my curse is true then. games that I join later after they start will die quickly. and i never even got to really play at all.
current map
Well I have my opinions on the matter. but I am not the GM, so I will keep them to myself. If I have any vote I would actually vote for the ninja. as it is a pathfinder class and race. and is created with all the same creation rules we had when this started. but whatever you decide I am sure it will be fun.
current map
well my opinions are probably going to sound nit-picky, please don't take it that way. the ninja is the only class I can understand. moonchild? please explain the class? do you have two familiars? I don't understand at all. the last one I would say no too, to evil for my tastes. Also just to warn people, I tend to make neat characters but they tend to prove useless in the long run compared to more optimized characters. so don't expect much heroics from Lang, he most likely just an extra person to take damge from the bad guys on occasion.

Lang give his staff a twirl and takes a defensive stance moving to surround the animated monstrosities. ready action to attack if one comes near him

looks like my curse still lives.... when i join a game, it seems to start dying. maybe my role playing skills are too advanced for this medium of play. Or not...

Lang simply follows along hoping that this find they have will provide some further information concerning his and Imonoth's predicament.
current map
Lang looks toward the departing Takeshi and first there is a smile, soon he is trying to hide his laughter. Come on then Imonoth, we should go and see what he has found, perhaps it is what he is missing
current map
Imonoth feels a much more at ease at the other women, definately more so that around Mamoru. (he is scary) When Takeshi kneels down Imonoth is timid at first then slowly sniffs his hand. at his wirds the fox turns its head as if to blush. the fox responds in common you flatter me, but my heart remains true to my Lang. then as quick as she can she darts behind Lang, embarassed at the fact that she spoke.

Lang faces Sphia and bows. I am honored to meet you depending on Sophia's body language will determine Imonoth's reaction (she is a very jealous fox)

As more people arrive Imonoth recoils a bit seemingly afriad of all the people. She seems a bit "snippy" with the females, similar to a woman guarding her man from other women. Though she does not actually or really threaten. Imonoth is a small female brown fox Lang takes notice and can only laugh. In Senzar:
Relax Imonoth, I don't intend to run off with any of them, nor do you have to fear them stealing me from you
Lang bows to the new faces emerging from the castle doors. Please excuse Imonoth, she seems a bit, Jealous. I am Lang Fei Tong, I am from the Twilight Monastary. I have come here to seek answers, it would seem that my destiny has lead me here.

Lang looks to Mai with a slight look of confusion. I am afraid that my quest is not so grand as to restore a dynasty, at least not yet. My reason for being here is, well, a bit more personal he says the last part with a bit of apprehension, motioning toward the fox hiding behind his feet.

Mai Seori wrote: Seori smiles, glancing sidelong at Onitora. "Sadly, you are right to fear him. I have seen his strength, and he restrains it for no foe. thankfully he only resorts to violence when he thinks I am threatened, or when his honor is seriously offended. I wonder, though: you say you are from the monastery...I lived there until only recently, and I don't recall having met you. Did you depart before I arrived?" Lang lowers his head. I am from the monastery, but I was not one of the monastery. Lang does not look either directly in the eye. I simply helped with the gardening. They did not accept me into their training. You may have seen me around. I lived in a small house in the nearby village, a simple rice farmer. Imonoth is really the last true friend I have. and she will be much more if, what the spirits tell me is in this castle hold true.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause this game to slow down so much. Am I cursed or something?

lang relaxes a bit at Mai's appearance. He bows to her Greetings, Mai, I am Lang Fei Tong of the Twilight Monastery. and this little shy girl here is Imonoth. motioning toward the little fox. your protector has excelled in his duties, I truly was worried that I might not live to see my quest completed. the fox looks around at everyone and starts to cautiously approach Mai, all the while trying to avoid Onitora. sniffing the air as though trying to gather a scent. she looks back to Lang then steps closer to her, sniffing the air.

Mamoru Onitora wrote: "I did not ask who you are. I asked what you are doing here." The big samurai said slowly, not moving or relaxing his weapon and ignoring the little dog. I guess I could ask you the same question, but I doubt it would garner any information in my favor. Lang stays his ground but does take a single step forward. no weapon in hand I came here in search of answers. Answers to questions that I need answered. Questions that, most likely, you would not understand. Not by lack of any intelligence but rather a lack of a need. After a short pause to guage any hostile intent by the Oni. So if you would please, guide me to any companions you be here with so we may learn the answer to your question together If I did manage to piss him off and he does decide to fight Lang is taking a total defensive posture

The fox stops dead in her tracks when she sees the enormous blue skinned samurai standing there. she quickly slinks back behind the monks feet. the monk stoops down [spoiler=in Senzar] its alright Imonoth, I am sure he is only attempting to scare us, he probably isn't really that scary underneath all the armor [spoiler] the monk pets the little fox. then standing he looks at the Oni. and after a few seconds be bows to him. Greetings, I am Lang Fei Tong, of the Twilight Monastary. Lang does not approach closer. but instead tries to gauge the Oni's intent and demeanor sense motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 the fox lets out a half serious snarl, like its trying to appear tougher than she really is fox intimidate: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6

not sure if Lang sees you yet as he is still out in the courtyard, but he is apparently not very stealthy so it is probably obvious he is approaching.

Strolling through the main entrance and crossing the courtyard. a Human of average build and average appearance, dressed in simple yet warm clothing. He walks with a staff and no armor. circling around his feet and darting in various directions is a small fox. The Fox seems to be speaking in a strange language foreign to many even those native to this land. the man responds in the same language. fox, in Senzar:
I can smell something, a strong odor, definitely not a spirit the man in the same language: slow down Imonoth, we don't even know if what you smell is really there, you may still be smelling those Troglodytes we met on the road

actually he let me post the introduction but I have no idea where the party is located or where they have been already. would be silly if I came from an area you haven't explored yet and there was supposed to be an encounter there or something.

ok cool, where on the map you linked is the party? just to give a frame of reference. I want to make the entrance as fluid and believable as possible.

@ Mamoru: I have been duly warned prior to accepting the offer. just a note on my posting schedule, My posting rate drops off significantly on weekends. so do not expect immediate replies then. also I am East coast US time zone. many games tend to get more active after I am in bed. don't know why except different time zones.

Ok all, thanks for being patient...had a very busy day today. but finally got the alias done: |
