Koshon's page

Looks like Koshon and Morelda are only a couple in Eric's drawing pad. It was interesting to play a gregori. Hope I can do so again.

Koshon nods at the wizard and approaches the west door, ear to the entrance, listening to hear beyond it. Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

"Thank you, Mr. St. Cyr", Koshon smiles with a nod. "That will do nicely."

"Well, the further we go in, the darker it is likely to be", Koshon surmised. "I can see in the dark, but I doubt our human companions can. I keep a few torches in such a case. Shall I light one up?" The gregori asks the others.

Suddenly remembering that her apologetics was very much in the singular and that Lorel also got the other half of soaked slipper, Morelda hastily adds in with, "And while I can't really speak for Miss Lorel's own thoughts on the matter, I'm sure that she may possibly feel the same way, Koshon?"

Now the psychic wizard takes full brunt of the gregori's blank stare. "My romantic life notwithstanding, may we progress in our investigation of this wild goose chase. I'll leave to you ladies to decide ownership of the slippers."

"Now I do realize that my seconding of the suggestion in opening up that barred door might have resulted in some ineffectiveness upon my part, somewhat, in helping towards having that door reclosed- at the very least though, we now know that any likelihood of attacks coming from that direction is highly unlikely to occur. So you both have my apologies and thanks in that regards, Koshon and Eric."

"Apology accepted", the gregori answered flatly, then began to look around for other possible 'traps'. Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

The gregori, soaking wet from the ocean waves, stares blankly at the skald's buffonery. "Why are you like this?"

The gregori bends down and holds the pair of sodden slippers between his thumb and forefinger. Koshon then gives one slipper to Morelda, and the other one to Lorel.
"Your spoils", the angelic paragon said in a flat tone.

Reflex save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

Koshon attempts to reclose the door using his body to prop it shut.
Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 NICE!!

Gee WHIZ! Glad things are starting to even out for you.

"I vote we knock it down." Lorel's voice doesn't hide her greed.

"It might not be too far out of our way to give a quick peek to whatever's behind that blocked door. We might not even have to go inside, depending upon what's actually there."

The gregori, seeing the door issue as an impasse, attempts to break the barricade on the door. "Greed is not an attractive look for either of you", Koshon says as he shoots Lorel and Morelda a look.

"So shall we 'brave the door' or let barricaded doors be?" Koshon asked.

Koshon quietly brings his bardiche to bear, nodding to both the human and the duergar, acknowledging his readiness.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Could it mean Gauntlets, as in trials? There are several languages in which "running a gauntlet" is meant as an expression to overcoming a trial, often by combat. Eric offers.

"Hmm. That could be true", Koshon considers. "If so, being alert will be a wise decision from here on out."

"Not I", Koshon states simply.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Koshon gets off the floor, dusting himself off, and looks a little embarrassed with himself.
"Well..that was a dead end." The gregori looked at the nearby corpse. "No offense", the gregori said to the body.

The gregori observes the skald setting the table. "Hmm. I would have thought the table setting would have set off some kind of magical effect." Koshon gets on his hands and knees and crawls under the table. "Maybe..a clue might be under the table."
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Koshon's eyes return to normal as the soulfire fades.
"Well. Let's continue."
The gregori opens the nearest door to see what's on the other side.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Soulfire (Sp): 1d6 ⇒ 4

As before, Koshon retreats another 10 ft.

Koshon's face becomes a mask of concentration, as the gregori channels soufire into the center of the spider swarm.

As a move action, Koshon retreats 10 ft.

The gregori retracts his angelic armor. "Well done, Ms. Lorel."

Koshon generates his celestial armor as a free action and takes a swipe at one of the giant vermin with his reach weapon.

Koshon sighs as he readies himself for combat.
Initative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Thurin hears scurrying underneath the floorboards of this room. Lorel find a piece of paper stuck to the bottom of the desk drawer by a film of mold. The moldering pages shows an X in the middle of some woods, as well as the letters "St. Hs."

The gregori looks over the duergar's shoulder. "St. Hs.? Hmm. Wonder what that could mean?"

Koshon silently points up the stairs to indicate his direction. The gregori attempts to carefully climb the stairs without falling through the steps to a point where by turning around Koshon can see the upper level.

The gregori simply nods at the 'archaeologist', and re-enters the ruin.

Shall we proceed Comrades? Eric asks as he moves further into the wreck.

"Indeed, Mr. St. Cyr." Koshon answers as his transparent angelic armor retreats with the gregori. "Thank you, everyone."

Dmg.: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Round 1
As a immediate action, transparent gold armor manifests on Koshon through the power of his Providence. The gregori wields his oversized weapon against the tiny assailants and misses (likely).

"Damnation!" Koshon curses at the sudden arrival.

Koshon stands with others resolute. "Well, we are here to investigate Roderick's Wreck. And that is what we will do."
The gregori steps forward and takes his first cautious step into the dwelling.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 Really?!

Koshon closely behind the others.

Koshon looks around at the dead bodies grimly, listening to Eric's surprising eloquent argument, and nods with Scott. "Yes, let us away from this place."

Koshon bows before Audrahni, kisses her hand if offered, and leaves with the others.

"Hmm. I guess we should find out who these witnesses are and interview them", Koshon summarizes.

"I would rather investigate Eoderick's Wreck first, but will cede to the popular opinion", Koshon offers.

The gregori gives the 'archeologist' a sideways glance then ignores him and asks, "What the best path toward the cove?"

"I'll have the same." Koshon nods amicably.

"Er..what is on the menu tonight?" Koshon asked his hosts.

The gregori simply bows his head in acceptance of the meal.

Koshon nodded gravely. "It appears this does need to be investigated. I will visit the port-governor's office to let them know of the situation and plan accordingly." Turning to the volunteers, the gregori added, "I would appreciate any assistance in this matter."

"I'm unsure." The gregori stands there unsure of himself. "Please pardon my manners. I'm Koshon, I work as an aide for the Port-Governor's office." Koshon makes a small bow of introduction.

"Just because I don't speak it, does not mean I do know when it is said to me", Koshon said in a a very dry tone. "And yes, I do speak Celestial."
Clearly annoyed, the gregori turns to the others and asks, "Do any of you know what happened?"

Does Koshon know Eric is not threatening him?

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Koshon lowers his brow at the approaching Eric. "Was that Abyssal I heard?"

"Hello, Audrahni. Are you alright?" Looking to the others gathered, Koshon adds, "Is everyone alright?"

Koshon cautiously returns to the Circle Market after walking back from his flight of fright. The gregori notices what appears to be two individuals who stood their ground. A human woman and a druegar?

As Koshon runs away from the scream, the gregori tries to process what he experienced.
Why am I running? It's just a scream! But I feel like Asmodeus himself is after me?!!
