Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

I still here and anxious to continue

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

OCC: Was it not decided to all fly there?

Kozzemo, having spent the voyage mostly with the animals on board or his brother, gets his supplies and Golin'Kurar his Dragonhawk then departs from the ship.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Ooops my apologies for the missed placed post and Dakaal is correct.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo in the meanwhile had been busy getting Golin'Kurar his Dragonhawk settled in and ready for the flight. Additional ariel mounts that could be used in defense were always appreciated on Skyships but they did require a bit of extra work on the riders behalf to get them positioned for flight as did mean bringing them inside the ship and closing the exterior doors.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo had already pack at the guidance of his brother prior to going to the meeting. As his brother's thorough thinking covered if not all then most of the siuations they might encounter. As such once the ship arrives, Kozzemo strides on board and locates the perch for his mount.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

OCC: Do we still have our 4th ??

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

"Go now?"

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

We could possible get another bird from my family for pack transportation however they would need to be compensated for that.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Wow okay I missed that part, thanks Storm Dragon I for some reason got it in my head that we were just going to and retrieving something. Did not realize it involved an actual archaeological dig. I thought more of an Indian Jones go in and get it kind of thing.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

No I think you might have misread that. The airship to point B versus a watership to point B I believe was that discussion as the airship was never going to go past point B and in fact regardless of the mode we chose to get to point B we would still need a different mode to get to point C which while not our destination will be much closer to it. So in fact our destination is point D -- which we can use the flyers to get to without per se needing to stop a point C other than maybe to make a pit stop along the way and depending on the actual distance we might need to make more than one pit stop.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Also its per the GMs direction -- the Airship will only take us to point B and we need to get to point C

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

OCC: I believe we are going by skyship for as far as it will take us but then we are deciding whether to use flight or a ship to get closer to the final destination.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Okay I might be wrong but it sounded like to me that both you (Storm Dragon) and Me'mori were changing the basics of their characters?

Which if wrong would be a good reason to know what characters are still here Dakaal and I (Kozzemo) are both using our character identities to post within this thread so we all know these have not changed but I do not believe there was a PC named Me'mori nor a PC named Storm Dragon. So perhaps this as lended to my confusion.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

OCC: That is assuming the two new PCs are not able to gain a means to fly on their own. For that was one of the potential suggestions.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Yeah with the restructing of the group it might be good to also know who is actually present in this meeting by having our esteemed Professor go about addressing each person individually. I know two of the charaters Kozzemo and his brother but I believe the other two have altered into some other folks causing some character's to become NPCs that are now bowing out of this expedition. That is if we are to keep continuity intact.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Oh wow so Ivo is dramatically morphing then??

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Me'mori tickles your fancy sounds good, but what about a hybrid Minotaur Scholarly Investigator(Empiricist) thus you can also create a bit of both ideas. Further the Scholarly part would tie well into Dakaal

Storm Dragon are we doing anything with your character to create a link or are you set with your character and we figure out that link within the proposed Session Zero. I am okay with ret-conning aspects of what has occurred but equally content with maintaining the current relationship that has already been established as well. Your thoughts?

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Yeah I do not see any issues with Ama as she is described -- seems like she is both studious and adventuresome. Thus a scholar of a sorts within her own right.

Further we will be in a rather wet area so water mastery might prove very useful. Still I would simply play the character that you find the most fun to play as that usually will be the one that will hold the most interest for you in the long run.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Great Me'mori is there anything I might be able to help you with to help you make a better connection with the group even during a Zero Hour situation.

What are your thoughts about your character, what might you like to see in regards to your character within Eberron, what are your asperations for your character?

The more you can supply of what you would like to see, means the more the GM has to work with when it comes to meeting those expectations. Basically a blank slant or a minimal slate usually gets blank or minimal response.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Well I have to admit that I purposefully went about creating a character that had some extra depth with a fellow player and that elevates the enjoyment at least 3 fold perhaps even more. I was also looking forward to interacting with the Ivo that got portrayed thus far because I thought the semi-view that goblins-are-second-class-citizens would be an interesting twist to the game.

However, if you not wanting to build something more 3-dimensional there is really nothing that can be done. I have tried to help you and the other player with doing that but neither of you have chosen to give any feed back. Note while I am not the GM I was working closely with the GM to try and help get the the characters ramped up. Yeah sure there were a few hiccups along the way but we got things going and I was hoping we could get the bits and pieces sorted out and move things forward.

If you are willing to take another stab at it maybe we can get you over the hump and into the flow of the game. I always try as both a player and a GM to make things work as the it is a cooperative effort in story telling and it really needs all its participants participating. ;)

Still if you are definitely signing off, I wish you the best.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Okay but once we finish with the Session Zero can we fast forward through the current situation to get back to where we currently are at -- adjusting of course for anything that would not have occurred due to what takes place in Session Zero?

Or will be doing Session Zero and then starting this adventure completely over?

Also is Me'mori and Storm Dragon in for this, I mean they have not said much of anything since we tried to re-establish the base of what we are doing. Are they even still with us?

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Okay Me'mori and Storm Dragon can we get some feedback from you guys as we are kind operating blind without it.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Its not a matter of being integrated into society but where Dakaal works well with other humanoids I was playing the other side where Kozzemo works well with animals so much so that he tends not to work well with humanoids that are not Goblin as outside the animals Kozzemo's interactions would have been mostly with other Goblins (mostly family) or his brother who he shares a special rapport with.

It is very much like places within many countries where folk that speak the same language gather, they have business and some of them even have elements that serve the common-spoken language for that country, however, there is a sub-group within the community that does not speak the common-language well or at all.

Further due to his strong connection to animals, he tends to think in more simplistic terms. He has also not spent a lot of time speaking other languages so his diction in Human (aka whichever human-language is most common in their region -- and besides why do the humans not learn to speak Goblin -- so yes he has a small beef with Goblins being treated as second class citizen in a world they once ruled -- and let's face it Ivo did kind of push that button).

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Dakaal and Kozzemo have a rapport because we worked at creating one from get go. I have and I am sure Dakaal's player have no issues with helping you all make connections but so far the exchange from what I can tell has been minimal and that makes it really hard from another players point of view to help make connections.

So if either Me'mori or Storm Dragon want to make more solid connections I am sure that Dakaal and Kozzemo are more than willing to help with those. Perhaps Me'mori knows Dakaal and Me'mori knows Storm Dragon as a potential start.

I would extend something to Storm Dragon but I think in-game he is the one that Kozzemo has named "human" aka "defiler" in goblin which would make it difficult for him to have a quality relationship prior to the current situation.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Ghads I hope not I was looking forward to playing this out and would even go forward with what we have as we could bring on some NPCs to help out if needed.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Okay so you not really a half-elf/half-human but a Khoravar in House Lyrandar that has a combined fascination with water, the uncertainity of life, and planar exploration. If I understood things correctly.

Now I understand the fascination with water part but what do mean by:
1) A fascination with the uncertainity of life
2) A fascination with the potential of planar exploration

I am assuming that this combined fascination is what is causing the conundrum of finding oneself.

Also by the focus (or fascination) being on Water as opposed to Air or Water/Air ... I would assume they are more inclined to be a Rainmaker type of individual?

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Okay I can understand that from the Matrix point of view -- but the question is how is this occurring within this reality of things.

Where does you character come from? What race is your character? Why are you thinking that they feel a sense of wrongness about themselves?

There a lot of variables that can go into creating that sense of wrongness but the biggest question is -- aesthetically speaking -- why do you feel or want them to have this sense of wrongness.

The more details you can outline the more connections perhaps I and/or someone else can help you make. Weaving the various stray strands of conceptuallity into a cohesive concept is something I do fairly well but I need so fairly clear strands even if they seem disjointed.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo does not quite understand everything that his brother is talking about but knows if their is something he specifically needs to understand Dakaal will explain it to him, in their own language.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Okay sorry me not understand that -- no understand how to maybe help. Please clarify?

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

So how are you saying your character became bound to this plane -- and more importantly where did they originally come from??

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

And feel free to talk with us we might be able to help with ideas and such and/or help expand those ideas

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo having finally finished with chewing his toe-nails shorter begins slipping his boots back on and says, "Good you prepare," he does a quick point to Ama and goes back to his boot, "he prepare," again another quick point this time to Dakaal, "as one an' he tell me what I need know." He stands up and stomps a bit as he finishes getting his feet back into his boots. Then looks at the others, "Me ready. What next?"

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Great sounds good

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo pauses in his diligent work to mumble to Dakaal "Chaat'oor gaa'taat" Translation: defiler(aka human) less than child

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

OCC: No I think Kozzemo is fine with letting you do all the talking to humanoids he will reserve his talking to you our animals. At least for now ;)

Kozzemo has gone back to working on his toe nails with his teeth. At the derogatory comment about Goblins, he looks up over his toes at Human with narrowed eyes. At the no offense comment Kozzemo snorts and says,"Chaat'oor" Translation: the Goblin word used for human

He goes back to his toes while his brother talks about that metaphysical stuff he has immersed himself into. Something Kozzemo understands but then again does not understand. Sometimes it makes his head swim when Dakaal gets explaining it to him when they exchange thoughts.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Alright well get caught up and give us a post we still be here ;)

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

OCC: Cute ;)

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo pads back over to where his boots are and asks in Goblin, "You got the details for this all covered my brother?"

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo looks up at Professor and his eyes narrow a bit then he leans over the map again and puts a finger on Stormreach saying, "You Sky-ship Stormreach, You Boat" he moves his finger onto Osidian City, "Black City." He then looks up at the Professor smiling and nodding as if to say there I cleared it all up and the Professor now fully understood what Kozzemo was saying.

OCC: Dang cross post can we say just Kozzemo spoke first ;) and his brother clarified

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Kozzemo gets up to get a close look at the map, "Looks like you," he glances to his brother, "can take boat; get real close." He looks up at Professor Klarn, "You pay for boat. With the way Kozzemo said that it was unclear whether he was making a statement or asking a question.

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Content to let his brother deal with the humans since his expertise was with animals, Kozzemo, having removed his boot, busies himself by chewing on his toe nails as they have gotten a bit long of late. He does look up every now and again to see how things are going but ultimately goes back to his business at hand... or foot.

Hobgoblins were not folks that Kozzemo much liked, while they were cousins of a sorts they were always rather domineering and constantly pushing Goblins around to do their dirty work. Heck even the Bugbears, their other cousins of a sort, seemed to treat the Goblins better, not by much but a bit better, than the Hobgoblins did. So nope, Kozzemo did not much care for the Hobgoblins.

After his brother's speech Kozemo pauses and looks up over his toes and asks, "What dis Idol of Ferny look like?"

Male Goblin Hunter-1\Druid-5

Here and ready

Well that and the GM was down and out with the flu or something.

Great so GM EltonJ other than the Goblin Twins what other characters do we have for this campaign of yours?

Okay most of the crunch is in place still finalizing equipment but its mostly the mundane stuff that I need to finish up with.

Okay got this almost done but need to transfer the information from my work sheet to the forum but this is Kozzemo faternal-twin to Dakaal servant to Balinor Sovereign of Horn and Hunt rider of a lesser Dragonhawk.
