Punctuating his words, Vaelos lets out a visceral cry - though most likely in protest of his soaked feathers, than any words the groundlings mutter.

What about that Heal scroll? It sounds handy, but maybe we're covered in that department?

Reading up on the Manual of Quickness of Action +2, It seems like a keeper. My max dex in mithral chain is already reached though, so I would have to find new gear in order to benefit. Jayse, would this benefit you?

Prior to my post, I didn't see anyone in melee, but the penalty for shooting into melee is indeed a -4, except when the target is two or more size categories larger, making it -2.

A few choice curses run through Jofram's mind, as his allies fly between his arrowhead and dragonflesh.

With the call from Straehan, the ranger changes tactics. He lets out a sharp whistle to Vaelos, then runs toward his gathering friends, he plants his feet and skids through the dust, managing a single shot at the wyrmkind. He slides to a stop next to Jayse and the gnome.

With a sigh, the ranger whispers again. "Short-round!" Almost smugly, the bird takes flight, arcing through the air and swooping down to the mage, delivering a small gift of healing energy.

Across the room, a familiar song echoes off of the darkened walls, bolstering the heroes with confidence and determination.
