Kir also listens to the story, frowning a bit but patting the girl's hand if she'll let her. "Thank you for telling us. We'll do our best to find out what's happened."
"Well, that's what we're trying to find out. Did you see what happened?" Kir asks gently, eyes just on the girl's face.
Kir goes to the shellshocked priestess with a gentle expression already on her face. "I'm sorry you had to see that," Its easier for Kir to put out of her mind if she thinks about helping the girl, so its actually a welcome change, to talk to her traumatized though she may be.
"[b]I can talk to her,[/]" Kir offers with a nod, stirring to go find the woman.
Kit startled at the scream, standing up with a confused expression, "Wait, what?" she runs into the room to look, going pale and stumbling backwards at the sight.
Just letting you all know, tomorrow, I'll be getting on a plane to the US. So there will be a huge gap of time where I will most likely not be online. I might check in from Beijing, but I can't guarantee it. Also, I'll be in the states for about a week, and I'm sure I'll have internet at various points, but I'll also be moving stuff and visiting friends, so I might not be available quite as much as I have been. Aside from my day in the Beijing Airport I should manage once a day just the same though!
Kir listens to the story thoughtfully, twirling her fingers into her hair as she listens. She smiles, "Sounds nice," Is what she says though it may not be the nicest story, actually. Then she's quiet for a moment, clearly thinking about it some, when the boys show up. She smiles a bit, "Ah, more stories. We were just bartering those."
Kir laughs, "I'd hardly expect a story without one in return. Or in payment." She says.
Kir shrugs and smiles, "Nice to meet you. We have to admit, we're curious what the story is." Ever forward.
Kir laughs at that, "Oh well, no harm in having some wine at an old goat's expense." She sips hers with a happy smile. Its good. "Actually ... I do wonder though ... Its a little sad if that's all there is to the story, isn't it?"
Kir nods at Kayla, "Agreed." The largish bard seems to be enjoying looking at all the people here regardless of whether they're worth getting up for or not. "But the ones who aren't are kinda funny too." She observes the Venture Captain with her eyebrows raised.
Hmmm. Well. The lusty leopard doesn't much sound like my kinda place. So probably a festival goer myself.
Belatedly, HIMYM ++ - and mature themes okay, kept tasteful! Honestly, after propping Barney references that comes across as a bit insincere. But ah well. :D
Here's Lexi's character, Kir. :) And here's my explanation of her. Kir/Lexi: A rationale of me: I picked bard because I believe I am a performer. Now, while I do a mix of things, including different instruments, teaching (which is a type of performance sometimes) and singing, I'm not particularly specialized at any of them. Still, I know that I have a high Charisma score, for all I'm erratic and sometimes over-energetic. :) Bard is still the best fit for what I do and what I love to do. My abilities fell out where they did because of several things - I'm charismatic, like I said, but a bit of a space cadet without much common sense (wisdom 9). While I'm pretty smart (int 14), I'm kinda lazy about it. Another reason I picked Bard is because I know a lot of small things about a lot of things, rather than a lot about a few, like a Bard. Strength Dex and Con are all at 12 because while I'm not far above average, I am pretty tall and inherited my parent's nordic stock (thus Ulfen), and am fairly strong. I'm not sick often, and I'm pretty coordinated. I gave myself Perform: sing because I am a singer, and even have sung professionally for a little while. I also have craft (books) because I write alot. Not that I make books or book quality material, but its the closest thing I found to a writer. My social skills like bluff and intimidate are good,and technically I should be better at sense motive, but it doesn't work out with the pathfinder rules. :) I gave her a bow because I also do archery (in fact I taught it for a few years). I gave her 'patient optimist' since that is my philosophy when dealing with people I don't like ... and I took World Traveller because I've lived all over the world! (In Thailand at the time of writing). She speaks Tien to represent Thai (not really the same, but close as pathfinder gets), and gnome and skald replace Spanish and Portuguese because I dunno the Golarion equivalents. ;) Other than that, not sure what else to explain! :) |
