Kyli chases after the worm, hoping to kill it before it could infect anyone else.
Not waiting for an invitation, Kyli attacked the things as it tried to move past her but she feared she was too hasty in her attack.
Gratified that she finally connected, she came back with a vicious backhanded chop. She was not sure whether or not it was false confidence, but she just that one solid blow made it feel like the tide was turning.
Angered by the elusiveness of her quarry. She growls and follows with a massive overheard chop, eliciting a grunt for her efforts.
Watching her companions swarm the creatures, Kyli felt like she needed to do the same. Moving to an advantageous position, she hefted her axe and then let it fall.
Kyli stood in stunned silence, providing a somber honor guard to Malachi until her attention was ripped away by the sounds of shouted challenges and battle. "An attack!" she thought, too late. She followed the others and positioned herself to enter when she could.
Kyli follows the others out into the street. It seems this simple little guard mission was not going to be so simple after all.
First time for me. They bite a little harder than I thought they would. The pain of her wound was still fresh in her mind.
Thank you. Kyli said to the gift from Kleth in an attempt to be gracious though she was perplexed at his comment. Evidently the mage thinks I need help. It was true, I did put in a poor showing in that last engagement. These thoughts continued to trouble her until they arrived in the village for the evening. Menrozzar nods and says, "We shall do so, Lem. Let us make what arrangements we can. Same order as last night?" That works for me.
Kyli made one last round of the wagons. Once she is sure they are safe-ish, "We are in the clear. Let's get moving." she urged.
Kyli takes one and downs it and watches as her wound continues to mend itself. The enemy was routed but still she was upset that she had taken so much abuse. Next time she would be more careful.
I have a nasty cut that will take some time to heal. She indicates her clothes, red from her own blood.
Seeing that there are no immediate threats, Kyli retreats to the caravan. She was not going to wildly chase the hobs into who knew what.
Bad move not facing me. She roared,feeling slighted by the hob. But with her off speed swing, perhaps the hob was right.
As he enemy fell before her a smile creeped across her face. Such is the fate of those that cross me. As she was eyeing her next foe, she felt her wounds begin to close, someone had worked divine magic on her. I think you. She tosses over her shoulder as she measures up the new threat. But she could tell the momentary distraction would be her efforts undoing this time.
Suddenly Kyli was in a fight for her life. Feeling feint from the loss of blood, she tried a wild slash against the leg of her enemy.

Hefting her axe, Kyli makes a straight line for the closest hob. Her heart was pounding wildly as she angled for position and brought the axe down in a sweeping motion.
Whelp, here we go. she thought. Kyli prepped her axe and was prepared to charge if any bandit foolish to show himself.
Menrozzar grins at the sight of the humanoids and draws forth his flail, leaning forward to tell Lem, "We have company up ahead." Menrozzar seemed to have spot something ahead, What is it?
Kyli listened with interest to the discussion. She knew that fanatics of any background were dangerous and the sooner they got rid of the fabrics, the better. I fear they are already on our tail. We should make haste while we can.
Kyli's interest was piqued at Kleth's mention that the silk had uses other than to gather mud on some dandy. She drew close, And?
Wake me when I am needed. As everyone was calling out times, she a got a little lost.
Kyli looks at Lem incredulously, "Sir, it has been my experience that honesty is usually the best policy. Is this cargo worth a man's life? I hope so. What you carry is your business and guarding you is mine." She wanted to say more but thought better of it at the moment. She would let the others judge this man.
"I will stay with the wagons. Good hunting. Someone needed to so it might as well be her she thought as she laid her axe across her lap.
"Ah, so now we make haste! Well then, to the road we go!" Kyli shoots Gavin a look of "Dont you dare continue down this line of humor." And then, as way of explanation, "There was trouble at the stables. We can talk later but for now, be on your guard.'" She really didnt want to be a drama queen but murder was always a foul way to start business.
Kyli raised an eyebrow at Oryx's behavior and she was looking for something to take her mind off of the murder. "Everything alright? she asks him with a look of concern.
"Sir, I would feel better if you allowed us to accompany you. This may be more than some random act of violence. It may be directed toward you." She warned.
"Let's go." She agreed. "Let the town officials figure out what happened.
Kyli stood when called upon. He was the one paying her bills right now and she would do as she was told.
Kyli had been sitting quietly after she had finished her meal, the chance to do something beside sit around was a welcome distraction. I would be happy to go with you to the gates now.
And a good morning to you too, sir. Kyli visibly blanched as the words tumbled out of her mouth, traits from a lifetime of welcoming guests tot he breakfast table of her parents' inn. She silently berated herself for sounding like a country bumpkin and took her seat. At least I didnt just come out in my small clothes. she silently chided herself.
Until the dawn then. Kyli slide away from the table and sauntered over to bar. She laid a gold piece on it and then made her way to her room for the night. It would be an early start in the morning.
Kyli finishes her drink and waits for the document to add her signature. Looking forward to working for you. she added.
Kyli grabs her tankard before the others finish off the new round, she would leave the talking to those with silver tongues and focus on what she did well in, drinking. I will drink to that! as she raises her mug to Gavin's counter offer.
Half of Kyli's meal was uneaten and pushed to the side, Some inns just did not know how to cook, no matter how fancy they made themselves out to be. Gavin's request for more ale brought her out of her own reverie and she decided to join in the fun, Someone as well heeled as yourself should know that you never proposition a lady without plying her with drink first. Giving the man a wink.
