So looking through the AA2 I noticed Trox have a lot of abilities. A lot more than other races compared. Now I think they are really cool. But did they really need the bonus to skills? I think everything is solid up until that. They easliy could have been left out. Maybe even the swift feat. Maybe it’s just me. Thinking out loud here.
Just googled Vlaka to see if there was anymore writings about them and got "Vlaka-Greek word for stupid/idiot male." Huh... Hahaha. I guess you can't know what every word means in every language. Just thought it was funny.
After reading this on p.87 it doesn't say anything about not provoking an attack of with your pistol if you are in melee range. Just checking, does it give you a pass or do you need something like Slippery Shooter (Feat) or uncanny shooter (Operative)? I am thinking no but that kind of blows if it doesn't.
Just wondering, what does the FAQ button on the forums? Do they go to an inbox somewhere? I know I have pushed it for a bunch of really good questions and I haven't seen a response. I don't see the FAQ updated often. Just wondering if I am doing it wrong.
Ignoring "Glean Spell" does anyone else find it strange that Mystics can't learn fly? I get the Druid/Wizard vibe but they can control gravity. If they can control gravity you think they would be able to learn fly. I just find it weird. Maybe it's just me.
I got the alien archive and I understand the most of the book was for new creatures and aliens (wish there was more of course). Giving you the tools to convert already existing monsters is nice but I mainly want to see updated races in cool sci-fi gear. But this led me into a "shower-thought". Assuming lycanthropy is a virus and virus's tend to be a thing science tries to cure... is Lycanthropy cured in Starfinder? I would like to hope that vampires and werewolves are still a thing because they are cool. Classic monsters. But what are your thoughts?
Anyone have any ideas for making a chakram like in Dark Sector? Or even the predator disk? Something smaller that grows and can be thrown.
Is there a page that describes unarmed damage for cybernetic arms? The concept I am going for would be Genos from "one punch man". He'd be a fast moving unarmed fighter that jump packs around the field. Anyone see this around the book or is it just using the battle glove?
Thoughts on using this feat with a Solarblade?

Hey all, I tried to find info on the LaShunta in Starfinder but I can't. Found a thread where the devs said it will probably be different from the one in Pathfinder. Wondering if anyone has seen info or are we still waiting on the preview?
After reading the computers post I am really excited for the Technomancer. What do you think some of the abilities and spells might be? Bricking computers, weapons, armor and maybe even Ships? Maybe the can make equipment explode? Buff or rebuff item. What do you guys think?
So I have thought about what the androids might come with in the core book. Not really into the Data style (Star Trek) android but I do like the Canti style (from FLCL) or Prince Robot IV (from Saga). Or even like Chappie. Has there been discussion about alternate types?
My wife hates rats. AKA she has looked at the ysoki and already doesn't like them. Anyone else have this problem. Before the game is release already leaving them out or rehashing them. |
