Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Iowyn quickly looked around for her dagger wondering how she lost it. There is some sort of trick happening here. I did not murder these men. Swift Action for Archeologist's Luck

Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Iowyn's jovial facade quickly dropped. I would watch it with who you are calling 'infernal,' inquisitor. Rumour has it that you are not fully human yourself. In fact, I've heard you are entirely fiend. And I have no intention of leaving this town until I find out the truth of those murders. So how about we go down to the sheriff, and we can work this all out? Intimidate: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 1 = 24 ![]()

![]() Iowyn beams a smile back to the woman and tries to find any hints of lies: First, she will use her SLA Detect Thoughts to try to hear what the inquisitor is thinking (DC 15 Will save).
I am a humble archeologist. A student of the human condition. Or... demi-human as it were. And this case against the Pathfinders has piqued my interested to say the least, Iowyn replied her smile never wavering. Bluff: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 1 = 16 I don't suppose you would be willing to help me with finding out any more information on what really happened?

Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Where is the last place anyone has seen Ekira? Where does she typically spend the night? Does anyone seem particularly reputable who is telling me she is a demon and murderer? Anyone the Sheriff would belief? If so, I will attempt Charm Person to get them to come testify on behalf of the Pathfinders, otherwise, I will hold off on my spell. ![]()

![]() Disguise: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 Iowyn walks around the crowds hoping to find the inquisitor, Greetings, I am Iowyn of Taldor. I am here to find the reknown Ekira. Eek... that's not too great... I will await the results of my checks before RP-ing further... ![]()
Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Sorry everyone, last few days were far busier for me than expected. I didn't come up with much more than Saera. The fairgrounds were mostly empty by the time I got there, but they should provide some better clues in the afternoon. Balon, if you could point the way to this Ekira, I will go and talk to her in the morning... I have a few tricks up my sleeve to know what people are really thinking. The tiefling said with a huge grin. If all goes well, I will search the fairgrounds again when I finish with her. ![]()
Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Iowyn follows suit pulling up her hood and coiling her tail around her waist like a belt to hide her fiendish heritage. Then I will take the Fairgrounds, seems innocent enough... But hopefully with all the added foot traffic I can find some clues. Perception to find people of interest: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

![]() By the way, thanks for the heads up that the season six guide is out. Just finished going through it. I have mixed feelings on the new factions. But fingers crossed they have some fun metaplot to unfold with it as the season progresses. And at least old faction traits are grandfathered in so my primary PC can keep her Andoran trait for longbow profiency. ![]()
Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Iowyn scrunches her nose at the thought of leaving them there to hang. Allowing fellow pathfinders to meet their end on a mission did not sit well with her. The Tiefling woman was tall but rail-thin and wearing bright blue and green flowing garments of Taldor over her leather armor. A shortbow is slung across her back, and a well-used whip hangs coiled at her hip. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
She began questioning the venture captain rapidly once he stopped speaking: Do you have more information on the three pathfinders? Where are they from? What race are they? What do they look like? Any information on them could help in asking questions without giving away our affiliation to the Society. And what do we know about the arresting party? Or the murder victims? Do we have any contacts in the town with whom we can rendezvous, or are we completely alone? ![]()
Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Well... Iowyn whispers to the others after watching for a few moments, This is certainly disgusting. Any plans? She grabs her crossbow and checks that it is loaded. Or we could always just jump in spells slinging and guns blazing, respectively, she adds with a wicked grin and a point to Saera's weapon. ![]()
Female Tiefling Psychic 5
![]() Well... at least we have a lead now... Iowyn says after reading the note. Do we have a clear idea of where the wagon was supposed to end up in town? Maybe we could plan an ambush there. Iowyn asks Laurel if she knows anything about this Vondrella person. If not, she suggests interrogating the cultist that Balon beat senseless (aka Mr. Burns). ![]()

![]() Perception 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Well lovely... the tiefling days noting townsfolk up the road. They are all holding the flowers. Apparently they had other groves. Upon hearing Balor describe the new arrivals, Iowyn gets a little panicked. Her tail swiftly retrieves a vial of alchemist's fire to set the cart alight. How many people in the streets seem to have the flowers? And is the cart close enough to burn it by lobbing a flask? ![]()

![]() Iowyn helps Balon ensure all of gardeners are stabilzed in time. They may have attacked us, but they don't deserve death... or undeath as the case may be. As Balor questions then, the witch reloads her crossbow, Also we should make this quick. We don't know if more will be coming soon. ![]()

![]() Well that didn't take long to upset the neighbours... Move Action: Moves 25 ft north.
Iowyn strides towards the farmers and casually fires a bolt at the weapon arm of the closest one who is causing an alarm. Called shot on the arm of the one in blue directly north of me. Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 3 - 2 = 21 Gasp! Yay!

![]() Iowyn nods in agreement with Vincent. She hated the idea of getting closer to the risk of infection, but the grove was the only reasonable path. The tiefling draws her robes tighter around herself in discomfort as discussion of the disease continues, Would you be able to guide us to these flowers? Although I feel we need some more information before we depart. Have you noticed any signs of the disease in the druids or satyrs? How many of your men have contracted or succumbed to the disease so far? Do you have an estimation about how long it takes ones to go from first infection to... She gestures to the remains of the undead ...well... that? ---------- When the group has the information they need from Vanick, Iowyn pulls aside Balon and any of the other pathfinders close by. In a hushed voice she asks the cleric, The infected men here... Is there anything you can do for them? I would rather not leave them to suffer and turn into whatever it was we just fought. But any sort of treatment is beyond my healing arts... ![]()

![]() Sorry for the delay, did anyone else have trouble connecting to Paizo recently? Iowyn moves 30 ft north muttering under her breath about hating disease... She began to call out in Infernal hexing the closest undead.
