You do have to be careful to check which edition you're purchasing. But each product page clearly shows the cover, where you can see the PF2 logo. It also is stored using a breadcrumb trail that will specifically say whether it's in the 2nd edition or 1st edition section.

Release date (reading the comments section) will also tell you whether it came out before 2019 or after.

As far as I know, every PF2 product was originally sold as both a physical product and an electronic product.

In some cases, Paizo is sold out of all of the physical product, but is still making the electronic product available, usually in PDF format.

Both versions of the product are sold on the same product page. If you go to the product page where you can buy the Core Rulebook, you'll be able to buy the PDF from that page too.

I've been looking for a while and I couldn't find anywhere on the website a way to buy the Pathfinder 2E core rulebook in digital pdf. I feel like the website doesn't really make it clear to me.

I'm also wondering about what other kinds of books are available in digital PDF for Pathfinder 2E. Is there a Bestiary for 2E, since I heard it's completely different from the first edition. What else is available right now?
