male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

sorry about that
Oh, no flanking for me this turn...

Lesarieth searches frantically for an opening to swipe at a lizard dog, eventually giving up in the chaos of melee and just taking a halfhearted swipe at LD2.

Piercing strike on LD2 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 vs. reflex to hit. 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 damage

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Lesarieth slides between the two remaining lizard-dogs, and briefly gives one a grim smile before lashing out hard at it's head.

Move to J6, then dazing strike with CA vs. LD4. 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 vs. AC to hit. 2d4 + 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (2, 1) + (4, 3) + 8 = 18 damage.

If that hits LD4 is dazed.
Oh give over, a 1? really?

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

"Right Akaran.... Of course, how can we fail with your expertise I think you will find you mean the left flank you moron"

Akaran can prance about all he wants, Lesarieth is a combat veteran and recognises Akaran's false expertise for exactly what it is.

In any case, attack vs. LD3 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 vs. AC to hit. 1d4 + 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + (3, 7) + 7 = 19 damage.

or not

"I was just... just trying to err... prove my point... err.. you see had that been the left fl..." Lesarieth realises he isn't fooling anyone, he missed, end of.

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

I'll, just go with the map as given for the time being

shift to H7 (flanking LD3) and then piercing strike. 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 2 = 13 vs. reflex to hit.2d8 + 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (8, 6) + (4) + 8 = 26 damage.

Lesarieth, amidst the confusion of battle, casually slides himself behind Tirshok's new 'friend' and aims his dagger just there.

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Alright, move to H7 then piercing strike on LD1.

[ooc] 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 2 = 16 vs. reflex to hit. If I hit then 1d4 + 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + (4, 4) + 8 = 18 damage.

Eager for more action, Lesarieth darts in to the fray, remembering at the last second to yell. "For god's sake cover me, I don't want anyone picking up peices of me".

"There, now you cant run away."

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

"Hmmm... I dont see what the problem is, yes, thanky you, I am pleased."

There is not, in fact, a hint of sacrasm in Lesarieth's voice.

Initiative 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Lesarieth sighs.... "Akaran, you aren't fooling anyone.

Spoiler:
Lesarieth is very, very bored. One way or another, he is going to make Akaran investigate

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

"We are being paid for protecting the caravan, I believe. And I don't really think actually letting ourselves get ambushed when we obviously know that we are going to be attacked again is really that sensible, is it Akaran? Besides, I'm bored, let's at least take a look."

Lesarieth gives Akaran a decidedly pointed look.

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Sorry, haven't posted for ages
Lesarieth eyes the surrounding's in a characteristically lazy way.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 perception

'Thats a lot of sand isn't it', he mutters to himself

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

"Like he said. It's Torshok, Akaran, try and get it right. Is it even worth correcting anyone at this point?"

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Lesarieth sits down among the others, casually twisting his rusted daggers in his hands.

"That was exhilarating at least, even with the philosophy. So, who are you people anyway? It's almost refreshing to meet someone who can fight again."

"So, who are you people, and why can't any of you pronounce anyone's name right?"

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Alright, dead target is dead. I take it i can redo the move action as well (still using the same attack)

Right, move to I4, then use shift from acrobatic strike to shift to I3. Targeting Lizard dog 2. Crit obviously. Crit damage is 28.

By the way, I really really am not bloodied, I've checked through a few times now.

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Just realised I was supposed to be having a turn around now.

shift 1 square to F5, then use acrobatic strike to shift again to E5 giving me flanking with Tirshok.

Acrobatic Strike vs. Lizard dog 4: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 8 + 2 = 30 vs. AC, if that hits then 1d4 + 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + (3, 6) + 8 = 19 damage.

Thats everything.

Lesarieth swallows his frustration for a moment, and deftly slips behind the wounded lizard dog, attempting to finish it off.

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

"Look, I'm all for a rational discussion. Emphasis on rational. But would you at least mind holding off the pointless philosophy for a slightly more appropriate time, preferably alone....

And Tirshok... I think I like you. Even if you do seem to be going out of your way to annoy me just at the moment."

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Just for the record, unless I misread a few posts, I'm neither wounded nor bloodied at the moment

Lesarieth sighs at Irivis and Akaran. "Look, we can bicker all day if you want, but personally I'm slightly more in favour of trying to not get gnawed to pieces"

"Oh, and by the way, before anyone tryes any funny business with my name. It is Les, just Les. It is also pronounced Les. That should be easy enough to say."

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Lesarieth mutters to himself, "we'll see who's slacking", not quite under his breath, and then aims a venomous stab at the nearest lizard-dog.

And what are you laughing at anyway, Iviris...

Basic attack, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 vs. AC to hit, if that hits then 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 damage

".... That was a fluke, could have happened to anyone..... Slacking indeed."

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

By the way, I'm not critically wounded yet, but I'm probably going to need healing pretty soon

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Lesarieth,Thoroughly unamused by the the newly bleeding bite on his ankle (you couldn't just have let that one slide could you aubrey?) takes his rage out on the retreating alpha, aiming a vicious blow at the centre of it's skull.

Dazing Strike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 vs. AC to hit

Hmmm... crit, waste of a 20.....

Damage is 13 and he's dazed till the end of my next turn.
Think I might just follow that up with something.

Still not remotely sated, Lesarieth then deftly slides round the stunned and bloody figure of the alpha and brutally shoves it back at it's comrades.
move to J5. Action Point.

Disrupting Advance: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 vs. AC to hit
That should hit.....
2d4 + 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (2, 1) + (4, 3) + 8 = 18 damage and alpha is pushed to G6. Alpha and Lizard dogs 3 and 4 are now slowed until the end of my next turn

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Lesarieth pulls himself together.
"Now that", he mutters to himself, "is more like it"
He then turns back to the Alpha with genuine venom in his eyes

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Move to I6 (I can make it without getting OA's) to flank with Tirshok.
Piercing Strike vs. Lizard dog alpha 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 2 = 22 vs. reflex
If that hits then 1d4 + 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + (1, 1) + 8 = 11 damage

Lesarieth sighs.... 'Looks like I'll have to intervene then', and with that advances half reluctantly forward on the alpha.

Wow, that damage could have looked better, I have to say.

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

H11 is good

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

"Look woman, a man need's his sleep, you'd be cranky too, anyway, bickering aside let's find out whether or not they want to rip us to shreads shall we?"

"Not that I have my hopes up, it isn't as if they look overly friendly."

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Almost half asleep, Lesarieth hastily wakes himself up.

"hmm, what? Is something happening or..... oh right."

Running to join the rest of the group he unsheaths a pair of barely functional looking battered daggers, and runs up to join the group.

"Look, are you sure you wan't to be doing this? I'm trying to sleep here, it would be so much more convenient for all of us if you would just go away" he yells at the incoming pack, only half ironically.

Initiative 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Yeah, Lesarieth is about finished as well

male Human Rogue, brutal scoundrel, Gladiator theme. lvl1

Alright here we go, first concept rogue on the run, like I said, character details are in my profile
