![]() Hi Guys, These orders should have been combined but were not. I have now received confirmation that the order 3562097 is closed and cannot be combined. I hate to complain about shipping costs again, but we gamers in Australia already get hit hard with postage, so some assistance would be appreciated. ![]()
![]() Hi Guys, I have just got confirmation of this order as shipping but before it got set to shipping, I ordered a few items to be added to the shipment to save on postage (plus adding an additional subscription). Alas, both the additional items and the subscription were not added to the order before it shipped. What gives? ![]()
![]() Hey All, I have been running the Masks of the Living God module for a few weeks now, and the heroes are now in the thick of it. During the process I started to think how effective the Church of Razmir would be at converting the masses to its way of thinking. Here is what I've come up with. Keen to hear your thoughts: Converting to the Church of Razmir The Church of Razmir is one where lies, deception, and out-right brutality and bullying are accepted methods of converting the free citizens of Golarion to the faith of the Living God. The Church often employs methods whereby townsfolk are duped into believing the way of the Mask such as through dubious ceremonies where people are drugged en-mass or through the use of Temples which amount to nothing more than "rehabilitation" and brainwashing camps. When a person is subjected to the type of treatment that is expected from the faithful priests of the Church of Razmir, a person can often break mentally, or in some cases, rebel. For this reason, the Church employs a method whereby a person’s esteem is broken down over a period of days or sometimes weeks, with the aim being that their personality can be “rebuilt” in the image of The Living God.
Description The priest may use their Bluff, Diplomacy or Intimidation skill (depending on their methodology) in order to attempt to convert a target to the ways of the Church of Razmir. The DC for such an attempt is based on the attitude of the target. Priests of the Church of Razmir usually take their time to cultivate relations with people within a settlement before attempting to assimilate them to the ways of the Living God. Razmiran priests are cunning, and normally before an attempt is made, the priests have carefully selected an individual or target group. Treat all attempts in this fashion to be the same as the use of the Diplomacy skill where the target must be made at least Friendly before conversion can commence.

The following modifiers apply to the DC: > Each additional day the character is subjected to indoctrination: +1
Thoughts and additions would be appreciated. ![]()
![]() Morning Guys, I have just updated my latest order and for some reason the order's shipping appears to be excessively high. I have compared it with other orders and none appear to have reach the amount quoted: $71.51 I am happy for it to take longer to reach me (the 10-20 day turn-around) if it means less money on postage (I believe in giving Paizo my hard earned dollars, not UPS). Have there been any increases of late? ![]()
![]() Morning Team! Can you please cancel my subscription of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game as of right now. Its been fun, but we rarely get to play Rise of the Rune Lords as it is. Its a great game, but I'm just not that much of a completist :) Also, please cancel my Pathfinder Cards subscription after Social Combat. ![]()
![]() Afternoon/Morning All, I have been sapped for the moment of creative talent, and am looking for a background (it doesn't need to be an epic) for an NPC who will joining my party (the NPC will be played by a player who's character is prevented from going on this part of the story). Here are the stats: Delshandra Laetanlhûn
The most I have so far is that she has a chip on her shoulder, comes from the lower class, still has honour as such, and is indebted to one of the Speakers in the Nirmathi Council. Any help would be appreciated. ![]()
![]() Hello All, This topic is heavy with spoilers, so is you're a player - BEGONE! But if you're a GM - PLEASE HELP! Carrion Crown Recipe (SPOILERS):
The following items are required for the Carrion Crown: The spirit of the Head Warden, Lyvar Hawkran (Haunting of Harrowstone, Heart of the Wolf-Lord (Broken Moon), Skull Fragments formed into that of a skull (Broken Moon), and the Raven's Head [ Wake of the watcher).
Firstly, is this correct? Second, what does each component do - in the creation of the Carrion Crown? Where can I find this mentioned in the AP. Now my next spoiler: Events in Wake of the Watcher (SPOILERS):
Given that the heroes end up with the Ravens Head at the end of Wake of the Watcher, how can the following sentence from the last book in the Series, Shadows of Gallowspire, be true: "With the components of the Carrion Crown elixir now assembled..."? Did I miss something REALLY important? The PCs in my game have the Ravens Head, and they believe that the Carrion Crown can't be created now that 1/4 of the components are outside of the Whispering Way's reach. Again, PLEASE HELP! ![]()
![]() Hi All, I am currently running the Price of Immortality Trilogy, and the heroes are on their way to Tamran via the Tourndel River. They are about to make a stop along the way at the Three Pines Ford. Three Pines Ford is along the northern (or Lastwall) side of the river. I want a short adventure at the town and for the life of me, can't come up with a short adventure. I need the following:
I've entitled the "episode" as Harbour Master's Bluff Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ![]()

![]() Hi All, I am currently running the Price of Immortality Trilogy for a bunch of relatively new players. I am also using the opportunity to flesh out a campaign using Obsidian Portal so that I can use it as a kind of Guide to Nirmathas. Whilst linking things together, and thinking about potential questions the players might have, I noticed that in the 2nd adventure, Masks of the Living God, it mentions the following positions on the Tamran Council:
Those positions sound great and stick with theme, but what do their positions entail? I have searched far and wide on the net for a point of reference, or even for something made up, but can't seem to find anything. Does anyone have some suggestions of what the Speakers jobs entail? ![]()
![]() Hi Guys, Please cancel the following subscriptions before the October Shipment (if possible): Pathfinder (Comic)

![]() Hi All, I recently ran a session where one of the heroes went looking to disturb a bees nest. Needles to say the Handle Animal role went south, and the swarm attacked. They are only 1st level and there was only one player who was within range of the bees (well right on top of them). I didn't want to kill the player, just have the usual bees running after the character as they make their way to the nearest river. I ran it on the fly (so to speak) with only 1d6 damage and swarm rules. Afterwards I went looking for stats and could find nothing about swarms less than a CR4. This is what I eventually came upw ith: Bee Swarm CR 1
I struggle to get my head around monster creation rules, so any help would be appreciated. ![]()
![]() Hey Guys, I've been a subscriber of the minis line since the beginning and I'm still trying to work out how to get the 20% discount on the purchase of a Builder Series Minis display). The FAQ says: What are Builder Series Minis? Builder Series minis present small themed sets of figures, some repaints and some all-new, at a low price point suitable for amassing armies of minis. They're not part of the Pathfinder Battles subscription, but Pathfinder Battles case subscribers may use their Encounter Pack/Builder Series discount codes on them. The the minis subscription line says: Discount code good for 20% off our price on one Encounter Pack or Builder Series Display per case ordered. How does one get the discount? ![]()

![]() Hi All, I simply love the idea of the card game, bought it from all the feedback and hype and now love it. But I was hoping for something extra like the play mats seen in this video: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/video/32982/pathfinder-adventure-card-game-ris e-of-the-runelor/critical-review-pathfinder-adventure-card-game Help me Paizo. How can I get one or all of the mats for the different characters? ![]()
![]() Hi All, I have now idea where this topic should go, so I'll post it here and hopefully the moderators will work out the rest. I am currently running the Carrion Crown AP and the Price of Immortality Mini AP. Both of which have something to do with Lake Encarthan. Taking a look at the map, one of my players, who knows a thing or two about geography, asked me the question - so which way do the rivers run? This is not something that I can find anywhere! I assumed that all rivers run down to the Lake, but where does the lake run-off go? Normally there would be another river that runs into the sea from there (by real world explanations anyway), but that's not shown on a map anywhere and is not explained away. I thought that there might be an underground funnel into the negative energy plane or something near the Isle of Terror, but nothing! Any assistance Paizo people? ![]()
![]() Hi Guys, I my side cart. I had the following listed: 1x Star Wars—X-Wing: A-Wing Expansion Pack
Could I have these removed please? I'm sure that they haven't been paid for yet, but if they have, I'm happy for store credit. Pretty sure that haven't though. ![]()
![]() Hi All, I'm about to run Crypt of the Everflame for the first time this weekend. I have studied the NPCs and done my research. As has been pointed out elsewhere, there is a shortfall. I wanted to run a short intro scenario and I wanted to share to get your thoughts. My idea involves the lumber guild. Basically the head of the guild has been cutting corners and over using equipment to save having to buy new equipment for the mill and the lumber yard. The adventure starts with the heroes out of town, and they hear a horn sound which normally means either an attack or an emergency. The heroes are the closest and so they rush to the aid of the mill workers. A stack of logs has toppled over and doing a couple of things such as trapping a man under a log, another has cased a dirt mount to cover a small foremans hut with small gaps to breath, etc. Basically the heroes before this find signs of some fey and they foreman must also be aware of it as he blames the fey for the problem claiming sabotage. They heroes then go to find the fey creatures and soon find that they are not responsible. It's then up to the players to prove that the Guild Master is responsible and need to compensate the injured workers. Here's my questions: 1) Any suggestions for what low level fey I could use?
Thanks in advance. ![]()

![]() Hey All! I'm currently running Carrion Crown. One of the heroes is a Pharasmin Cleric. The heroes have made their way to a small village as part of their search. The heroes have gone to speak with a local at the inn (and order a room) who was less that friendly. The heroes intimidated him and he spilled the beans. After the heroes left to go to their room the inn keeper ran out and went to the local sheriff. The sheriff and his two deputies went in and spoke with the heroes and asked them their business. The heroes were again intimidating, in particular the cleric. It ended in a fight as the heroes refused to leave town. The Sherrif was knocked unconscious, and the two deputies fled to get the local priests. While that went on, the heroes hog tied the Sherrif, brought him round and again intimidated him to ask questions. He refused and so while defenceless, the cleric, "in the name of Pharasma" slit the sheriff's throat with his official Pharasmin ceremonial dagger, killing him in cold blood. The sheriff was evil and swore and cursed the heroes but no detection spells were used to detect his alignment. I felt this murderous act was against Pharasma's beliefs and decided to make him and ex-cleric - but I didn't tell the player until he tried to use his powers. In the combat, the cleric went to channel energy and nothing happened. Suddenly I had a player confrontation which resulted in him thinking it wasn't fair. The player packed up his gear and left. Have I got Pharasmin philosophy wrong? ![]()
![]() Hi All, Recently in my campaign one of the heroes passed, and was replaced by another. I normally replace characters at the same level and with the equipment for a character of that level. I am beginning to regret that decision. This is what my player brought to the table and I think it just broken my game: sarasan
Would someone like to offer a suggestion without saying - ummm...no. ![]()
![]() Hi Team Paizo, You guys probably won't be in the office until after PaizoCon, so I thought I might touch base regarding my last order. I've sent some pictures of the latest Pathfinder Adventure Path #71: Rasputin Must Die! (Reign of Winter 5 of 6) (PFRPG) that I received. It was a little worse for wear with two(2) pages being scrunched and torn. It would appear that the printing cut didn't quite take all of the flash sounding the page. I was wondering if its possible to have a replacement? The rest of the order, including the Goblins minis, arrived in perfect condition, and the boxes themselves were undamaged. The damage to the book has occurred either in the printing or the product or in handling when placing it into the box. Cheers. ![]()
![]() Hi All, I'm currently designing a Witch Character based off the above character with a good mix of Michonne from Walking Dead for a Skull and Shackles Game. I'm sure its been done 100 times already, but I've never really designed a witch character, and am a little lost as to what I need to be looking for. Any assistance and suggestions would be great such as spell selection, feats, etc. She's starting at 5th level. I should point out that I would like lots of dealing with, creating and controlling undead to be a central theme. ![]()
![]() Hello All, I recently have been running an adventure and used the Chaos Beast. It has an ability which says this: Corporeal Instability:
Corporeal Instability (Su) Claw—contact (curse); save Fort DC 17; effect amorphous body and 1 Wisdom drain per round (see below); cure 3 consecutive saves. The save DC is Con-based.
A creature cursed with an amorphous body becomes a spongy, shapeless mass. Unless the victim manages to control the effect (see below), its shape constantly melts, flows, writhes, and boils. An affected creature is unable to hold or use any item. Clothing, armor, helmets, and rings become useless. Large items worn or carried—armor, backpacks, even shirts—hamper more than help, reducing the victim's Dexterity score by 4. Speed is reduced to 10 feet or one-quarter normal, whichever is less. The victim gains the amorphous quality, but cannot cast spells or use magic items, and it attacks blindly, unable to distinguish friend from foe (–4 penalty on attack rolls and a 50% miss chance, regardless of the attack roll). A victim can temporarily regain its own shape by taking a standard action to attempt a DC 15 Will save (this check DC does not vary for a chaos beast with different Hit Dice or ability scores). A success reestablishes the creature's normal form for 1 minute. Spells that change the victim's shape (such as alter self, beast shape, elemental body, and polymorph) do not remove the curse, but hold the creature in a stable form (which might not be its own form, depending on the spell) and prevent additional Wisdom drain for the duration of the spell; shapechange and stoneskin have a similar effect. The victim takes 1 point of Wisdom drain from mental shock every round that it ends its turn in an amorphous shape—upon being drained to 1 Wisdom, further Wisdom drain ceases and the amorphous body effect is permanent until removed via magic (no further number of saving throws can cure the condition at this time). [/i] Now I know that Poison works in the way where for each time you are affected by the same poison, the DC of the save increases by +2. However, how does this work with Curses? Do they just have to make one save? Or do they have to save for each time they are hit (i.e. if hit 3 times, do they continue to make 3 saves until that saves). ![]()
![]() Hello All, An interesting issue came up the other night during our session when an NPC was stuck in a hallway between 2 players. The NPC, who was a Wizard and wanted to get away. The hallway was blocked and the NPC had an Invisibility spell to cast. On one side was a rather large Barbarian. The other, a much smaller female sorcerer. The NPC though about barging but was an elderly man himself, but thought it best to try slipping past the sorcerer. The NPC cast defensively, and turned invisible. Now the PCs knew the NPC was there, and I was not sure how to run it. This is what I did: The NPC, having cast the spell, had to make a Combat Maneuver check against the CMD of the sorcerer, but as the sorcerer couldn't see him (and basing it on the fact that when a character with invisibility attacks someone, the target is denied their dexterity), used the CMD minus the PCs DEX bonus. Failure meant the NPC stopped moving, and it was back to 50% miss chance from the PCs. Thoughts, or did I botch it? ![]()

![]() Hey All, Under the description of Ardeal (specifically under the section about Langitheath), it has the following paragraph: "Some travelers tell stories of passing near the estate and seeing small figures capering amid the fields, or of encountering strange children with eyes as cold and blue as flax flowers." Anyone have any suggestions what these might be? ![]()
![]() Hey All, I am currently running Carrion Crown, and as a side quest, my players had set down in a small village where the populace are the happiest people in the land. Their harvests are bountiful, the town prospers, and all is good in the world. But the townsfolk are paying homage to something evil which is providing them with what they need. But at what price? The heroes are of 8th level, and I am looking for a creature that could hold the town to ransom, and yet also provide for their needs (i.e. allow crops to flourish all year round. Anything be great, and it should be equally creepy to fit with the whole horror theme of Carrion Crown. Cheers in advance. ![]()
![]() One of my players has a sorcerer of mix bloodlines namely Draconic and Elemental. He wants to find an ability, feat or class feature, that allows his character to change a spell of an element subtype into another specific sub-type (namely cold). There is obviously a feat that allows you to change some damage spells to that of a specific element, but he already has that, and wants to move all spells with the elemental sub-type to that of cold. Any suggestions?
