Isaias still seems a bit...uncertain about your choice of trial by combat, but he doesn't press the issue and you continue your meal, and the rest of the trip, talking about Bellerophon.

Eventually, the cruiser lands on another public islet, this one the home of various offices of planetary dignitaries, a small museum on the history of Bellerophon, and the district courthouses. Isaias leads the way inside, followed by Kachada flanked by Marcus and Tyler.

Marsh:
If you wanted to do other things on the ship, feel free to post about it. Otherwise, you will have landed without incident and simply need to get off the ship with some excuse to the pilot.

The courthouse resembles something from an old-Earth data file, resplendent in the trappings and luxury reminiscent of aristocratic Victorian England. Dark-stained wooden paneling lines the walls, rich carpets runs along the floors, and everywhere an almost telltale scent of cedar mixes with the flowers set on pedestals at strategic intervals.

You had forgotten just how much the inhabitants of Bellerophon spent on those extra touches to set the mood. And just as you were beginning to remember, your brain is kickstarted by the woman purposefully striding down the hallway towards you; Duranta Foxglove.

For a moment, Isais' smile seems to falter at your proposal.
Er, yes. Trial by combat. You're certain of this? Does that not seem a little... brash? Wouldn't it be easier to simply go through with a normal trial? I know you have seen my skill as a lawyer before, given our past... but if you are set upon this course of action...

In answer to a question: We can make Sense Motive equate to a Clever Overcome check against your opponents Clever Overcome check.

Isaias Clever Overcome: 1d5 - 1d5 + 2 ⇒ (4) - (1) + 2 = 5

Right about that! Now, I'm sure you've come--

He takes an overly large bite of lobster, --mmm, delicious. As I was saying, I'm sure you have come to realize that you will be in need of a lawyer. Now, I know you understand the proceedings and that usually in cases as this the courts would appoint you with someone. However, I have gone and made sure to, shall we say, line the correct pockets so that I will fight for and with you, my old friend.

He smiles over another mouthfull of lobster,
That's right, you heard me correct, I, Isaias Zephyr the third Baron of Strictnor point, will be the light on your path to justice.

Isaias beams at you, obviously pleased with his workmanship and waiting your approval.

Baron! You old Scallywag! How are you, how are you? Please, come and join me! The lobster is simply delicious and you must try some!

Isaias Zephyr is sitting with his napkin properly tucked into his regalia, and is tucking into a very large lobster on the plate in front of him.

I see the long journey back home has found you well? Still keeping polished and all, I see? Yes?
