Good luck to all. I found the process of developing this one very interesting.

May I present Ithimal, the half-orc Trapbreaker Alchemist.

The crunch is mostly done, I still want to add some URLs and the mechanics of the abilities, but the decisions should all be present. The one thing needed though is gear, but that should be done by tomorrow.

The unwritten explanation for Ithimal's backstory is he has Oni blood, but it manifests in an "other" voice in his head. This will be his other personality that comes out when he achieves Master Chymist at 8th level.

The Advancement Plan:
Ithimal will be an alchemist, taking the Trapbreaker archetype to either serve as the scout to some degree or back up for whoever else does it. Eventually (8th level) he will progress into the Prestige Class, Master Chymist. I will likely spend the rest of the game in the PrC after 7th level.

The plan for his alter-ego is to be the other voice from his head, which is a fragment of an Oni's memory from his bloodline. I have not discovered the name I want to use for it yet, but visually it will likely be similar to some of the lesser (human and/or hobgoblin based) oni. The Oni version will be more neutral but will still seek the overall goal of the group. He will not be simply a more murderous version of Ithimal (though he will likely be more prone to jump into combat when it happens).

As for feats, there are no key ones really. I do plan to take Intimidating Prowess as Strength will be a big focus for him. I will likely take Extra Bombs at some point and I am taking Concentrated Splash at first level to make splash weapons a little more versitile for him.

Speaking of splash weapons, I am hoping to be able to craft some with downtime. Along with Brew Potion this means I will likely take the Master Alchemist feat at 5th level. But it is not key if you feel that the story will not afford enough time to actually craft anything. (of note, if this is the case I would ask that I be allowed to replace the Brew Potion feat with extra bombs as is done in PFS).

Most of the concept is driven towards the Prestige Class, leaving a good amount of room for him to adapt to the group. If the group needs more healing, he can step up (though he will be a poor primary healer). If the group needs him to focus more on bombs, he will likely focus there. Same with the scouting.

Good luck to everyone, a lot of good ideas I am seeing here.
