“My my, isn't this a surprise.” Jamros said, thankful to have something interesting to occupy his thoughts. He promptly retrieved the discarded box, intending to remove the horrid sight from the more squeamish among them. “Either our benefactor isn't who we thought she was or….” He stopped, noticing for the first time the wooden case laying within the box. “What have we here?” he said as he opened the box.

Cal hopped inside, hollering musically letting his baritone voice fill the quiet space inside. "It's time to get going. There's a bit of a riot brewing out there, and I'd like for us to get inside someplace safe. My house is good for that, and I'd like help getting these kids there before it gets too late. Bring what you've found and we'll deal with it when we get there."

“Seems we weren't the only ones out for blood this night. Do you know what caused the riot?” Jamros said with a sigh.

Jamros chuckled humorlessly while he listened to his compatriots conversations, noisily retrieving Glenda from the rotten floorboards and fastening her on his back. He then proceeded to stroll purposefully throught the room, turning a certain brooch over in his hands as he searched for anything worthwhile. “Suppose it's only fair I do unto you as you did unto me, wouldn't you agree Lamm?” he said to himself.

Assuming Lamms dead.
Nothing….Jamros felt nothing at all as he witnessed the body go limp. He thought that he would at least feel jubilation at the rat's death, but in its place was that profound sense of emptiness, his frequent companion. He leaned wearily on Glenda and quietly inspected his shoes. Well, at least I didn't get much blood on my shoes today. he thought, and that notion improved his mood slightly.

Jamros promptly loaded another bolt, unfazed by his missed shot. The end will only be sweeter. he thought as he loosed another shot.

Jamros did smile then, bringing his crossbow to bear as he giggled madly. “Oh didn't you hear? Lady Death is the only woman in Hookshank’s life now, I'm afraid.” he said as he pulled the trigger.

No I'm good. I'm pulling out my crossbow on my next turn and firing. Also I'm out of spells.

“My dear, remember that vial I gave you? Well I suggest you hand that to our friendly guard here.” Jamros said to Li as he weaved his way through the crowded entrance. His journey ended just above the sleeping alligator, and he stared down Gaedren with the hint of a smile on his face. “I would tell you not to resist, but to be honest its far more fun this way.”

Garvid's last action reminded me that I don't actually know how many Harrow points we have. Wicked, could I persuade you to display that somewhere that we can easily reference.

Uh....I was actually casting Doom. I don't know Daze sadly. Sorry, I'll be more specific in the future.

Jamros readied Glenda with a flourish and began tapping into his remaining magical strength. The brand on his arm flared to life suddenly, seeming to consume the flesh anew, as he casually walked forward and addressed the boy.

“Do be so kind as to step aside. I have my own business with Lamm and I'd hate to have to strip the flesh from your bones.” he said ominously, his eyes flaring momentarily with the flames of Hell.

Same deal as last time. DC 14 will save from Teron.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. Was busy with friends.

It's not just you. I'd make sure the rest of the tokens aren't on the previous map.

"Pfooi!" exclaims Yaziyah as she notices the brood mother. "I sure as all hells don't want to go close to that one! We're here for that snake Lamm, let's not waste time with other vermins."

“Nor shall we. The mother likely won't attack unless we overstay our welcome. In other words, make tracks if you don't fancy venomous spiders.” Jamros said calmly as he made his way carefully to the door.

Once the arachnid had been slain, Jamros held Glenda out in front of him and began tracing two fingers in a pattern on her hammer head. “Much as I would love to stumble into another surprise like that one, I imagine we would benefit from a bit of light don't you think?” he said, completing the pattern and whispering a quick phrase that caused the strange weapon to flare up with red tinged light. He then held it out in front of him like a torch and waved it about the room dramatically. “Ah yes, that will do nicely. Let's see what hides in the dark.”

EDIT: Also, I just realized that with my Unlearned drawback, I can't roll untrained Knowledge checks except with one Knowledge skill. And I just realized I don't think I ever actually chose which Knowledge skill that was. :/ Since I just did it with Knowledge (nature), can we go ahead and set that as the one I can do, since it's already too late to edit the post? It kind of makes sense anyway, at least in this case - time in the streets giving her some situational knowledge of street-type critters.

Just realized I can't use an acid splash wand because I have neither UMD, nor the ability to learn the actual spell.

“Why, I have no idea what you're talking about.” Jamros said with mock innocence as he frisked Yargin. “Ah, what have we here?”

He held up the potion of spider climb, offering it to Li. “For our little spider monkey perhaps? I'll hold onto the other one for now, as well as this.” he said pocketing the wand Yargin was carrying. “I imagine it will go quite well with my stick collection.”

That's the wand of acid splash by the by.

Oh, that right. I forgot that came out wednesday. Time to visit my game store I guess.

Jamros began to hum a merry tune as he pulled a pair of manacles off his belt and snapped one on Yargin’s wrist. “I'll join you my dear. I doubt Gaadren has another escape route and besides, the sharks in these waters love Gnome.” he said to Li with a chuckle as he dragged the fat man's considerable girth to the stairwell and cuffed him to the most intact support he could find.

Was gonna leap off the catwalk onto Yargin, but I erred to the side of caution.

Jamros sighed as the fighting began anew. Suppose I'll just have to kill the fat man after all. It would have been more fun to break his bones. He thought as he hurried down the catwalk and the first few steps of the stairwell. As he neared the the fighting, Jamros inspected his opponent, determining the severity of his wounds.

I feel compelled to do something foolhardy. Something involving acrobatics.

I'm ignoring extended family, so the usual.

Jamros laughed out loud when he saw Yargin’s blunder and made his way past his compatriots in order to place himself in full view. “Do put that trinket away before you embarrass yourself further.” he said, leaning on the railing and playing with a piece of gray matter that clung tenaciously to Glenda. “You're in an awfully sorry position and I doubt you want to be remembered as the man who died defending himself with a stick.” then he brought his wicked grin and penetrating stare fully on him. “Tell us where Gaedren is and we will consider leaving you at least an arm and a leg unbroken.”

She shuffles her elbows beneath her and props herself up, taking in the puddle of blood on the planks beneath her. I was dyin', wasn't I? An'...was that magic?

Jamros chuckled at the girl's query. “I’d say it's like a contractual obligation more than anything, but yes child, it is magic.” he said, standing and following Li out of the room. “Ah, would you be so kind as to lay down covering fire while I approach the fat man, my dear?” Tag Li

Jamros’ face fell as the bolts struck the gnome. “Or not, I suppose. A pity that.” he said then casually stepped over the orc’s carcass and kneeled to place the back of his hand on Mouse’s forehead. “Wake up child, the jobs not finished yet.”

Tracing a quick pentagram in the air, Jamros channeled radiant light through his hand into Mouse, suffusing her with newfound strength.

Cool blood flowed freely from the knife in Jamros’ side. He knew he should apply pressure to it, but suddenly he had more pressing concerns. “A word of advice rat.” he said looking over his shoulder. “If you're going to stab someone in the back you should make sure to try for the heart. Otherwise you're liable to make that someone angry.”

At the orc’s renewed laughter Jamros spun about and swung a third time with Glenda.

damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Welp, I think that just about does it for our comedian.

Actually, know what? Changed my mind. I'm finishing off Giggles first.

Hmm...Mouse is stable and Garvid is conscious. Suppose I'll risk one more attack.
Jamros smirked, raising Glenda for another swing. “Do stay still, me and Glenda aren't finished with you yet.” he said making another attempt to brain the orc.
Glenda: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
That….might hit. He does take a - 4 for being prone after all.

Jamros merely clicked his tongue at the thug, spinning Glenda about himself as he forced his way forward. “You really should be more careful you know” he said, before swinging the Glenda’s blunt end down on the prone orc.
hooked hammer: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
But the gibbering orc rolled out of the way at the last moment, causing the hammer to smash a small hole into the ground.

Sorry wanted to take advantage of the orc’s proneness while it lasted. I’ll heal you guys starting next turn.

This tittering fop is beginning to get on my nerves. Jamros thought as he stepped into the doorway and pointed towards the half-orc, the pentagram on his arm flaring orange. “Kindly still your tongue, or I will be forced to remove it.” he said, but his words were not his own, rather they seemed to belong to something great and terrible.
Casting Doom on Herr Giggles. He needs to succeed on a DC 13 will save or be shaken for one minute.

Jamros could almost see the plan fly out the window. “Guess there's nothing wrong with a bit of a struggle.” he whispered before vaulting one handed over the short wall, then tucking into a roll that brought him next to Mouse. “Good evening milady. I pray I'm not late for the festivities.” he quietly said, brandishing Glenda’s hooked end.

Jamros practically skipped as he followed Garvid to the northern entrance, before remembering he was supposed to be silent. He dropped into a crouch near the rickety stairs as he reached for his hooked hammer. Mustn’t be too anxious now, even if I'm so close to the one who….caused the unpleasantness.

Sorry I haven't posted much, been extra busy today. I'm a bit lost on what the exact plan is here. Does someone need me to shadow them for heals? Also I'm not especially stealthy FYI.

Might be it bein' me snoopin'll pull out more of 'em, Mouse replies, but seein' anyone snoopin's liable t' bring out at leas' one or two. If we c'n get 'em comin' out one or two at a time, might be even better. The look on her face is equal parts intense concentration, anxiety, and sadness.

Jus' know I'm not goin' in t' kill none o' the Lambs if it c'n be 'elped. Lamm's earned it an' no mistake, but mos' of the kids ain't guilty o' no more than doin' what they had to t' survive, an' for some this might be the only thing they known. I know we'll probably have t' do some knockin' 'round, but I don't wanna have t' send none of em t' the Gray tonight if need don't be.

“Lure out the cat with a mouse.” Jamros said with a grin, clearly relaxing now that the plan was taking shape. “I like it.”

"I have indeed, master Jamros. It seems a gaggle of youngsters has recently been sighted near westpier 17 as well as a few roughs and a big black dog. It would be a shame if such children were subject to forced labor, not to mention against the law. Some well meaning citizens may need to investigate." He smiled back at the gnome, although he wasn't really sure if the gnome was actually cheerful or not. "By all means, do look on. We may have to tell someone what we've found."

“Then we should make haste, if we’re to find this good samaritan.” Jamros said as he began leading the merry procession back to Zellara’s.

There should be no more delay, now would be the time to strike.

“We will need the element of surprise if we are to succeed. A night raid seems the obvious choice, but there are other possibilities.” Jamros said as he created a rough sketch of the fisheries exterior. He was more reserved now, putting aside his devilish grin in favor of a more taciturn frown. “Perhaps someone would be interested in causing a distraction?” Tag everyone
