The woman stiffens. Her already old eyes grow even milkier, and a voice that scuttles like a spider, says in a language you understand: I know that four eyes have gazed upon you and their servant sees you out. You would do well to avoid him.

She shakes her head, sits up a little straighter and looks to Urol, prompting him to continue the conversation.

Urol ask her what she meant by "four eyes"

damage=10 wow maxed out.

Rapid reload let's me shoot again next round.

M Human Fighter 6

Init rolled 3+7=10

Put away sword, ready crossbow.
Crank and load.
Aim.

By that time, they should be in range.

M Human Fighter 6

I go later, but I remembered to post now.

usual split with power attack with sword.

1st attack rolled 7 +13=20 to hit
Damage rolled 5 +11 = 16 damage

2nd attack rolled 7 +5= 12 to hit
Damage rolled 9 +11= 20 damage

I'm not sure what the growth spell does to these, I added the bless to the to hit rolls.

Spot Check on the things in the water 1d20=20 +7 on spot.
ooc, wow, I didn't expect to get a 20 again.

"Healer, I glad you decided to go to the ship with me. Tell me more about this Whirling Fury of yours. I don't recall hearing of her before."

After listening to Teaglin.

"Can you heal a broken ship?"
"Can you create food and water? I've seen other clerics do that before. If you can not, we may have to go inland for water and food."

As we get closer, "I want to look for survivors first. Tend to the wounded. I have helped to build a ship before, if her keel is broken, then we are done for. If her keel is still sound, we might be able to salvage the Wyvern. I wonder if any of the trees in that jungle will be useful."

ooc, How long will taking a 20 to search the ship for survivors take?

Help Teaglin get the long boat into the water, and send him off.
"Yes, go get the others, more eyes and hands will help."

How long will taking 20 to evaluate the ship take? I have +4 to ship building Craft.
Are we at high tide or low tide? If it's low tide, when it is high tide I want to pull the ship closer to shore.
I've lost my sense of time, what time of day is it now?

After that, I start searching the ship for useful mundane items, might as well take 20 on that also.
I'm looking for armor, heavy crossbow, bolts, food, scabbard for the great sword, spears, clothes, standard gear, backpack, sunrods, tindertwigs, everburning torches, boots, lanterns, oil, tools.

M Human Fighter 6

I thought most of the ship was on the shore with us for some reason.

Ok, nothing useful expect the tent.

I was also hoping for rope and larger pieces of wood to make a raft out of. Since, there isn't and you said better luck on the ship.

I'm swimming for the ship as full actions.

If I'm attacked in the water, I guess I keep swimming, since I can't fight in the water.

As he is swimming, Jas wonders, "What does 'You have made of this heroes!' mean?" But decides, if he didn't like Avner before, Jas doesn't like him now.

I swim for the part of the ship that had the row boat on it, or the part that's easiest to get out of the water at.

Starting a fire and burning the corpses is acceptable also.

Is BBQ T-rex edible?

I start yelling out orders and/or suggestions for the survivors.

"It'll be a good idea to start a fire, it'll keep wild animals away."
"Let's start a funeral pyre for the dead."
"Take the clothes off the dead, we might need the fabric to make a new sail later."

"I think we can eat this giant lizard after we cook it some. Is anyone a butcher, or know how to cook?"

"Let's sort out the larger pieces of wood from the ship. Small pieces can go into the fire."

I start doing the work, if the survivors help, great. If not, so be it.

M Human Fighter 6

ok,

I redid the math for skill points for a 6th level human fighter.
adjusted for my new strength score.

made sure I'm paying x2 for cross class skills.

I think everything is correct finally.

Best picture I could find of a human fighter using a great sword. :))

M Human Fighter 6

After seeing that the dwarf is in the care of the cleric.
Jas cleans the gore off himself in the sea.

Mutters to himself, "Here is blood from my enemy, I offer to the gods of the seas."

After this little ritual, Jas looks for a shovel, or a piece of wood to use as a shovel.

Jas returns to where he found the sword, and where he dropped Jaden's harpoon.

1-I want to return the loaned harpoon back to Jaden, but I don't want to forget where I found the sword.

2-Keep a wary eye on the creature that came out of the T-rex, if it doesn't attack me, I leave it alone.

3-I want to dig a little in the sand to see if any more equipment from the fighter who had this sword before is in the sand.

4-Return the harpoon to Jaden, "Thank you for the use of your fine harpoon."

5- Later, from the wreckage, I'm looking for armor, heavy crossbow, bolts, food, scabbard for the great sword, spears, clothes, standard gear, backpack, sunrods, tindertwigs, everburning torches, boots in no paticular order. I try things on, if it fits I keep it. If anyone objects, I say, "They are dead, they have no use for it."

6- After the I have my gear. Help the cleric bury the dead, I want to make sure the corpses can't be used to make undead.

M Human Fighter 6

cool,

I figured out how to fix my picture.
Also found out I didn't need to spend so many points on languages. :P

I'll be adding a skill soon.

M Human Fighter 6

I think I posted to many times for me to change the picture. I may have to create a new alias.

I was wondering about doing max damage to break things, by shifting my max power attack. The rolls for butchering the t-rex answers that question, thanks.

M Human Fighter 6

"Butchering, dirty work."

Power attack, shift +6 to hit to damage.
first attack +7 to hit, +21 damage.
Rolled Critical 20. Damage rolled 4+21= 25 x2 = 50

second attack +2 to hit, +21 damage
Rolled 2, 4 to hit. Damage rolled 7+21= 28

-Was that enough to cut the dwarf out?

After stabbing the giant lizard, Jas retreats beyond the range of the beast's maw.

A glint catches the sailor's eye. Reaching down, Jas wraps his fingers around a pommel. Pulling on the hilt, Jas frees a sword from the sands. An eerie magical glow emanates from the great sword.

Dropping the harpoon loaned from Jaden, Jas renews the attack on the beast with his new found weapon.

Springing into an slashing attack, Jas swings wildly at the monster.

First attack 1d20+12 = 8+12 = 20
first damage = 2d6 +11 = 11+11= 22
Second attack 1d20+4 = 16+4 = 20
second damage = 2d6+11= 9+11 = 20

Jas springs back, away from the giant lizard.

"I thank the gods of the seas for giving me another breath and a new weapon to smite my enemies."

M Human Fighter 6

*Ding*
I forgot to add +1 stat for 4th level.
I feel stronger.

Now, I'm at +10 first, +5 second.

Yes,
I was using power attack to change my to hit and damage.

Strength bonus will change and I got your email about my weapon.
Since, I didn't get a reply about the spear. I think I'm going to go another direction with this character.

Great sword +3
damage 2d6 +3, +6 damage Strength bonus (x1.5 for two handed weapon)
critical threat 19-20, x2.

Power attack rules, one point minus to hit adds 2 points to damage for two handed weapons.

So,
first attack +12 to hit, +11 to damage
second attack +4 to hit, +11 to damage

will be my standard spread with power attack.

My next feat will be cleave.

M Human Fighter 6

"Well, thank you for the harpoon."

Pick up the Harpoon and begin launching sequence. (wait, wrong game.)

Spring attack lets me run in poke the giant lizard and run away.
Power attack (+6 to hit, +6 damage)

to hit 1d20 +6 (rolled 3, 9) I doubt I hit.
damage 1d8 +6 (rolled 8, damage 14)

to hit 1d20+1 (rolled 19, 20)
damage 1d8+6 (rolled 4, damage 10)

M Human Fighter 6
