I am afraid I am not very adept at either, but the rope does seem the safer route. ![]() I play a druid in another PFS game, it is a DC 10 to command your animal companion to perform any trick that it knows. if it knows "Attack any Target" then you can command it to attack (DC 10) and it will attack until commanded to do otherwise. but it will only attack the target designated so you only have to make the check again if you want it to change targets. If the companion does not know the trick the it is a DC 25 to get it to perform the task. If Blarg has open trick slots then you can attempt to teach him a new trick at the end of each scenario (you get 1 roll for each rank in handle animal and you can take 10 but not take 20) BTW I really don't like my avatar pic but I couldn't find any other good ones. ![]()
