Invandi shakes off his underwater paralysis and swims to the top of the water. He takes his time climbing up to the room above.
Once the party is all gathered, he looks at Houghton and gives him a small bow. "Thanks!"
"Yeah," the sylph says as he looks back into the water below the broken floor "lets clear the rest of what we can easily walk to."

Invandi drops with the party, loud and limbs flailing as if to try and swim through the air before hitting the water. He starts to struggle, wondering if the lightness of his elven chain and shield will drag him down before realizing that his motion upwards is effortless.
He recalls then the effect of his newfound footwear and floats himself to the surface. He takes a curious look around before taking the opportunity to test something he has never done before. Leaning forward into the water, he takes a giant breath inwards... and finds his chest not complaining about the water coursing through it.
Leaning back upwards with a smile, he laughs. "Hey, I didn't drown. I guess I didn't need all those potions I bought in the homeland."

The shield begins to glow like a torch, and he briefly pauses to examine the now-wet versions of the current drawings on the back of shield before plunging it into the water... so as to better see what lies below its surface.

Invandi stands over the remains of the clockwork mage and his shield lights up with torchlight. He inspects the remains of the creature for anything loose or possible use.
Once satisfied in his search, he takes out a piece of chalk and sketches the out a quick image of the things upper torso and head on the back of his shield.
"If we're likely to run into one of these things again we should rest and prepare. We're no use to the living, or their remains, if we become corpses ourselves."

Watching the party take its hot beatings and turn towards mitigating the damage, Invandi trudges across the marred terrain. He picks his path carefully until he can clumsily splash through the fountain in an attempt to get provide separate targets to the orb.
Double move through difficult terrain along the wall (to avoid AOO), through the fountain. Extra five foot of base speed from Like the Wind will be helpful here.

Tatienne getting the slippers is cool.
Invandi only has potions/sponges of water breathing and some swim fins, but it should be enough to last a while.
He'd suggest borrowing the ring of swimming, but already has two ring slots taken.
Hopefully we come across another set of slippers or something similar later in the game
For the elemental fight, Invandi is sort of limited. I plan on starting the combat with Martial Flexibility using Lantern Style and Lantern Light so a thrown shield can bypass DR/-.

He thinks about it for the moment, and the constant breeze that seems to flow around him slows to a halt. Turning off breeze kissed to not disturb a curious insect.
He takes a quick sketch of the bee on the back of his shield, using a stick figure of Houghton as a reference to size.
