Almost on cue with NT-2B's diatribe about sloths, J'Ruuk lets out a loud yawn and once again scratches his belly. For a moment, the resemblance is astounding. "Meditating? That the thing you do when you close your eyes and sit really still?" he asks, his eyes drooping, "I can use me some of that right about now."

The Whiphid snorts before addressing Jek's question. "A favor. For a friend," he replies simply, raising a clawed finger to scratch his nose. "Probably not getting paid enough."

J'Ruuk grunts. "Nope. Besides, last time I played with one of you Jedi types I got cleaned out."

"So what you're saying is, we aren't there yet," J'Ruuk grumbles unhappily, his Basic deep and rough, but otherwise perfectly understandable. He had opted to take a too-small backseat within the cramped (to him, at least) cockpit. For the past few hours, he'd nod off every couple of minutes, before waking up to scratch his belly. To his credit, he didn't complain... much. It was clear that his presence hadn't done much of anything to allay Jek's boredom.

I'll bite on Not-Too's second aspect.

Yet another bad situation escalates when J'Ruuk gets caught up in the Jedi-Sith conflict. Deciding that red seems to be the universal color of evil, the Whiphid picks the other side, only to get shot at more times than he could count. After being dragged onto a Jedi starship, J'Ruuk's life is saved by a strange medical droid. Coming out of his first near-death experience, he vows to watch the droid's back... perhaps a bit too graciously.
Aspect: "Kinda Like That Wookiee Thing"

Shooting, though nothing that makes him seem like a crazed mass murderer, I suppose.

Over Their Heads: Use Shoot in place of Provoke on rolls made to place fear and panic-related aspects on targets.

Sorry, I'm still here.

You're pretty good at those stunts, Ryuko. I'm half-tempted to just take all of those and try my hand one or two more. (Three for free and 1 point for each additional one, right?)

Aspect: Which Way Is Where? (w/ Omi-Cron)

I'll go off this one.

J'Ruuk had one simple job - not to let anyone into the cargo hold until they reached their destination. But when a roguish jedi interferes and J'Ruuk learns just what he had been guarding, he has to decide - is the boss' money worth it?

Aspect: "I Don't Do Slave Jobs"

Skills:
Great (+4): Physique
Good (+3): Fight, Shoot
Fair (+2): Contacts, Notice, Provoke
Average (+1): Athletics, Empathy, Mechanics, Pilot

Still working on stunt ideas.

So... that weird CGI Clone Wars movie was actually about them saving Jabba's afternoon snack? Huh.

I hate to say it, but I'd be very surprised if an altruistic Hutt has ever existed.

Hm. I think I feel better about Option Two. I like the idea of J'Ruuk's employer being a "good" guy, rather than someone plotting to screw everyone over. I'm sure there are already plenty of Hutts that would like to do that already.

As far as the name goes, I think "Rumba the Hutt" (actual surname not withstanding) should be fine.

Hm. Maybe J'Ruuk can be on board "officially" as an informant? I could use one of my NPCs on a Hutt (one of his old bosses that he didn't manage to piss off somehow) that is a small-time crimelord, which by Hutt standards, makes him a bit of a failure. Unofficially, he could be hired muscle, since I don't think the jedi would outright pay for that kind of thing.

I tried to use MapTools, once. A pretty great tool, but god is it time consuming.

At any rate, best of luck to everyone!

Mahorfeus' character, here. I believe everything are to your specifications.

Backstory might need a tad bit of editing, and I may or may not take a drawback for another trait.
