Woot! Less than 24 hours to go...

It's interesting that we've got no full-time clerics or desert druids in the pool.

I think it is because Druids generally have no extra-special ability to fight undead. I can't even think of an archtype that does, even though I always thought druids would be the first to volunteer to fight undead since they generally protect life in general.

How do you handle 1 min/level spells? How long would they general last? (1 fight? 2 fights? 3 fights?) Of course, this can vary, but for a general example, in a dungeon, assuming no puzzles to slow people down and only a few rounds of "healing" if needed. Would a spell that lasts for 9 minutes last several fights, or a single fight?

1 Minute of in game time is usually considered 10 rounds. 6 Seconds per combat round.

Out of combat spell time limits are usually decided by the GM on a case by case basis in my experience.

I think Hoss'r looks close to ready. Need to do some cleanup and basic spellchecking...

Dot.

Hoss'r was originally designed for MM.
Would need to re-do him for 9th level.

9th level sounds like a great way to start!

I'm assuming Prestige Classes are allowed?

He'sDeadJim here...

Hoss'r is my submission.

He's a Oread Fighter (phalanx fighter archtype).

As far as Gestalt goes, I'll let it develop naturally with how the game goes. Right now, I'm considering Oracle possibly?

Hoss'r is updated with the basics. Let me know if you have a question.

Living Monolith is fine. I can't guarantee a spot right now, but it sounds interesting.

I would like to throw Hoss'r Stonekind (Oread Phalanx Fighter) in the ring for submission. He was made for a previous group but didn't get picked. I will re-build him ASAP.

NOTE: Hoss'r would also be trying for the Living Monolith prestige class, eventually, as well.

I'll pull myself out of this one; though the character fits well, I'd rather let those people who want to do cool, not typically allowed builds while they have a GM willing to let 'em roll it.

Thanks!

I'm starting to feel like my simple character concept is kind of lost amid all these optional rules and third party stuff that I'm not that worried about right now.

Should I withdraw? Does this simplicity give me less chance at getting in?

When will you make a decision?

(Edit)Updated.

Please note that while Hoss'r is a Phalanx Archtype, he does NOT use reach weapons. He uses a normal spear, not a longspear. He's almost as good with ranged attacks as he is with melee too.

His main focus at later levels would be to gain the Living Monolith Prestige Class eventually.

I'm re-submitting Hoss'r Stonekind...Oread Fighter.

I will have to rebuild him as I have changed him over time for other possible games. The basics are there however. I will try and complete him tonight.

do I have to fight spider people that have preference for spandex?

I really don't know... Do Driders like spandex?

=\

Even if I have to play a baddy lol, yeah I just want to toss bombs at people, does that make me a bad person?

Of course not...that just makes you a Goblin!
