengu Male Cleric
Longfeather walks up to the formally critically injured guard and inspects V'Thamuus' handiwork. "Nice work, I'll provide what healing I can and then I would suggest we get back to the caravan. This group of goblins might not be the only group around." Longfeather grasps his holy symbol and says, "Any who are still wounded, come stand near me," bows his head, and begins praying. Longfeather will wait a few moments to allow the guards to gather (and Darnak if he is still hurt) and casts Channel Positive Energy. Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Hey guys, I will be working again tomorrow, so I wanted to post my move preemptively. Basically, I was planning on heading over to Darnak and (if I can reach him) casting cure light wounds. If I need to roll and flesh out the post I can do that in the morning before I head in but I just didn't want to leave you guys hanging all day again.
Tengu Male Cleric
In my most recent turn, just posted, I wanted to determine the prone man's status but it didn't seem like that would be part of the heal check necessarily. Seemed like possibly something I could try to determine with Perception as I headed to him but what I found is that would be a move action. Basically I'm asking if my turn could go like this: move, roll perception, heal check if he isn't dead or draw weapon if he is dead.
