Jaonos didn't follow Bose or Lalandar but still has his bow drawn from entering the tunnel earlier. It's my understanding that he and Frenhir are both in the same room as Ferrum now.
Concerned that he did not hear the dog bark, and fueled by the growing tension amongst his companions, Jaonos drops his head slightly and quietly prays:
Ilúvatiar guide my tongue. Let me speak freely with your creation.
He turns to face Frenhir and releases the energy he gathered during prayer
I took a stab at this spell but please correct me if I rolled incorrectly. I used Handle animal which gives me a +10 and an additional +4 when dealing with my animal companion and half of my level to get the +16
Speak to Animals: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29

by my count I think my spell is out. Is that true?
Jaonos calls softly to Frenhir to summon his complain. While waiting for Frenhir to reach them, he draws his bow from his back.
While I'm not keen to the idea, if he is willing, perhaps Frenhir can check to ensure the cost is clear. He will be the least exposed when going through the opening
Frenhir trots over to Joanos and observes the room. He approaches the opening. As he gets closer, the fir on his back stands up. He stops to sniff the opening.

Oops sorry I misunderstood that
I don't believe these doors are with the trouble. If we force them open it is very likely that we will alert every goblin in the area of our presence.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
If there are goblins ahead we can't afford to waste more time. I'll try my hand at finding any traps around the door.

This well can't be the only water source or they would have gaurded it more fiercely. Even goblins know the value of water.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
I agree with Lalandar. I don't like the idea of leaving so much unchecked. While I understand your concern Alfren, it may but be safe to travel back alone. There may yet be more goblins. Even if we slayed them all, I have no doubt that we haven't found all their traps yet.

NVM my blindness passed. I found the link.
Jaonos draws his bow and notches an arrow. He steps into the Hall but intentionally relations behind Ferrum.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
maybe I'm blind but I don't see the post with the link to the map. Am I missing something?

Bose is our best stealth character right?

As always, please correct me if I get something wrong in this. I'm a level 4 cleric so I get 4 0 level spells, 4 1st level, and 3 2nd level right? Assuming I read that right, I would prepare these spells:
0: light, spark, detect poison, detect magic
1: bless, firebelly, stunning barrier, cute light wounds
2: find traps, shock arrow, muffle sound.
Please correct me if I choose any spells I'm not able to. I looked at this: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/spell-lists-and-domains/spell-lists-cleric/# p1 to make my decisions.

It's not something I prefer, but our best bet may be to give up any chance of surprise and stealth for some tourches. In this instance, our ability to see and defend ourselves may out weigh our ability to be stealthy. However, I suggest that Frenhir should join the front of our party. While I don't like being separated from him, his sense of smell may prove vital in avoiding potential traps.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Due to the fact that I keep forgetting to have my character prepare spells, I don't have a specific spell prepared for this. I got healing after we get hurt down there but that's what I got
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4

May I suggest a defensive formation? Lalandar and the boy could take point with Ferrum and Bose close behind ready to jump into action but vigilant to the sides. The rest of us will fall behind forming a pyramid we could gaurd the rear but provide range support of we encounter head on threats.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Just checking to make sure I'm reading the map right. Rooms 7 and 8 are behind us and ten is ahead on our right? I'm moving forward with my post thinking that way but please correct me if i miss read that
Perhaps a systematic approach would benefit us. We could work ahead to the room before us and then circle back.

Jaonos moves to sit against the wall opposite of Bose. He looks at him intentionally and nods to indicate that he would take the next shift.
Frenhir lays down next to Jaonos, taking his time with the bone.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Jaonos, already tired of the heckling over money took a small step forward to draw attention his way.
The terms seem fair enough. My name is Jaonos Erdove. I am a cleric of Iluvitar. My apologies for our guarded nature. Allies are less common then predators these days. This here is my companion Frenhir. We are no strangers to the ferocity of goblins. Your cause is a noble one. We look forward to playing our part in it.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Jaonos shifts his weight to subtly allow his right hand to rest near his dagger.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Ferocious creatures goblins are indeed. What they lack in intelligence they make up for in bloodlust. But even goblins need motivation. Do you know why they would take social interest in this keep?
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
I'm going to make 2 moves here based on the condition of if Joanos has kept Bose in sight while all this has occurred or not.
If Joanos has kept clear line of sight on Bose.
Joanos knotches an arrow and aims at the door. He curses himself under his breath for not staying within range to heal his comrades.

Hey I'm not really sure where my character is at this point. I've kinda lost sense if what's going on. It's totally my fault because I haven't had time to really go through everything in super detail. Could you give just a flash recap?
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Jaonos will follow the group but stay back far enough to take a shot if something pops out, bow drawn.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
that post is assuming Lalandar didn't shout. I'm assuming his experience dictates that he wouldn't blow his stealth like that
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Growing increasingly weery from waiting, Jaonos, with Frenhir by his side, began to slowly make his way towards Lalandar. Frenhir moved carefully. From their years of experience together, the two moved together it of instinct.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
I tried to catch up on reading but if I am missing any roles let me know and I can get that done. I'm not going to make any big moves right now because I'm still working on understanding the map and wanted to post because I haven't in a long time.
Jaonos under his breath to himself Life is not meant to be this quiet.
Jaonos didn't like waiting for the group to decide what to do next. He was used to traveling alone or just with Frenhir. It took all of his self control to remain patient and push back the feeling of being exposed. He reached down and rested his hand on Frenhir's back. Frenhir's fir was standing. This didn't help Jaonos. He collected himself by saying a soft prayer.
As he finished, he turned to look towards Lalandar, hopeful that the other Elf was ready to move onward.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Frenhir is well. We best hurry. Goblins are never far apart.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Jaonos lead Frenhir closer to Ferrum. Gently Jaonos guided Frenhir to lay on his side. Looking his companion in the eye Jaonos placed his left on at the base of the arrow. Understanding what was happening, Frenhir looked away as Jaonos swiftly removed the arrow from his side. Jaonos quickly stood up straight. Focusing on feeling that magic energy flowing through him, Jaonos began to pray softly.
As he finished his short prayer, Jaonos released his energy.

if that attack finishes off the Goblin
Jaonos relieved
We we're lucky. Ferrum you are hurt. May I try to heal you?
If the Goblin escapes
Jaonos rushed but calm. A hint of shame in his voice for letting the Goblin get away
The Goblins will take personal pride in hunting us down for their pleasure. Bose, Lalandar I will trust your judgment, but before we do anything, we must attend to Ferrum and Frenhir's wounds.

I'm confused about the pink Goblin. You said it was finished. Then it failed one role to stop bleeding but then passed another. Is it still in the fight? Sorry if I'm missing something. I just want to finish it if it is still in the fight.
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Frenhir lets lose a ferocious growl and lunges at the orange Goblin with a mighty small of his jaw.
Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
I'm assuming this counts as Frenhirs turn for this round but wanted to ask before I post for Jaonos's round because I typically do them at the same time
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Second round turn assuming my first round was not enough to finish that Goblin. If for some reason it was though, I'd take the same action on the yellow Goblin.
Jaonos notches another arrow as he takes a step back and fires again at the Goblin.
Long Bow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 3
Frenhir rolled back onto his paws as Jaonos fired. Again following the arrow, Frenhir pounces for a second bite. I'm assuming he is too close for another charge bonus
Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Male Elf cleric of Iluvitar /4
Due to some error on my last post this one is fixing that. Frenhir should of had an additional +2 for charge placing his attack at 18. I'll now role damage for both attacks as well as the trip for Frenhir.
Retconned Bite: 18
Trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Frenhir Damage
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Jaonos Damage
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4

Spinning in his heels, Jaonos quickly took aim at the creature that attacked him. (The pink icon) With a steady breath, he let an arrow fly.

Stepping forward and placing a hand on his companion wolf, Jaonos spoke softly and steadily.
Easy Frenhir, my friend.
Jaonos motioned to the others to lower their weapons as he took two more steps forward and lowered into a crouch taking a stance that, while non-aggressive, would still allow him to retreat should his efforts fall short.
Locking eyes with each wolf in turn, Jaonos slowly raised his left hand up just in front of his chest in a claw like motion revealing his palm. As he did so, he began to make a smooth shushing noise. As his hand paused in front of a wolf, it's growls would soften. Jaonos repeated this pattern each time rising slightly from his crouch. As he neared a half standing position, Jaonos motioned towards Frenhir with his right hand. The grey wolf came to his side and lowered his head, tapping the tip of his nose to Jaonos's left shin. Frenhir held this position for a moment his eyes shifting intentionally from wolf to wolf before he raised his head and stepped back. When Frenhir returned to his previous position, Jaonos reached a full standing position. The wolves were no longer growling and turned and retreated into the brush.

Jaonos thought a little on the information he heard across the pub. He only caught bits and pieces but he was glad to know the darkness that drew him here was near.
No trouble at all sir. Thank you.
Deciding to take a more bold path to information Jaonos stood and made his way over to the stranger's table.
Good evening sir, my name is Jaonos. Mind if I have a seat?
