The upcoming trials are going to be pretty tough, so maybe give the players 1-2 weeks of nothing to rest.

I think that at this point the Moon Dogs have done a lot of harm to the players and they know it, so let them get overconfident and go with a less than optimal plan under the belief that their recklessness will pay off for a higher reward. Not every challenger needs to be challenging y'know?

So far the only time I've seen the performance combat rules used well was with the Gladiator class from Little Red Goblin Games. In that case it's because any combat containing the Gladiator is always considered a performance combat with the audience being "the Gods."

At most I'd consider a veil for performance combat.

Though the unarmed combat feats are pretty extensive, so at least they have that.
