So I think I've decided to scrap the dwarf for a pally and do a half orc with a falchion

So in a few days here im going to be in another game and have decided to play a dwarven paladin of tourag with the trait that gives you sr equal to 5+ your char. Lvl. And the hospitaler and warrior of the holy light archetypes to make myself not only one hell of a melee fighter but also the partys second healer, plus being able to help heal will help out in rping to possibly get some info from a dying npc. Just really looking for suggestions on how to make my pally. He will be weilding a warhammer in 2 hands no shield. Help me out please

This is just my opinion I like the guide but I prefer vital and friends just cause its less situational I can just do the double dice instead of 1 round do intimidate next stagger the foe then finally do x2 dice and some con bleed. Like I said just my opinion otherwise like the guide as I said.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I know this might not totally pertain the the op's topic but the last adventure I played in was 3.5 return to the temple of elemental evil, we quested in the temple for many lvls we eventually made it to the bbeg lair we were at lvl 11 and we faced a cr 20 encounter and killed it in 6 rounds with only 2 people being effective and that was because of teamwork not super high magic items we never made it to a shop durring the adventure we just got what the dm gave us which was not alot. At the end of the encounter we lvld 4 times it was crazy and we never had crazy magic items or super high stat bonus's we just played to the weakness of the bbeg and the strengths of our party.

I know this doesn't pertain to the thread but where are the other races located that aren't in the core rulebook

Secret chest, mending, permanent animate object. Burning gaze is a nice touch, and if you want to give it some real flavor get your DM to allow you to apply a bane effect (sharks) to its slam attack.

EDIT: If he wants in on the fun, he should make it sentient and cursed.

The problem is animate object is not on the wizard's spell list and i would like to make it all by myself not get a witch or a cleric to help me.

I guess i could put a few skill points on UMD and get a scroll but i would be very hard to get a succesfull use since it's from another spell list

Just take 20 on the umd check its not like everyone is expecting you to make this chest in 1 min. Just wait till your back in town next time and see if you have the money to get everything you need.

Well I wanna make my hunters bond with my companions and I also don't wanna spellcast. Also I plan to be a close to mid range nuker so to say so I kinda wanna put as much damage as I can on the target with just being a ranger.

So I've got a few questions. This is my first time building a pathfinder charecter and I decided to choose a archer style ranger and was wondering if you guys (and gals don't wanna discriminate ) could give me really good builds for my charecter I've decided to go with a half-elf as the race with my free bonus feat of skill focus of stealth.

Also a side note I wanna make him a straight ranger no multi classing just wonder what feats and weapons and armor to give him. Any advice would be soooo very helpful thank you.
