OK, before I get the beat down from everyone, I understand how replays work. That being said, has there been any discussion on allowing players to have some sort of unlimited replay rule for all scenarios, not just the specific re-playable ones? I was thinking along the line of a PC can only play the scenario once but the player, after letting the GM know he/she has played it, can play it again and apply that to another character. Other than meta-gaming (and that is no small thing), what would be the drawback?
Greetings GMs, I run PFS at my LFGS at least twice a month and there is a core group of 6 that have pretty much optimized their characters, which is good, but some of the scenarios are easy due to that optimization - they are breezing through them recently. After the last game they asked for two things, and being a nice GM, I'd like to help them out. 1. Tougher scenarios - they are current on season 7 and 8 so I would like some suggestions for older season scenarios that can be somewhat difficult, level 5 to 9. 2. Are there any scenarios that offer up a race boon? I don't think so but being somewhat new (almost 1 year) I'm not sure. Thanks.
I've been trying to get to the open call page (http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/getInvolved) and I get redirected several times then shows up in my browser: here's my redirect (this flashes 3-4 times) then I get this: You have made too many requests for the same page too quickly. Please wait a minute before trying again. This happens with both Firefox and Chrome.
Can the quest scenario "Honor's Echo" be replayed? I know that there just a few scenarios that can be replayed for credit (Wounded Wisp, Confirmation, Consortium Compact) but in the Honor's Echo quest it states, on page 3, "Honor's Echo can be replayed for credit, but the credit must be applied to a different 1st-level character each time." Is that a mistake or is this new for season 8?
Hey all, I'm trying to find a way to have a blue-tooth headset talk to a blue-tooth speaker for when I GM, especially at conventions. Has anyone looked into this before? Obviously I don't want to blast the sound to overpower the other tables but I also don't want to lose my voice (which I tend to do). I just want to talk at a normal level and have the other players hear it. I do have access to an iPad, iPhone and an android tablet. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I was GM'ing a game last night and there was an encounter with some skeletons. The party, all 1st level, had an alchemist that threw a bomb and hit a skeleton. The damage total was 6 (3 on the die, +3 INT). Does the skeleton take the full damage or does the DR come into effect? Is the bomb considered magic or bludgeoning damage? What kind of damage is a bomb? |
