I've had a drinking problem for quite a while now...

Mostly in that I can't drink fast enough, but still.

A gnome Aasimar might finally be enough to make me overcome my general hatred of gnomes and play one.

Perhaps you just aren't ready for such an awesome race; it's nothing to be ashamed of, not everyone can handle being this fabulous.

More explosives. There is no problem so significant that an "appropriate" amount of explosives cannot "resolve" it.
