Other solution is a mate hold person on youWizard has Enchantment as an opposed school, so that's not gonna work either. Just a heads up since you mentioned this earlier: The wizard can still dominate you in advance if he has the spell available, even if enchantment is one of his opposition schools - it'll just take up two spell slots of the equivalent level, instead of one. Now, since he's chosen it as one of his opposition schools, chances are he probably didn't bother prioritising getting it in his spellbook, but it is at least an option, given how it lasts for days/level. Prepare it when not adventuring? That said, it's a level 5 spell, so this is probably a level 9+ thought.
Offering a subdomain doesn't mean they grant access to the domain. Most of the times in which this happens, like with one of the Great Old Ones that grants access to the Ice subdomain, it was explained that it actually doesn't grant access to the domain. Oh, I'm not disputing that she'd give access to anything else of the Chaos domain other than the Protean subdomain, merely that she'd have access to six "domains", namely, Chaos (Protean), Knowledge, Madness, Magic, Rune, and Trickery - which is always nice for, say, an Ecclesitheurge Cleric!
Considering how Sivanah offers six domains*, but she's well, kind of elusive and not quite so easy to pin down... who knows? *(Check those subdomains, Protean is part of the Chaos domain, which she doesn't offer normally) |
