Scarlet Grey … is a kitsune huntress who … is unusually stealthy in her fox shape I love fox shape. ~The Vixen’s player(…though the Vermilion Vixen is not Kitsune. My original concept for her was, though. Had I known more of the DEX-fighter feats, I might have designed her that way!)
The fox paces back and forth on her hind legs, acting more like a tiny fuzzy person than an animal. The creature critters quite a few words, the gist of which Addy relays to Caledon. Oh, Miss Lane, this is terribly inconvenient! With my wings, I can venture out to where these workers are that Mr. Whitetree spoke of. Would he like to have one or both of his birds accompany me? We will of course need to reactivate my magic, preferably away from the guests, seeing how the transformation is hardly inconspicuous.
The fairy flies into one of the colored puffs. When the smoke clears, there is no fairy. Just a fox in mid-leap, who lands her jump gracefully. From not far above the fox, a tiny doll-dress parachutes its way to the floor.
Kitty hops from Addy's Arms and approaches the man with the banjo. She chitters something, looking the banjo-player in the eyes as she speaks. Addy does not immediately translate, curious to see how the man will react to Kitty's 'words.'
Kitty rubs her side against Cashara's leg. It's more of a domestic cat behavior than a fox behavior, Kitty realizes. But seeing how her true form is a person, she doesn't concern herself with how a fox is 'supposed' to behave.
Kitty leaps off of Addy's shoulder, looks up at Rorx, and says quite a bit. She turns to Sonix and looks up at Cashara at some point in her monologue, then stands on her hind legs like a little furry person, closes her eyes, and chitters softly. She scampers over to Addy and taps the woman's shoe.
Kitty chitters several words, at one point fluffing Addy's red curls and then wagging own her tail. The then jerks an un-opposable thumb at herself, strokes the scarf around Addy's neck and flaps her front paws.
Kitty glares at Addy from her perch on the woman's shoulder. Her tiny paw lightly slaps Addy's cheek.
Kitty chitters words to Addy.
Kitty looks insulted by Addy's remark, and with her front paws clenched and animated, the little animal stands on her front paws and gives her "master" a piece of her mind.
Kitty leaves the bowl at Rorx's feet, then stands on her hind legs. She makes eye-contact with Sonix, along with a human-like voilà gesture with her front paws, then chitters fox sounds to the hedgehog. Back on all fours, she slinks back from the bowl of milk, presumably to make room for Sonix to have the bowl all to himself.
Kitty chitters a few "words" to Addy, then bounds from her shoulder toward the yak's stable.
Still on Addy's extended forearm, Kitty stands on her hind legs, swivels around with her left paw on her hip, points her right claw at Addy, chittering rapidly. It sounds like Cashara's innocent question got Addy in trouble.
The little fox makes some chittering sounds as she shakes Cashara's hand.
Kitty darts up Addy's leg and across the woman's right arm. The fox extends a paw to Cashara.
The fox allows it, though its eyes flicker from Cashara to the living doll, and then lock on a rather fashionably adorned redhead entering the room.
----- A curious fox walks up to Cashara. She seems to be interested in the tiny living doll.
This is Addy's sidekick at Lv.5. For all of Lv.4, she'll take the Lovesick penalty, not realizing the weird walking plant is her dear departed friend. ...also... @ Ska, on second thought, if it's easier for everyone, let's just stick to Golarian deities. Considering I used a Green Faith avatar for my sidekick, I'm thinking it works as Addy's religion. That or Shelyn, or some merging of the two. |
