Hi all, I only have the first book in the AP so could someone tell me if it is narratively important for Ugly Cute to be a giant stone spider? Is there a a larger spider theme that gets more developed later in the AP or something?

I would like to swap it out for another animal and I am wondering if that will mess up things that are supposed to happen later on, like if I changed it to a giant toad, or a two headed tanuki or something?

Thanks!

This AP looks very intriguing. Anyone played the first book yet? How did it go?

Hi gang, anyone know of any good PF2e podcasts that are NOT actual plays?

I'm getting really *really* bored of all the 5e content in the GM podcasts I usually listen to (Sly Flourish, Mastering Dungeons, Eldritch Lorecast) and am looking for alternatives.

Thanks!

Hi all, as the topic says I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the most fun opening adventures to an PF2e AP.

I really like collecting low level adventures that I can run my players through so that they can play around with different characters and themes and the like.

I have the Beginner Box that we used to learn the system, Crown of the Kobold King, Kingmaker and Abomination Vaults.

The opening of Kingmaker looks fun and quite easily re-skin-able to make it an attempted coup or assassination that the PCs get caught up in. I like the opening of AV too. The start of CotKK seems a little lacking and basic (Hallows Last Hope) which is odd as the PF1 version seems much cooler.

What have your experiences been? Extra points for interesting foes, hooks and situations.

Hi all, I'm running the BB for a bunch of newbies soon and I was wondering if there were alt art for the characters & character sheets?

Specifically, I don't want the girl who is super keen to play a wizard to be stuck as an old man, but all my players are gender reversed (cleric and rogue are guys, wizard and fighter are girls).

Thanks!

Hey all, personally I find trawling through the books to find treasure for my PCs both difficult and dull. Difficult as I don't find it easy to find/discern level appropriate gear, and dull as well I really couldn't be bothered going through spell lists to find which can be potions or scrolls or wands, and then having to choose what caster level they were made at and then which I should give out etc...

I know on pg 461 of the core rulebook there a 'random magic item generation' table but it doesn't help out with weapon or armor types, and it's particularly unhelpful when it comes to potions and scrolls as it doesn't specify what they are other than caster/spell level.

My question is this -

Does anyone know of a decent random treasure generator? It doesn't have to be a program, I'm perfectly happy with rolling on a table.
