Wow really? That totally does not seem to fit a Pirate AP.

Ya, I'm good leaving this here. The whole AP just didn't have the fun that I thought it would have.

Let Puck have the island and the rest of us can sail off into the sunset.

So.. Given this PBP is ending, are there any other really fun APs or Modules that people suggest I should watch for another PBP to start up on?

Lets just get the Kracken to port. I hate to say it but Captain Harrigan beat us today. If we attack him now, the Master of Gales will take his side, and we are in no shape to challenge him.

But if we have the ship, we can always pay him back tomorrow.
Tonight let's get things fixed, and celebrate with the crew that we survived.

We can start plotting how to sink him tomorrow.

Kingmaker basically gives you an Explore/map this area quest and then puts a bunch of interesting challenges in front of the party based on where they decide to go.

If they had done that, this might have been a lot more fun.

But both APs seem to have some trouble withthe tacked on rules systems.
I've seen reviews of people who don't like the kingdom building aspect of Kingmaker, and I don't think the ship combat of S&S was very good at all.

Or if the mermaid necklace allows the user to swim fast enough to do that either. I'd do it if the necklace allows the user to swim that fast.

Good afternoon sleepyhead! I hope your head is feeling OK.
He seems unreasonably chipper to Noonan.

Come, Come we must be getting back to the ship.

Lito leads Noonan back to the ship, glancing back over his sholder with a smile, looking Fairwind's command post.
Oh, yes, I'll need to visit Tessa again, when we are next in town together.

The cheerfulness is still present when he arrives at the Kracken. Glancing over at the crew training on deck he shouts:
Mistress of Arms, I'm very glad to see you on your feet again!

Then he heads over to find Besmara and fill her in on the letter of credit, thoughts Tessa had on the spy ring and to start to feel her out on if she would be open to running the Regatta.

He thinks for a moment then says:
So you have to win to get a seat on the council?

Suddenly he looks back at her and says:
But wait, I don't understand why the Master of Gales would compete multiple times... Do you have to run the race every year to hold onto the seat? It would be a colossal waste to think that the sea might eventually claim such a beautiful woman as yourself when you have so much more to teach the rest of us.

Oh, he's not competing this time? I suppose we could throw our hats in the ring to make sure the Kracken continues to win.

The captain hasn't mentioned that before, but then none of us had any idea that winning it grants a seat on the council.

He thinks for a moment and then continues softly as if talking to himself...
Hmmm... Do I push Besmara to join the race. Having her on the council could be useful, but I know her... She's not one to jump through hoops for anyone if there isn't something in it for her.

Gorgeous, Smart, politically powerful, and from the looks of those trophies, the captain of a damn fine pirate crew. No wonder so many captains on the console look to you.

So tell me Tessa, what's the secret to rising in the ranks of the free captains? How does the Kracken make a name for itself besides the obvious?

Are there any non-captains on the list?
There was an assassin that was killing members of the spy ring. If the numbers aren't bribes could they be amounts for someone to betray you or assassinate you? If there are non-captains on the list, it would seem more likely to be the later.

Sensing her mood, Lito turns serious, leaving off his flirting ways for a time.
The only clue we have is that the plan is happening soon and it has something to do with the Master of Gales.

The only thing I know about him, is he wins the pirate Regata often, operates out of Drenchport, and is rumored to know more about the Eye then anyone. Do you know more, or is what we have to work with?

Foxy, did I miss any clues we found?

Lito lay’s out the whole story for her, pulling out the evidence and explaining it toher as he comes to the correct points in the story. He makes sure to make the story as entertaining as possible for Tessa while giving her all the important facts and dramatically giving each officer in the crew a heroic moment to shine.

Note he will gloss over some of the details with the priestesses although he will let slide how impressed the high priestess was with him before moving on. The goal here is to discretely impress Tessa not flaunt his conquests.

You expected something less?
The captain she does what she sets her mind too, and I make it a point to never to renig on a commitment to someone as impressive as yourself.

Between the two of us, we have the Kracken running as a pretty tight ship.
So we not only have the proof of the spies for you, we have names, intercepted orders and numbers of informants in each crew.
Oh and as a side benifit we disrupted the message flow going back to Cheliax.

So ya, I’d say we found something.
He smiles a winning smile at her.
Do you have a little time? I’d be happy to lay out all the details for you. But it might take a little bit of time as there’s quite a bit here.

Of course Noonan says that :)

Lito grins back at the captain.

Can you blame me? She will make a powerful friend for the crew and is almost as pretty as you.
He winks at her as he says the last.

Then he goes off to gather all the evidence of the spy ring.
When he’s done he come back on deck with everything tucked neatly in a backpack to leave his hands free to fight if he gets jumped.

Hearing Noonan comment he is about to object when he thinks better if it.
Better if there are two of us in case we get jumped. The crew worked too hard to lose this evidence in some random mugging.
Come Noonan, Lets get this over to Captain Fairwind.

After enjoying the meal and handing out pay to the crew Lito approaches the captain.

Captain, do you want me to take what we found to Captain Fairwind, or do you want us all to go?

Everyone, I broke my dominant wrist a couple nights ago so please excuse me for the next few weeks if I don’t post often. Also they’re probably going to pretty short posts because typing is very hard right now.

Bit me as needed

Does that include all the stuff we got off the Pirates That were crashing things on the Reef and the Assassin Kenku?
I don't think we sold any of that stuff yet.
