About Jingjing

Jingjing is a surprisingly beautiful half-orc, the daughter of a Tian human sea captain and an orc sorceress. She is most known for wanting to free a special shipment of 48 children from the slavepits of Absolom, spoils of war during an Andoran/Chelix border skirmish. It really bothered her that children so young would be sold into such a harsh life. Legally, there was nothing she could do, and on a monk's salary she could not buy them. So, she walked onto the slave platform, undid her robe, and stood in all her glory before the hooting crowd. She offered herself in exchange for the childrens' freedom, knowing that the more lurid-minded buyers in the crowd would offer a much higher price for such a beauty than all the children combined could fetch. She suffered unspeakable indignities and tortures at the hands of some rather perverted and sadistic owners, until one day she was rescued during an Andoran anti-slave raid and brought back to Absolom. While rejoicing with the other freed slaves, Jingjing slowly slipped away, and surrendered herself to Chelish representatives of the Pathfinder Society. Though the children were still safe (and a few grown by now), and her latest master's severed head was on a spike in a rather bloodthirsty Andoran's trophy room, Jingjing had given her word to never run away no matter how ill she was treated. Over the objections of the aghast Silver Crusade and Andoran PFS delegations, she insisted that if there were to ever again be anyone brave enough to rescue children in the manner that she did, they would not be taken seriously if she set a precedence by escaping at the first opportunity. Eventually a compromise was made: Clearly, she could serve Chelax much better as a Monk forced to fight for their faction, rather than a mere piece of meat to be used and whipped. Upon reaching level two [when you finalize any changes you've made to your level one] she will be allowed to be a paladin or sorceress for the Silver Crusade. But for now, she is technically still the property of Chelax, and will further their cause no matter how much it disgusts her.
