OK, this gives me:
12
10
10
10
17
11

I'll spread it out as:
17 + 1 = 18 - Intellegence (the level 4 bonus).
12 - Constitution.
11 - Wisdom.
10 - Strenght.
10 - Charisma.
10 - Dextirity.

I'll build the character later today/tomorrow as I've said.

P.S. DM Jonasty - am I allowed to take a feat/skill/both representing the ability to identify terangrel?
I was thinking along the line of a feat which allows to roll weave sight on a terangrel.

Thanks everyone! :)
Jak Taboran - thou I didn't get to know you, I hope you'll come back and I'll get the chance.

Glad to be on the team.

I'll change alias and choose avatar today or tomorrow. As well as write appearance for Litheene.
Right now I'll roll:

4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 6) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 5) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 2) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 5) = 21
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 1) = 12

Jasper Firewyn and Alathea Sedai - thanks for your feedback.
I believe I'll go with the "making rigged adams" backstory.

OK, looking at the party, I see it doesn't exactly lack channallers.
In this case, DM Jonasty, in case my caracter is accepted, I'm askeing to consider the option of focusing it more on studying tarangrel and the one power (as a good brown should), rather than raw channalling.
Game wise, it means I'll be glad to take some kind of feat/s to allow for study of tarangrel.

In any case, my build plans in case of a regular build are:
2 wilder/3 initiate - damane don't receive training in the educated use of the power, and are designed for those who have the spark (wilder). In the white tower Shari switched to initiate training. This adds up to 2 affinities, 2 talents and 5 feats, one of which is eliminate block.
Intelligence and constitution oriented build (Shari had to have endurance, and concentration to withstand the leashing and plan escape).
Warding + Healing talents - Shari is less potent with direct power usage such as elementalism, but grasps well long term weaves that require pattern and planning.
Spirit, air and water affinities - a feat is spend here.
Tie of weave, sense residue, multiweave - Shari trains to become Aes Sedai.

In case that the build for terangrel oriented character is allowed:
1-2 of the feats are spend instead on the ability to study terangrel and replicate the adam (possible other simple ones).
The feat sacrificed will be water affinity (if one) and multiweave also (if two).

In any case, I'm going more for long term weaves, buffs and such, and less for direct damage. Litheene doesn't like to go back to the ways of damane training, which tried to focus her on using the OP as a weapon, against her natural orientation of delving into it's inner workings and thinking ahead.

DM Jonasty - In case you accept this character, I'll write a description, roll the dice and make it.

Edit: i say the below in a constructive critism manner, not an insulting way.

hmmmmmm...seems a very very long stretch to me. alot of inaccuracies, and potential munchkin, latent compulsion?
i have a hard time swallowing that...

i like the idea of the character, just not the latent compulsion, and the ability to channel it leashed. id say it would be better if your handler got killed by shrapnel and the leash got severed, thus freeing you, but with the collar still on your neck.

but im not the DM....

The story is indeed a stretch, thou it happened during the appearens of a taveren in Falme, according to the timeline.

I do not intend the character to actual have the compulsion wave. And the ability of latent channellers to make people like them (latent compuslion) is canon and even considered a common symptom in the books.

I considered the option of the handler killed, by then I would have also dies. The leash is not necessary for function.

I did just think of a better option thou - Shari could have made some of the adam's rigged, and malfunctioning. One of them got on a newly captured Aes Sedai. Shari confessed the flaw to her, and then during the attack the Aes Sedai was able to escape, and freed Shari, taking her with her.
This would also explain how she got to the tower.

This way there is no latent compulsion.

P.S. in general, according to my understanding of the books, wilders who use latent compulsion do not actually get the real compulsion automatically upon becoming conscious channellers. They maintain the same low level of suggestion ability at best. But anyhow I don't see this part of the story as important in the character design.

Hi, I've found this place and discussion on Google when looking for a community to play in an online WoT d20 campaign.

Is there still an option to join in?
I'm a big fan of WoT, read the d20 book, and prophecies, and significant experience in 3.5 edition.
However, I must confess I'm not experienced in PBP gaming.

Also, is there anyone interested in running a real time game? Using programs like Skype/Messenger to simulate a RL campaign.

So here's the deal. I'm not actually opposed to adding a new player, it could work fine given the right circumstances. That being the case, I need to see the circumstances. So put together some kind of character concept and post it here for me to review. If I like it and it looks like it could work with the group I've got here, then we might be able to work something out. When doing this, feel free to read through the game thread to see who else is already involved. Something to keep in mind, if I do add you it will be as a new interaction, not simply that you've been with everyone and just haven't said anything up till now.

As far as the PBP experience, I'm not too concerned about how much or little you've done. I only started doing this about 6 months ago or so myself and I'm still getting the hang of things.

So feel free to give me an idea and we'll go from there.

OK, seems perfectly fair.

My character idea is as follows:
I'd like to play an escaped damane named Shari (damane name) - Litheene (birth name), that runs away from the Seanchan to learn and become Aes Sedai. Litheene was born and raised in a low blood house, and originally had a dream to become a scribe, librarian or historian, as she was very curious, intelligent, and liked learning both about the world and about it's cultures.
At the age of 16, Litheene found out she could make people like her, or help her, by wishing it really hard and concentrating (latent compulsion). The next year, she was taken at the adam testing, chained as damane and named Shari. As a quick learner and chaneller, even thou she wasn't fully trained yet, Shari displayed the rare ability to create additional adam. Thus, she was chosen to go with the hailene, to help create adam as necessary, despite being newly chained and not fully subdued. After the conquest of falme, was stationed on the city border along with other damane.
There Shari heard from newly captured damane about the existance of the white tower and the free live of channalers. Thou scary, the idea enticed her, as she was not willing to give up her dreams, and being especially intelligent, had a hard time accepting herself as an animal.
Shari used the ability to channel a meager amount of the one power despite the adam, to use compulsion on a serving boy from among the locals, who was ignorant of the seanchan costume and could be swayed by the premise of a great reward from the white tower for freeing an Aes Sedai (Shari made him believe she is one, and also to fall in love with her). Knowing how to make adam, Shari knew how to open them, and was able to explain it to the serving boy.
Not realizing the danger she was in, she tried for freedom. In usual circumstances Shari would have been captured quickly, however, the conveniently timed attack on Falme and the seanchan gave her the opening to make a run for it, and disappear among the chaos.
It took Shari another half a year to make her way to the tower, and get accepted as a novice.
Litheene grew most attached to sisters from the brown Ajah, seeing her destiny among them, and making good impression on them with her love for knowledge. Her ability to understand and duplicate simple terangreal, also earned her points among the sister, and she was raised to accepted at the age of 19 (current age).

Litheene still sometimes uses her damane name, and has a hard time shaking off her seanchan heritage and training, thou she tries to supress it, especially among the sisters from which she seeks acceptance.
