Radavel

Spoiler:
Tokie nodded, giving a slight smile. "I am not as hungry as you might think, but some small refreshment might be nice." She moved to go with him back to the inn.

Radavel

Spoiler:
Tokie gave a bow to him, allowing a smile to light up her face. "Kuemon-dono, I am very pleased to have caught up with you." Standing for a moment, she also gave a bow to Shiba Aiko, acknowledging the presence of one of her betters.

Her greetings out of the way, she looked to Kuemon, straightening her shoulders a bit as she started to walk with him. "Yes, Master Hochiu has sent a message to me...a flaming Phoenix. I was honored to recieve a message from him in such a fashion. He reminds me that others in my position have won the Topaz Championship in the past and asks that I strive to repeat that honor for the Phoenix." She paused, a thoughtful expression crossing her features.

"I will do my best to honor our clan here and to strive to succeed. I must admit to feeling a bit disoriented, however."

Considering the possibilities and the likelihood of her clansmates being at a temple of Bishamon, Tokie shook her head and started towards one of the many to Benten instead.

'To be in contemplation to one so warrior bent...' The thought stopped her up short. Considering what they were there for, it was entirely possible that her clansmates prayed for strength at this time, instead of going to the gentler Fortune.

With a sigh, she turned once more, instead heading for a temple of Bishamon, hoping to find her clansmates inside.

Spoiler:
Tokie will seek out the two of them then, looking for the 'company' of her clansmen.

Radavel

Spoiler:
Looking up at the trees blossoms, she thought upon the words of the master. She could hear them in her mind as if they were being spoken to her. Everything around her seemed to fade away as she started a silent prayer, only hoping she was up to the task set before her.

'Which task, Kie?' The other thought and voice intruded upon her prayer and she looked around, startled. It was only her imagination that had put that voice into her mind though and she sighed, starting yet another prayer, but this one for a nice, quiet day without...interuption.

She brushed her hands off rather unnecessarily, a nervous move on her part. Without looking around, she started off on her walk again, once more wondering where the other Phoenix were.

'Surely I wasn't the only one sent? It can't have been, there must be other representatives of the clan...'

For Radavel

Spoiler:
The bird flying into the dining area before Tokie had quite had a chance to leave startled her, but not so much as to make an overt display or to be loud about the matter. Instead, she watched the small bird fly around, fascinated by the seemingly easy display of magic. She herself knew it was no small feat; but she loved watching the work of those more powerful than her. It made it seem effortless, and her own future as a shugenja very bright.

Once she responded to it by holding her hand out, she almost forgot herself once more at seeing the mark on the scroll. She could feel her face flush with pleasure and nervousness at being so personally addressed by one of the Elemental Masters. It seemed to be specifically an address by the Master of Fire themselves; her own chosen element. The concept of such filled her with joy.

Holding the scroll close, she wended her way out of the dining area and into the wide open spaces outside the inn. The beauty of the city was lost on her as she found a bench or seat to settle herself on, immediately out of the flow and bustle of traffic. Once there, she split the scroll open, her eyes scanning the contents quickly.

Mirumoto

Spoiler:
OOC: Mirumoto, she had actually not started moving for the door yet. My mistake in posting was saying that she stood up again to greet you, she had already stood. Just not moved yet.

Nodding at the Dragon, she watched him leave before looking down at her food once more. She considered staying for a moment longer to have some more of the rice, but found that she was more curious about getting out and about.

Moving from the table, she started for the door, glancing at the others as she left. It seemed very strange that it was just them in the room. Perhaps this was part of the test itself? As the thought occured to her, she hesitated in the doorway, glancing about once more. She started to scrutinize the room, her eyes searching about for anything out of place.

It was with some surprise that she watched the Dragon approach her clan's eating area, waiting to see what prompted the visit. When he finished speaking, she considered for the briefest of moments before standing up, giving a polite bow.

"Ohayou gozaimasu, Mirumoto-sama. I am Isawa Tokie. It is indeed my plan to sightsee for a while, but I was hoping to speak to some of my clanmates as I did."

2k2=11

Looking around the room after she'd been seated in her alcove, she glanced towards the Crab's section, tilting her head a bit. After a moment she looked down to her food, starting to eat her vegetables and rice slowly, lingering over them. She had a little bit of soup, but no fish, not trusting it to her stomach at the moment.

After she was done with the small, simple meal, she sighed a bit, glancing around the room once more. Having other Phoenix there would have been helpful; she hadn't thought she'd slept so late as to completly miss them. Apparently the others in the room were having the same problem as well, though.

No matter, she needed to get her day underway in some fashion and puzzle out where her clansmates where later. She had no doubt that if she was needed or expected elsewhere she would be told. Standing, she gathered her robes about her, looking towards the door. She should find an exit and go sightseeing a bit, see what she could observe before they were called to begin formal introductions.

Isawa Tokie roused herself with some difficulty from her meditations. It had not been an easy night, nor a good one and she was hoping it didn't speak ill of the competition to come. She'd alternated between sleep and praying, unable to quell the clenching of her stomach. At a certain point she'd given up on sleep and had moved to meditations, positioning herself comfortably on her sleeping mat.

It was somewhat startling to awaken then, having still expected to be in meditations. She chided herself silently, rising and streching her tired limbs. Today was not a day to be weak, or tired or out of sorts. She needed her wits about her. Resolving to be alert as if she'd slept the night soundly away, Tokie started to prepare herself, taking extreme care in her dressing. She wanted...needed to be neat and composed. It would help her to ignore the rapid beating of her heart.

As soon as she was ready, she looked around the room, checking to make sure that nothing was out of place. When she was satisfied, she started towards the common eating room, her eyes sweeping about as she did. There, she could see a Dragon and Lion in conversation. It surprised her that some of the competitors were so quickly willing to get over their surroundings to speak to one another, but perhaps the two knew each other.

Giving them a polite bow in passing, Isawa Tokie headed towards the food, trying not to listen to the conversations of others as she selected a light breakfast.

Sheet updated.

Spoiler:
Isn't the Friend of the Elements an Inherent Advantage? As in, I'd have to purchase it now in order to take it at all?

I actually found out what the problem is. I had to go to the very far right side of the button on the very bottom. Then I get the option to click on it to save my changes. My actual spacing wasn't an issue there. Sometimes the button works properly and sometimes it doesn't, that's all.

I just want to correct the spacing in my written paragraphs. No biggie, it's nothing all that big, but if I try to click on the save changes button it just doesn't register. Like it's not there.

You know, I've realized that I have a lot of trouble changing my profile. Just wanting to correct things like formating; the save changes button doesn't work more often than not. Is this a known problem?

My sheet is up as well. If there's anything that needs changing, let me know. Also, the one Heritage Roll that gets done...yeah...I didn't do that either. That die roller is a little Greek to me.
