Not so long as we each have Challenge Ratings.

Having seen 3 identical gnome avatars sign into this thread, I think there definitely needs to be more love shown to gnomes. There are precious few gnome avatars, aren't there? Though there are also very few Tengu or Nagaji.

Do you know we only have 2 Tengu avatars? And that Nagaji are nearly invisible? Whereas there are five Triaxians -- which will be okay for Starfinder, but... we need more ways to represent our other PFS races on here!

Hmm

Hmm

Let me see. This is one tengu..

Silver Crusade 1/5 5/5

This is another...

This is a 'kenku', but close enough for government work...

Grand Lodge 1/5 5/5

Here's another Kenku, again, close enough for government work...

Sovereign Court 1/5 5/5

This is a raven's head, but works, too?

Liberty's Edge 1/5 5/5

And last but not least I have no idea what this is..

So we do have some *limited* options, at least. Apologize for the pictorial 'spam', as it were?

That's what your avatar is? It has always looked like some sort of humanoid alligator to me.

Definitely a picture of a kenku miniature, but the last two are neither Tengu nor Kenku. And the last one is just plain ugly. We definitely need more Tengu. I believe there may only be one actual Nagaji though there are other serpentine creatures. There are, however, far too many options for Gnomes already :p

Silver Crusade 4/5

I think it's supposed to be some sort of dinosaur. Paleontologists have discovered that many of them actually had feathers, so they weren't just big lizards like we used to think.

The Exchange 4/5

I thought that was one of those buzzard demons.

I wouldn't know. Outta my jurisdiction unless it's dead. Mmm, yes, deeeead...

...No, I'm a completely, abso-fugging-lutely innocent kinda gnome person and did not say that aloud just now.

There are Reaper Bones minis for Tengu and Kitsune coming out before the year is out. I actually pushed for them in the last kickstarter on the basis of "if you were ever thinking about selling these, you should do it while they are legal races in PFS".

Yeah, kitsune minis are hard to come by.

I'm still surprised there haven't been more in the prepainted Pathfinder minis line for the races that are common in PFS. There are no kitsune, wayang, nagaji, or tengu at all in that line. Given the quantity of PFS players, those would have been good minis to include a lot earlier.

Are we still doing the all Gnome party? I want to play a Bard named DePlume.

(Who is now thinking that instead of doing an all-tengu or all kitsune adventure, should do one that is all Gnomes...)

I'd rather an all kitsune adventure, which I'm game for if you run one.

I have nothing against gnomes, I just don't like them all that much. I rate them somewhere just above human, in the neutral zone between love and hate.

Wasn't there and animated film in the real world like this? I think they were garden gnomes though.

There is a really cool Tengu Pirate in the Skull and Shackles set. Jakaw Razorbeak

Murder's Mark of Crows.

The Snowy Foxes of Summer, or Master of the Foxy Fortress?

Hmm

Just so that you all know... I decided to try out the All Tengu Murder's Mark.

I do plan to do a kitsune one later, but I know less about tengu, so I decided to give this a shot for fun.

Hmm

Scarab Sages 4/5

Nice.

Feast of Ravenmoor would also have been acceptable (or an appropriate followup).

Nice. I would love to play a Franklin Richards "Tattletale" Psychic on that time.

...another one to add to the favorites list...Question...is that a threat, a promise, or a feat chain?

on a side note to the late conversation of gnominess, absalom's favorite cheap romance novelist may have just found some interesting source material. An evilish black horse that runs, nay gallops through random threads yelling freedom, engaging in a sparring duel with a dragon, over cheap slightly-alcoholic beverages...while someone leads a troop of mounted archers while humming. Awesomesauce. *scribbles notes* more?

I'm curious....since the others are kinda obvious, as far as race is concerned...What would Mr. Fantastic be? I can't think of any class that gives you extended range above and beyond say a few feats in specific conditions. As far as class...i'm torn between something bardic or perhaps a wizard. Meh. Lemme know how it turns out? I know begining of august my roll20 group wants to make a group of elemental-kin.

Aberrant Sorcerer bloodline

4/5

Or long arm spell on an alchemist or bloodrager.

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Ectoplasmatist gets a reach of 15 with its ecto-lashes and can threaten adjacent squares to boot.

Silver Crusade 4/5

Aberrant bloodline gives bloodragers reach, too. I keep thinking I want to do a gnome with that and a reach weapon, just to have a 3 ft tall PC with 15 ft reach.

And then get Whirlwind Attack. ^_^

Aberrant Sorcerer bloodline

But...considering that aberrant sorcerer's aren't quite known for their necessity for intelligence, and Reed Richards *is* known for his intelligence as much as for his stretching ability...Meh?

That being said, it is a shame you can't combine Aberrant and Sage bloodlines for that character in PFS. I'd totally allow it in a home game.

Talking about Kitsune classes... I have a Planer oracle with the Dark Tapestery Mystery...

Bob Betelgeuse "Hey..... *wave* How ya doin'?"

To make it that much weirder, he has a birthmark of the holy symbol of Desna on his forehead, in blue fur in Kitsune form, as darker colored birthmark in human....

Silver Crusade 3/5

Betelgeuse? Isn't that the name from "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu" the fanatic occult guy who says "you're Sloth". I think he's in episode 15-18?

Silver Crusade 3/5

"Aberrant bloodline gives bloodragers reach, too. I keep thinking I want to do a gnome with that and a reach weapon, just to have a 3 ft tall PC with 15 ft reach."

Can't that 3 ft gnome have 10 reach from the weapon + 15 reach from the Aberrant Sorcerer bloodline + monkey lunge feat can give you another 5 more feat + long arm spell for 5 more feat = 35ft reach and if you use combat patrol you can have 40+ reach for attacks of opportunity. I'm sure there is more ways to increase your range like with enlarge spell, etc. Sounds sick to be able to reach out 35 or more with a reach weapon doesn't it?

Given that he's a Dark Tapestry oracle, I'm guessing he's named after the star. ^_^

Oh no! You people said wrote his name three times!

I was thinking of the star and the undead Exorcist played by Micheal Keaton. I pronounce it "Bet - El - Guys" instead of "Beetle Juice."

Murder's Mark of Crows.

The Snowy Foxes of Summer, or Master of the Foxy Fortress?

Hmm

So I wanted to report on my experiment. Murder's Mark of Crows was a delight from beginning to end. My players formed a family bossed around by Wei Ji's Grandmother Paladin (worshipping Grandmother Crow, of course!) We had feathered hijinks galore, and a lovely diverse group of Tengu investigators who poked their beaks into everything.

Having an all tengu group was interesting in other ways, too. They couldn't blend. All the NPCs in town knew exactly who they were. But it made for a very creative and unusual run through Murder's Mark.

We had so much fun that several members of the group are burning stars to replay Feast of Ravenmoor together after the PFS Gameday closes.

Hmm
