Ahh yes, there it is.

"Bravado: Actions with this trait can grant panache,
depending on the result of the check involved. If you
succeed at the check on a bravado action, you gain
panache, and if you fail (but not critically fail) the check,
you gain panache but only until the end of your next turn.
These effects can be applied even if the action had no other
effect due to a failure or a creature’s immunity."

Thank you. Still better than just not getting it.

Out of curiosity, was it intentional that they removed the word 'successfully' from the Panache feature?

Original text:

"You gain panache by successfully performing the skill check associated with specific actions that have a bit of flair, including Tumble Through and additional actions determined by your swashbuckler's style."

New text:

"You gain panache by performing actions that have the bravado trait."

I'm assuming this was an error and that you still would need to be successful to gain panache, but as worded you just need to perform the action.

The Knight Inheritor's Ring is a slightly up-priced Ring of Protection that specifically states: "At will, the wearer can make himself presentable as if using prestidigitation to clean up his clothing, skin, hair and armor."

Thus, prestidigitation would certainly work for those that can use it.

*edit* I bring up the ring specifically because the spell Prestidigitation itself is pretty darn unclear on what it can do, and it specifically calls out cleaning 'items' and not people.

Good morning!

Couple of questions about the spell 'Instant Weapon'

Quote:

You create a melee weapon sized appropriately for you from opaque force.

You are considered proficient with this weapon, which acts in all ways as a masterwork weapon typical of its type. The instant weapon has hardness 20 and the same number of hit points as a typical weapon of its type. As a force effect, it can strike and damage incorporeal creatures. If the instant weapon leaves your hand at any time, the spell ends at the beginning of your next turn.

The spell says it strikes as a 'force effect' but it's also a melee weapon. Would it be able to damage swarms?
