The details are vague, but we are told that the diviners of their order determined that a chaotic catastrophe is brewing somewhere in the peaks, and we suspect orcs are involved. Pathfinders, myself included, have come into conflict with Hellknights in the past, but they are still useful allies who share a number of our goals. Helping eliminate the threat will strengthen our alliance and ensure Hellknight aid in the future."

Kintampo thinks back on their briefing by Zarta Dralneen and Sheila Heidmarch and then addresses his fellow Pathfinders

"Our superiors have not put any priority in our dual mission of assisting the Hellknights and investigating the Temple of the Sky. In my opinion civilization is more important than ancient history. Therefore I would prefer to help the Hellknights."

He moves towards Eadie, standing next to her "I agree with my companion. Killing an enemy is one thing, killing someone who has been defeated is another. These orcs are only trying to survive. They are a victim of that Wormcaller and should at least be treated as prisoners. If that is not possible we should let them go."

Touch of fatigue is not on the magus spell list.

Mechanically the point is to get an extra attack. Fluff-wise the point is to mark the opponent as an enemy / branded by the magus.

As far as I know there are no lvl 0 offensive touch spells available to a standard magus.

The important bit here is that I did not want to expend a spell slot.

Casting it to get another attack through spellstrike ;-) Arcane mark is a touch attack, so a magus can use his weapon to deliver it. With spellcombat I get to attack AND cast a spell. If that spell is a touch attack I can use my weapon to deliver it. That effectively gives me two attacks.

I assumed I was not hasted, given that I had already gone of to help the hellknights in round 1. Otherwise a full attack with haste would be the better option.

GM, I only see hellknights at the top of the map, not their targets. Therefore I am taking some liberties here, assuming you will correct anything that is wrong. Please move me to the right place on the map.

Kintampo casts a shocking grasp spell and moves to the biggest threat that is within 30 feet. While he moves one end of the quarterstaff starts to crackle with flames. Within the flames tiny bolts of lightning are crackling. Once he is next to the enemy he brings his staff down!

Power Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18 +2 if he is wearing metal armor or has a metal weapon
Bludgeoning damage: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Kintampo retrieves a wand and uses it on himself. Over the course of the next minute his flesh slowly starts to knits together. Once that is done the garundi man uses two more charges of his wand.

Kintampo moves forward while swinging his staff. He winces as one of the heads of the reddish creature attacks him, even though he knows he has to move forward to be able to attack it. Up close he swings his staff in a mighty arc and lands it right on top of the middle head of his opponent.

Kintampo positions himself at the appointed place, knowing battle is not the time to discuss orders. He quickly twists his wrist and touches himself with the wand that springs from it's wrist sheath. After that he takes the time to put the wand in his waterproof bag and readies himself to attack anything that comes within reach.

At the clearing Kintampo has his staff ready when the Hellknight's appear. He relaxes slightly when the woman starts talking.

"Errr, you do have not much experience with magic, do you? The shield spell is a personal spell. That means it has an effect only on the caster. So if I were to wave my wand at you, it still would only affect me. That's why I asked if you know how to activate it."

Thanks GM for the reminder about the wand. I indeed have a chronicle that allows me to buy a wand with 10 charges for 900. Buying that instead of the potions.

Buying three potions of lesser restoration for 900 total. I know it is more expensive than buying a wand, but we can't divide a wand after the adventure. I already have 2 antitoxins.
