Jonis shakes her head.
"We don't have one... people, please, do any of you have a good map of the area we can see?"

"A map?"
Jonis seems at a loss for a second. Then she smiles.
"Oh, from this area. Let me see..."
Do we have a map?

Jonis looks at his eyes and smiles sweetly at the man.
"It is ok, thank you for trying."

Jonis closes, smiles to him, and grabs his hand.
"I guess it was horrible. I wouldn't want to remember too. But, if we are to free your town from this evil, we need your help. What can you tell us?"

Jonis answers the man.
"Is any of those who came back around, so we can ask them for help?"

Ruperta smiles sadly.
"Just the ones that came here, and just for tonight. But we plan to go looking for the source of this evil. Can you help us? Do you know were they came from?"

Jonis waits for the stranger to leave, and then uses her Glitter Girl to make a funeral pyre and cremate the humans, without saying a word.

Joni's nods at Shakti's suggestion, and walks away a tear on her cheek.
She ignores the man, still shocked.

"Can we restrain these innocents so they can't harm others or themselves until we free them?"

Jonis will have issues with the group killing "innocent victims", as she sees it. Can they be restrained?

You can't see Jonis worried face, but you can hear her voice.
"But... but... we can't just kill innocents!"

Jonis gasps!
"We can't kill them! They are innocent victims! We have to free them. Let's bound them and see if they are free..."

The Glitter Girl makes a "thumbs up" pose.
"Excellent Shakti!"

Jonis will try the "grab and shake" tactic again.

Can't see the map right now... Can Jonis try and grab one or two vampires?
"Try not to hurt the humans! They are being controlled by these demons!"

Jonis hears the commotion and starts powering up her Glitter Girl.

Jonis, her Glitter Girl Powered off, doesn't see anything, I fathom.
She keeps in wait, fantasizing about... that is not your business.

Jonis plan: She sets up a "dummy" sleeping near the fire pit, with her clothes and sleeping bag, with her Glitter Girl next to her. In reality, she is inside the powered off Glitter Girl, in waiting. The others set up similar dummies, but are hiding up around the fire pit area. When whatever kidnaps the people goes for the Jonis dummy, they attack from all sides, with Jonis attacking from inside. Sounds good?

Jonis grabs Auriel's arm and hugs on it, a smile on her lips and a shine to her eyes.
"It is only polite."

Jonis thanks the townsfolk.
"Fight or Flight." - she tells the others - "I vote for helping the townspeople, and stays to face whatever is praying on them."
She shows a charming smile.
"If they come at night to take people, maybe we can set an ambush up."

"Not sure, but it seems this place is about to close, and we will need accommodations."
She asks around for a place to stay the night.

Jonis looks at the others, unsure what to do next.

Jonis let out a little scream, scared, turns to look at Auriel and gives him a small pat on his chest, a smile on her lips and a gleam in her eyes.
"You scared me silly!"
She looks around.
"Seems there is a plague going on on town, we should be careful not to get sick."

Missing?

Jonis plays with the food, and tell Shakti, in a low voice.
"I wouldn't eat it if I were you. Plague? Thanks, but no thanks."
Jonis looks at the person leaving after warning them, and thank him/her mentally.
"Shakti, I think we should find the others, as soon as possible."
She stands, ready to leave.

"I am sorry to hear that, and I hope we can help somehow. Thank you for your hospitality. Shakti, care to join? Let's go for something to eat."

Jonis looks at the fire surprised, trying, not to blatantly, to show them she is not menacing, or scared.
"Oh. What is the fire for then?"
She will get between them, and shake some hands, if able.
"We came with a couple errands, looking for some people that are supposed to be around, and delivering some information to them. And well, I always like to make some new friends in my travels."

Jonis answers Burgurk.
"Good idea. I will talk to the locals in between."
She descends from the Glitter Girl, and puts her charm to work.
"Good afternoon! My name is Jonis Witta, and I am a Cyber Girl pilot member of the Tomorrow Legion. My companions are members of the legion too, and we come in peace. What are you cooking? It smells great! I hope we get invited to eat here! Maybe we can get something to add to the meal, as my mother always told me it was unpolite to go to a party and don't bring anything for the hosts!"

Jonis blushes a deep crimson, as her hair.
"Thanks!"

"That is convenient."

Jonis seems almost angry at the men.
"Splynn Markets? I fear I will rescind my offer of friendship... Chaz, you don't seem like a... like them." - she signals at the others, mostly at the leader of the WarHounds - "If you ever want to step over to the good guys, call me. Until then, I will not call any of you a friend of mine."
She turns and leaves, not waiting for the others or taking the data chip.

"If afraid we are not really interested in the Warhounds per se, but now that I got to know you I am glad we have opened a communication channel. We need to stand together for the good of the people, and that will only happen if we all work together. Please count me, well, us..." - she winks at him - "...as your friends from now on. But we really come for information about a Tomorrow Legion member that used to travel with you, the Cyberknight Captain Alana Grayspear."
She stops to see which reaction that names causes on Chaz.

Jonis tries to make small talk, make him at ease, and finally learn everything she can about the WarHounds.

"I do."

Jonis takes the locket and looks at the picture.
"She is very pretty. You are a lucky one."
She is sincere in what she says.
"Of course we will help you. And I am sorry your kingdom doesn't value for what you are, even if you are loyal to it. If you ever have the need, the Tomorrow Legion will accept you, and it will accept your family. With the bonus, we wouldn't ask you to move against Whykin. Can we talk to the WarHounds so we can go to Pux as soon as possible?"

Jonis smiles.
"That would be perfectly acceptable. Thank you."

She noticed it!

Jonis winces a little at Shakti's outburst.

Jonis makes a sad face.
"I'm afraid we don't have that kind of credits on us. We don't charge for defending humanity from the monsters from the rifts, you know? And the Coalition don't trade with us. It is hard for us, sometimes, to have enough money for food and gas, not to talk about repairs. And this one - she points at Burgurk - insists we donate part of the money to window and orphans, and I am unable to argue with that. I think between us all we can gather some 2,000 credits, and I would be thankful for you to take those to the next of kind of those hurt in the fight. And I thank you for your help contacting the Warhounds. The faster we talk to them, the faster we can continue in our way."

Jonis smiles to the man.
"My name is Jonis Witta, and these are my comrades Shakti, Auriel Acherean and Burgurk. After the guards stopped us from entering the city they were nice enough to let us camp outside of the walls, even assigning us a spot. Some hooligans then came and assaulted me... and well, even if I tried to avoid hurting them, collateral damage happened. Good thing your guards arrived and helped me finish the fight. Please express them my thanks. As for our sniffing, we really came looking for a Mercenary group called the WarHounds. We are looking for an old associate of them. After that, we will depart from your nice Kingdom. I don't want to impose, but, can you help us contact them?"

Jonis looks around, wondering why no one has shown up.

Jonis chuckles.
"I don't think he will bring him... but we can always ask! These people seem nice so far."
She winks at the others.

Jonis makes a point of standing tall close to Burgurk and Shakti.
Once in the room, she smiles widely.
"Well, we got in!"

Jonis, her railgun still in the upright position, answers.
"My name is Jonis Witta, Cyber-Girl pilot member of the Tomorrow Legion, not deviant. I was attacked by this goons, and I defended myself, trying not to kill them if possible, as you can see."
She waves the grappled goon, showing it to the guards, somewhat forcefully and trying to shake him enough to keep him quiet.
"I want to accuse them of assault on my person. I want THEM charged and jailed. I ask for the kingdom's justice and protection."
She steps down from the Glitter Girl, to show them she is human.
"I knew the Whykin Kingdom was a safe and lawful place, with a wise and brave king. I know you will do the correct thing, helping a damsel from this goons."

Hilde raises her arm putting the grappled man outside the range of Shakti's "helpers".
"Whoa! Guys! He is under control, no need to attack him! Shakti? Some help here?"

Issue: Jonis won't allow the grappled man to be attacked or harmed. He is defenseless, and she can't allow it.
When they approached looking for a problem, they were fair game. The dead leader, yes, no problem there. But an alive defenseless person, no way.

Jonis tries very hard to maintain the grip on the goon without squishing him like a ripe grape.
"Maybe it would be best if you let me do the taking. Auriel, do you mind taking a couple steps back?"
After Auriel moves away, she will "accidentally" step on the dead goon leader, and activate her pylon system on his remains.
"Oops!"
