"Very well. Let's focus on one, maybe the others will surrender." The ranger readies his bow and floods it with energy. He let's loose with an arrow at Kalisuel's prey.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 + 1d4 + 1d4 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (6) + (1) + (4) = 16

Hunter's Mark:

Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: 90 feet
Components: V
Duration: Up to 1 hour

You choose a creature you can see within range and mystically mark it as your quarry. Until the spell ends, you deal an extra 1d6 damage to the target whenever you hit it with a weapon attack, and you have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival) check you make to find it. If the target drops to 0 hit points before this spell ends, you can use a bonus action on a subsequent turn of yours to mark a new creature.

Favored Foe (Optional):

This 1st-level feature replaces the Favored Enemy feature and works with the Foe Slayer feature. You gain no benefit from the replaced feature and don't qualify for anything in the game that requires it.

When you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can call on your mystical bond with nature to mark the target as your favored enemy for 1 minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell).

The first time on each of your turns that you hit the favored enemy and deal damage to it, including when you mark it, you increase that damage by 1d4.

You can use this feature to mark a favored enemy a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

This feature's extra damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class: to 1d6 at 6th level and to 1d8 at 14th level.

Dreadful Strikes:

At 3rd level, you can augment your weapon strikes with mind-scarring magic, drawn from the gloomy hollows of the Feywild. When you hit a creature with a weapon, you can deal an extra 1d4 psychic damage to the target, which can take this extra damage only once per turn.

"By all means just stand there, if ye be COWARDS!" he barks at the two figures chatting away like on a Sunday picnic. "Or if ye've come to watch thy MINIONS at work, I'll have something special for you once I've crushed the un-natural life from them, by THOR!"

"I guess asking for help is against the Thorian religion!" He yells back.

Turning back to Kalisuel. "I'm mean, he's beseeching aid for this and beseeching aid for that. Two people come along that could help...answering his prayers, by the way… and what does he do?"

"He insults and threatens them."

Lil' Man stands up in his stirrups and yells at the Thorian with a pointed finger. "Thor deserves a better class of worshippers good sir!"

"Huh? But I see no beasts of burden," Kaliseul says as she looks at Li'l Man. The young woman is short enough that on the massive dog he's almost eye-level with her mask. Even without seeing her face, she looks positively confused. "And if there are any, what would they be doing in the trees? Do donkeys climb them as if they were spiders?"

"Ah, I see your confusion." Replies Lil' Man during the lull in combat. "You see, when I say 'ass beating', I'm referring to the physical punishment that they're receiving from the 'twig creatures'. Who knows why the 'Twig people' are so upset. Maybe it has to do with the sticks that the man and dwarf obviously have lodged up their rectums." Lil' Man shrugs

Kalisuel wrote:
"But what if they truly need help," Kalisuel asks Li'l Man.

"Then they would have asked for it, wouldn't they?" Lil' Man smiles at her. "Besides, given their attitudes, they probably earned the ass beating they're receiving."

"Is this one of those questions that I need not answer? For that matter, we have not even met. How would I know what powers you'd bring to a game," the masked and hooded figure asks.

"Game or not, do you need help or can you and your dwarven companion handle it?"

Lil' Man nods his head in agreement. He crosses his tiny arms across his tiny chest. "Let's just watch." He says to Kalisuel. "I bet ten gold crown that the thorn chucker dies first."

Sarcasm is for winners thinks Lil' Man

"So you won't be needin' our help then.

Have fun."

Lil' Man would hum 'didies usually adding a in few dirty limericks to pass the time on the road. He enjoyed when he could be silent and listen to Woodface sing. With the mask reverberating, the music came out all eerie. Still Lil' Man found it soothing somehow.

"Are they playing a game," she asks Li'l Man. The words come out slowly as she tries to puzzle out the mystery before her. "I thought only children played at fighting the creatures they imagine."

"Nay. Answers Lil' Man. "Dwarves ain't got the imagination for games."

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Lil' Man follows after Kalisuel

description:
The St. Bernard, Meat, was panting hard. You find it difficult to understand how Meat can see with all that hair. Riding high in the stirrups is Lil' Man. All of his clothes we're made by the best tailors. Mostly this was out of necessity. But his Hats. His current is purple felt with peacock feathers fanning the back.

Since this is my first combat...

Does he know if Briarkin are considered humanoid for charm person?

I think he can ride up 30' on Meat. Then as extra action, teleport to large tree branch 30' using Misty Step. Then cast charm person using 2nd level slot for two of them

Do I have that right?

She appears as an old woman in the dream that the others saw, so I’m guessing no.

Two words: Helen Mirren

Kalisuel:
We can build any story with our past group. I would love for all of them to have died horrific deaths in front of us. It'll be a bonding point.

Sample:

The scout had a big ass. Lil' Man could have laid across it, and neither his feet nor hands could reach the ground. If he laid across the other way, he'd have smothered to death in the crack. So it was funny to see her hop back and forth over the trap trigger. "See its safe."

Unfortunately, the trigger she danced over was a decoy. She had activated a time delayed pressure plate with her big ass ballet.

Two granite blocks spring foreword on either side of her. Her short death rattle was hidden by the granite slamming together. An eye ball dangles from the edge of the granite block trap by it's optic nerve. The nerve connects to a crushed and liquified head within the granite blocks. A severed lower arm flops on the ground, like a fish out of water.

"Huh." Says Lil'Man.

He turns to Kalisuel. Do you think her equipment is usable?"

I already have a few horrific deaths in mind. How wonderful to have a mechanism to insert flashbacks.

Is the witch good looking?

Danke

I'll spend the rest on custom made hats

It was mostly for flavor. However, I'm 5th level, and have no clue how much money I should have.

Hey, can I get a trained St. Bernard as a mount? I'd like to call her Meat. She's been a bit uppity lately. So I'm letting her know that if we were both starving, I'm eating her.

One more question

Otherworldly Glamour
Additionally at 3rd level, your fey qualities give you a supernatural charm. As a result, whenever you make a Charisma check, you gain a bonus to the check equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of +1).

does this mean I add WIS bonus to CHA skills?

For instance would my persuasion go from 8 to 10?

Perfect

Elvish, Northern Tongue, Nurian
