Lakritze rushes over to Ronath. Ron? "Ron?"
"Does anyone has a healing potion or healing magic?" Lakritze does not believe her friend dies that easily and can't tell right away if he is still alive. "Is Thade dead or just unconscious? Please check that and i have some binders here should he not be dead." She fishes all of her binders out of her backpack putting them on the groud at her side towards Thade. There are six binders in total.
Kneeling at Ronaths side "Let's take care of him first and then make sure no more surprises are waiting for us here." With a gesture to include the whole outpost "We should be able to get the data for our mission but let's also check all the other rooms we did not enter. Who can say to have seen a hundreds of years old outpost? And i hope there is something to predict weather i don't want to walk through another storm!"
Thanks for not having to roll for attacks. Could drag out this fight for ages.

Looks more protective then your own armour and i can already tell you feel better in that one. Curious if there are more options to customize that kind of armour. I would pick a different colour. *wink*

Advancing into the tiny little corridor between Command Center and the Armory Lakritze peeks into the Command Center hiding her fragile body behind Cletus. She still feels something is not right after that fall in high gravity down that bridge.

Does the group trust the Envoy enough so that i have two of those grenades or not? This round i will shoot my pistol but once i have a clear line of sight towards a grid intersection near an enemy i would like to throw a grenade.

"I don't know how long it takes to adjust armour. I agree we don't have much time. Who knows what, i assume Thade, meant with full strength of his forces. That weapon, can anyone handle that kind of weapon? I know my way around grenades but i am terrible at aiming them right or throwing them far away. Let's use this stuff and Cletus can you tell if this equipment is influenced by the effects of the local athmosphere. If not we can use it instead of our weapons who could be affected like my pistol here and i don't like going up close and personal in combat." She weakly waves her tactical baton to demostrate that. According to the classes 3 out of 5 PCs should be profient with grenades so i am willing to take one screamer and one incendiary grenade. With BAB 0 and STR mod of -1 my character really has a terrible aim... but i only need to roll a 6 or higher to hit with a grenade where i want the grenade to land.
Leaning against a wall with a line of sight to fire inside the Command Center, she makes sure there is enough space for her Dragonkin friend in front of the door. Her pistol in one hand and the baton in the other hand just in case.

Oh yes please always assume we 'Starfinder' everything. My local lodge is using that expression.
Which means looting everything and taking everyting that is not nailed down. It's nailed down? No problem someone has just the tool for it and we take the nail and whatever it was which was nailed down.
At least that's me in general for game characters.

Let us know if you need Perception rolls for starfindering a room. Now i assume we really have everything. But i know the authors love to hide credits and loot behind hidden compartments and a high skill check.

Ronath Initiative is also 8 total because Dragonbond. We are 30 feet or less apart from each other, my character and Ronath... the Axe-User.
What do you mean by disrupted? Healing was done before we entered the Outpost so i am clueless because i also don't recognize that as a conditon keyword.

Base saves for Envoys are Fortitude +0, Reflex +2 and Will +2.
So with all modifiers my saves will go up from
Fortitude Save +0 Reflex Save +4 Will Save +2
to
Fortitude Save +1 Reflex Save +4 Will Save +2.
Because some classes have a bad base save before modifiers sometimes the best save will improve by that ring.
Let's say Reflex is one of the two poor saves or the poor save but the character has a high Dexterity that ring will actually improve the best save for that character.
And we did not do any healing...

Cletus really saved us! Glad we have a good team. Althoug not strong in Ship to Ship combat. Ron, do you think there could be carnivorous plants which are dangerous for us? Who knows how wild everything here did grow.

Mysticism is for Knowledge stuff too and knowing beforehand that lasers will do nothing is gret and some scenarios need Mysticism for stuff to be done otherwise horrible high DC for a more common skill... maybe!
Magic Officer does work in Starship Combat, you just rolled horrible for the entire Starship Combat. With that boon you can do a little bit more for Starship Combat.
I do recall some missions which required at least one Mysticism check and you can't always have a Mystic in the party.

Would be useful to know if any of those gems are magical and i just thought as a Law Officer and Steward she simple knows how a fusion seal looks like... And it's also useful to know that the ring is not credits at the end but magical.
But fusion seals need 24 standard pact hours before they work...

Oh for sure i will get something to avoid falling damage in the future you don't have to tell me. That's MY pain and dignity right now... She feels much better and ignores the pain and keeps on moving. Lakritze for sure does not want to scare her partner anymore. Like always i will not stand in the frontline or at the rear with nobody shielding me. We are a team as always and will work in a bigger unit now.

Standing up, Lakritze moves over to the other end with a sigh she leans against the wall of the ravine and slides slowly down there just sitting there.

First time i see this storm and that bridge doing so much damage. High gravity is difficult for sure.
When i was GM i rolled low gravity and some jumped over the Ravine and i used the map. There is a bottleneck in the middle which prevents characters to move forward even if they made a good check because other characters are standing there...

Why did you double the damage from 2d6 for a low-level tier?
My bad high gravity falling damage is there to kill PCs!
Although i would say double the damage for high gravity is 4d6 instead of 2d6 for 20 feet falling down. Not sure which approach is better.

I don't get it. Are we at half speed or encumbered? My character is not encumbered but should be at half speed for high gravity.

Your doing a great job, Sisyar! Improvise and adapt from moment to moment. Basically point our weapons to the enemy and if possible to the arc who has the lowest shield. In our case nobody took any damage and we don't have a weak arc so far. A low shield from us should point away from the best enemy weapon.

Oh, but that would still be a +1 for Ronath i see and then comes a +1 from the computer of the ship. A +2 including computer is awful, well it's a hybrid system now so not only usable by sentients trained in Mysticism.
So for Ronath a +4 Mysticism for Magic Officer is the highest skill for a Starship Combat role and a +3 in Athletics for Chief Mate is not really great if you need to roll as high as a 13 for a success (for a tier 2 ship like we have) you will not always succeed. But with a +3 you can't fail by 10 or more! Just don't wear the armour so you don't have a armour check penalty.
@Ronath or does the +3 Athletics include the ACP from Golemforged Plating, I? I think it does include the ACP and Lakritze would protest against not wearing armour with enviromental protections in a ship in combat.
As a player a +6 for Chief Mate sounds better.
Lakritze could be a Chief Mate but she is better in other roles for Starship Combat.

Possible that the specifics of that boon are likely that the whole system for that one weapon was changed to only be usable with ranks in Mysticism.
I never saw that boon i only heard about it.
One question do you still have to use your Dexterity modifier or does it now use the Wisdom modifer with that boon for the Gunnery check?

I had a hard time catching up in the initial roleplaying. Therefore very long posts and the on the ship part was cut short on my end. Certainly i had ideas but for the readers sake i did a major cut.

This game does not have a deadline like the Outpost IV games.
I am okay with a slower approach right now and coordinating our roles and abilities because well we don't have a good gunner.
Taking our time for roleplay is also nice but only okay if the whole table has the patience for slowly approaching the encounters of the scenario.

Well Lakritze would also land on a +4 gunnery check with help from the computer (+2 DEX +1 rank in Piloting and +1 from the ship).
Should i switch to Captain and try a Demand? I am better at Diplomacy (+8+1d6) instead of only +8 for Intimidate.
Chief Mate can also use Athletics. And there should be time to remove the armour? So you don't have to include the armour check penalty. Timeframe for Starship Combats rounds is weird. But failed checks for Chief Mate do hurt.
Magic Officer acts in Engineering phase and can boost Inititative, 'Scan' or well i don't think we need to have +5 hexes range for one weapon.
