PBP I don't think is really for me. Between the power-tripping unfair GM in the oher game I tried and this GM poofing without warning it just doea not appeal to me as a player anymore.

Imak is no stranger to the ravages of the Mana Wastes but he never likes to see good people so afflicted. Especially since he knows that as a caster in the Wastes, sooner or later they would take their toll on him as well.

EDIT: Ok so I keep editing the list and now it's less of a preliminary shopping list and more of the batman kit all my characters get.

I'd think in a pbp it would be easier to let the GM make the random encounter rolls.

We are waiting for a reply from the GM as we were attempting NPC interaction..we are not ignoring the bot, we are still back one round after the death of the ghouls.

I will eventually, but right now I'm more focused on making sure the woman that got attacked is ok. In character, I don't care about the bug flying around my head until I know the civilians are safe. If the woman took off during the fight then I'll turn my attention to the bug-bot.

I'd like to third the comment on the descriptions--very neat, very awesome! The whole thing is very interesting, and I'm sorry to have slowed you guys up--last couple days have been quite busy.

I enjoyed it greatly! Your descriptions of the battle were the most enthralling part, simultaneously taking into account the desires of the players and making the actions make sense in a spacial context via imagery. I applaud you, Chronicler.

Also, the lazurite monsters are definitely something i'd like to spring on my home group. Great design on those guys.

And I like the plot hook to go reboot Unimatrix's character.

Imak watches Volk's interaction with the floating sphere with cautious interest. It seems to be ok for the moment so Imak looks around to find the woman. He starts to walk over to check on her, then remembers he is covered from head to toe in mutant goo. He casts create water above his head to clean up a bit before walking over.

Imak take a moment to catch his breath once the mutants seem actually dead. He takes a moment to wipe some of the blood out of his eyes and surveys the seen. He snaps out of his respite when he sees Gruthrak in the dirt. As he rushes over to his kin he thinks, I keep telling him to learn to duck, dammit.
He kneels down and begins casting.

Imak has seen what these mutants can do when they fuse. As long as he drew breath, this town would not suffer the same fate as so many others. He feels the familiar burn of the Lazurite Radiation, but his health is not the priority at the moment.

Imak wheels around as blood flies and his foe falls. His mind flashes back to the first night he picked up this blade. He forces the memory from his thoughts as he notices the remaining mutants doing something to the largest. He lunges towards them as he remembers his studies to try to figure out what these creatures are doing

Imak carries the sword low as he moves, the tip leaving a track in the dirt as he prepares for an upward strike.

Sprinting to the mutant has gotten Imak's blood pumping. His orc half boils to the surface as his weapon flashes in the sun. His eyes burn with a righteous fury and he lets out a feral roar as he swings with all his might. This is the purpose for which he trained his body and soul. At this moment, his only purpose for existing is to protect this woman.

I don't think I'm carrying anything magical, although the exact nature of my special item is determined by the GM. If I draw a revolver on the half-orc who's looking at me funny, do any bullet holes show up? ;)
