Late to the party, perhaps, but let's see what the Fates decree, shall we?

Stat: 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Stat: 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Stat: 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Stat: 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Pathbuilder 2 Copy of Khaleros

Pretty much ready, for review, at least. :O

Not sure if it's too late, but if you're already full, please consider this character as a possible back-up in the future?
1/2 Orc Barbarian, Harbor Guard Moonlighter background

The thin guardsman with the spotchy beard cleared his throat before he spoke, obviously nervous. "You know, you COULD sit down on the bench there. No need to stand like that..." The massive figure that stood across the table from him made a sound that was somewhere betwen a darkwood bear and an irritated mountain lion...but the man with grayish-green skin did actually sit. "So, uh, your name again?"

The well muscled half-orc grunted and said simply: "Khal-er-os." The large figure's voice was deep and rough, with a light twinge of an obviously foreign accent, as if the common tongue was a second language.

Nigel Scaldfinger, the interviewing watchman, sighed and asked, "And you think you'd be a good Watchman, because...?"

The oversized man made a face, a single tusk protruding from the left side of his lower lip, "Already AM one." Another grunt.

"You, uh, Are? Whaa, I mean, where...? flumoxed, Nigel blinked several times as Kaleros shifted and then stood.

This time, Khaleros cleared his own throat, and then in clearer Common he said, "Look. Here's how it is. I'm being transfered outta' HarborGuard. 'Got in one too many brawls. It's a shame, too, 'cause I was looking forward ta' maybe buyin' that tavern one day. Anyway, they told me to show up here." The half-orc paused, "SO I'm here. Ain't that good enough for ya'?"

Well, there are certain technicalities and procedures that are required before one can..."

Suddenly Khaleros roared in obvious anger and rage, clenching his upper body revealing even more of his rippling, gray-green muscles. The half-orc's bellows made Nigel flinch and two other watchmen, who had been lounging just outside the door, rushed into the room, hands on their weapons.

And then, as quickly as the yelling started, it was replaced by a deep but loud chuckle. "Don't pay ta' make the big, mean, wildman angry, slim. Especially when he's exactly where he was told ta go by his former commander. So c'mon, officer, just tell me where I bunk so I can put down my pack and get some grub."

The voice was still a baritone and gruff, but now mixed in with a good deal of amusement. Khaleros added a wink, "Well...?"

Doritos and Mt Dew? That used to be our tabletop GM offering.
:D
Seriously, good luck everyone! Such a good batch of characters...

Sad Truth.

I would NOT want to be the one to decide on characters for this. SO MANY good ones...

Good Luck, everyone, and to you too, WWGM.

Tell you what, I honestly haven't completely gotten a handle on the Mythic Paths at this point, but I do see that the Marshall path is linked to CHR, so what the heck. I'm going to adjust the character sheet to be a Child of the Crusade. Won't even have to change his character backstory much.

Edit: Done.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Orcs do not need emotional support or require commentary on their backgrounds.
...most likely because they have bad tempers and some tribes eat critics. Literally.

* grin *

Kaleros' profile now includes his background. A shortened version of it, at least. I'm working on a longer, more detailed one, but this one should do to give you the basics of his character.

Working out the details, including the background but this is the framework "crunch" and will be the alias I use for my Half-Orc Paladin. (Mr. Nevets, here)
