My basic question is: When wielding a 1 handed weapon with 2 hands, can you use feats that require the use of a 2-handed weapon?

The scenario was a game that I recently played in. One of the other players had his earth breaker disarmed and thrown 15 feat away (with the use of great disarm feat). So he quick drew a short sword that he had on his person and declared a full round attack action while wielding the short sword with both hands. He also declared that he was using the feat shield of swings. This caused a bit of a debate because shield of swings only says that it works with 2 handed weapons.

The player's argument was that since he was wielding it with 2 hands then it should work since it is being used as a 2 handed weapon. The DM countered that another feat (furious focus) specially states that it works with a 2 handed weapon or a 1 handed weapon wielded in 2 hands. Since shield of swings doesn't have that extra option then it can't be used in that way. The player eventually relented and didn't use shield of swings. But this does still strike me as a bit wrong as to why furious focus works but not shield of swings. So I wanted to just ask and see what you guys have to say?

And following with the same topic, what about the bastard sword? A character can use a bastard sword two-handed as a martial weapon or 1 handed exotic weapon with a feat. Can you use shield of swings with the bastard sword?

I asked this question over in the ask James Jacob thread and he seemed to be a bit confused so he suggested I come here and ask it. Here is what I asked and the answer that James gave. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have no idea where to ask this and even though I found the question being asked, I can never find an answer. Even just directing me to the right place to ask this would be a great benefit if you don't know the answer.

In the Advance Race Guide, I have a question about seducer. Here it is for ease:

---------------
Seducer (2 RP)
Prerequisites: The race has at least a +2 racial bonus to Charisma.
Benefit: Members of this race add +1 to the saving throw DCs for their spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment school. In addition, members of this race with a Wisdom score of 15 or higher gain the following spell-like ability (the caster level is equal to the user's character level):

1/day—charm person
-----------------

Why do you need 15 Wisdom to have charm person? Shouldn't this be Charisma, especially since you need a +2 racial bonus to charisma to even take this trait for a race.

I would have made it Charisma, since spell-like abilities should ALWAYS be associated with Charisma. Further, seduction is more a Charisma thing than Wisdom thing. Not sure why they chose Wisdom; makes no sense to me, but I wasn't involved in that book's creation so who knows what I might be missing? That said, there are certainly errors waiting for errata in that book (aasimar/tiefling/other planetouched ages come to mind!). Post the question in the rules fourms and FAQ it.

Do the Pistolero and Musket Master archetypes have simple and martial weapon proficiency like a normal gunslinger? Both of these archetypes say that they "ONLY gains proficiency with two-handed or one-handed firearms." So does this imply that they loss proficiency with martial and simple weapons?

Does a person under the effect of invisibility or vanish become visible if they use aid another to give an ally a bonus to AC.
