With a wave of her hand, Jocasta agrees, "Oh, sure, camp security an' all that, I get it. Naaw, it ain't far - and we always carry one o' these with us," she says, fishing in her belt pouch and producing a set of brass knuckles. Sticking her hand out, first to Christian, then to Azrael, she says, "Glad I could say 'hi'. See ya later!!" And, working her fingers through the loops in the brass knuckles, she clasps her hands behind her and strolls out the gate, whistling.

In the Camp of the Restov Coursers:
The half-orc female gives Christian a roguish smile as he bends, kisses her hand, and calls her 'Lady'. "I ain't no lady, I wrangle horses for a livin'."

Christian laughs a bit He does does he?? I like to think that I am anything but quick and I tend to prefer my hands to be doing other things besides punching.

The young woman's green-tinged skin darkens as she blushes, catching exactly what Christian is meaning to say. She looks to be about to say something - there's very clearly eager interest in her expression - but then Azrael actually approaches.

As Azrael approaches christian will introduce the two.

Azrael may I please introduce you to the Lovely Lady Jocasta. She is the younger sister of the esteemed Coalhouse Porter contingent. Lady Jocasta this is Azrael, also know as Azrael the Avenger.

Jocasta says Azrael's name right along with Christian, sticking her hand out in a very workmanlike (and altogether NOT ladylike) manner. "Pleased ta meetcha," she beams.

Azrael the Avenger wrote:
Azrael, with a large golden dog at his side, greets Jocasta with a wide friendly smile when they are introduced. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Jocasta. Your brother's exploits are well-known in Restov of course. This is Corwin, my.. .companion." he says, introducing the dog who steps forward to have his head scratched. "I am so pleased you dropped by today... Is there special reason for your visit, or are you just being neighborly?"

Dogs need greeting properly; Jocasta first offers Corwin the back of her hand to investigate, and upon approval from the canine goes down to one knee to give him a good scritching behind the head, ears, and under the chin. She clearly knows all the best places to get a dog's approval. "Big," she comments. "Blonde Mastiff? He trained for hunting? No, probably guard and combat work, isn't he." Giving the dog a final scruff along the ear, she stands back up.

"Special reason - oh, yeah. Coalhouse wanted me to come over, talk to y'all about future stuff - keepin' roads safe, though," and here she goes sort of stream-of-consciousness, "I'd think that's what Aly went to talk to the Hospitallers about. But anyways," she snaps back to the two of you, "about thinkin' about that for the future, not just guardwork but also goin' out and deliberately dealin' with bandits, and of course hoping that y'all keep the Bas-- Uh, I mean, the Businessmen, International Businessmen, keep us in mind if'n'when y'all need help with major movin' of things - I mean, after this trip an' we're done movin' this king guy."

She gives a little swing of her fist in front of her torso. "Professional transport people, that's us, an' all. 'Specially him 'n' Alysandra if'n'when y'all need someone who c'n go inta places and suchlike, carry a lot an' take care of themselves in a fight. Me, I'd ... I mean, I gotta admit, I'd mostly be good takin' care of horses an' the like, nowheres near as good keepin' my skin safe like Coal an' Aly are."

Lord Christian D'Elagante wrote:
after some polite chit chat the two men will retire to their camp to talk of private matters. Begging Jocasta to forgive them.

"Oh, sure, sure - Coal's prob'ly gettin' ready for it too. He hates 'em, but he prob'ly gets along with y'all just fine. Lissen, you mind if I hang out here for a whiles? I kinda always wanted to work with you guys ..." And the way her eyes linger on Christian perhaps suggests that if she hangs out here long enough, she'll still be here when he gets back from the party, and ... then they can test that 'not-quick not-punching' thing he was talking about.

I'm going to start using spoilers for different locations. I think it'll keep things a bit more coherent.

At the Camp of the Restov Coursers:
"No," comes a voice from beyond the camp's 'gate', "but there's a few of us." A half-orc female - different, if you know what you're looking for, and if you do know what you're looking for in this case, with a definite, strong 'family resemblance' to Coalhouse - approaches the gate. "He's a pain in the @ss," says the young woman, "but he gets the job done, and that's what counts, right? Hi, I'm Jocasta - Jocasta Crunch. Coalhouse is my older brother." She walks right between the guards on duty (if they allow it) and sticks her hand out at Christian. "And you're Christian the Elegant. Coalhouse said you were quick with a punch, but you lacked in follow-through on it. I said that with two feet of steel on the end of a staff, you didn't NEED to be able to break bones with your fist.

"It is SUCH an honor to meet you. Is that Azrael the Avenger over there?? Can I meet him too??" Seems the young woman - though she looks like she's only just become a young woman - has more than a little case of hero-worship when it comes to the Restov Coursers!!
