I saw her walk off out of range of your abilities to scout and she still was bleeding heavily from her back. Have you not thought to check on her before your loins burn so hot for Ms. Kajitsu?"

Looking down at her hand on his chest and the tone of her voice he says "Calm yourself, young lady. Your frustrations shall not be directed to me when I am simply here to guide your path."

The Holy Vindicator is standing outside of Ameiko's tent and places a hand to stop Relisha from entering. "Did you fulfill all of you duties before heading over here, Ms. Tamm?"

Helvinius keeps a straight face through Relisha's retort. "You will expect nothing of me, child. I will address her as the Empress when she becomes the empress. Your knowledge in these matters is as insignificant as your supposed love for her."

He holds up a hand to stop her from protesting "That being said, you raise a solid counter-argument and I will acknowledge to watch my tongue."

When Sandru's whistle and announcement is made he nods to her and walks away to prepare his departure.

Helvinius works through the evening prayer and devotions with Relisha, commenting "I am pleased to have you back with me for this process, little one. Your absence was noticeable the other night and morning and I've grown fond of our time together for these moments." she says with a genuine smile.

When he asks about their conversation with Ameiko, he nods to her. "I did speak with her. I congratulated her on the uncovering of her family history and discovering her true heritage. Since she does not have any formal advisers with experience in this area, I have offered my services to her given I have served leadership in prior times." Seeing that doesn't meet the question she raised he continues. "I also provided a few quick suggestions on changes she should start making on how she is behaving with certain companions given what expectations will be when we arrive in Minkai. She needs to start thinking and behaving like an Empress, not the love-stricken teenager she has been traipsing around here recently."

"And you," he clarifies, "Ms. Tamm, you should be focused on your devotions and your duties with the gifts you have been provided. I have said it once and will say it again, you are giving in to lustful obsessions more than you need. Take control of yourself woman, focus!"

While Sandru discusses the route with Shalelu, Holy Vindicator Helvinius pulls Ameiko aside and starts to converse with. During their discussions, Ameiko looks up at Relisha three separate times with concern. She leaves their discussion with her head hung low and Helvinius staring intently at the tiefling while she talks with Thanara.

The elf nods, slowing his stride to match Relisha's. "I do not like to speak in riddles and find being blunt and honest is best. There are many actions I have seen you partake in these last days that I do not approve of. I have been quite vocal in my disappointment in your lust for Ms. Kajitsu, I feel like it clouds your judgment and will impair your ability to react appropriately when needed."

"So far however, I have not seen this to be the case. I have spoken to several members of camp about the attack yesterday and I have been told that it was your actions that saved the lives of everyone. Had you not let the Everflame flow through your vessel to sustain the warriors and heal the wounded, well, we all very well may be dead at this moment."

He holds up a finger to caution her against taking his words as praise. He stops walking to emphasize and make this point clear, his voice firm as he stares into her eyes and his voice rings with authority "I still hold true that you are thinking with parts of your body that a healer has no need of. Your duty is to those in need first. What would you choose should Ms. Kajitsu plead for your help, calling your name but the warriors on the battlefield needed you. Could you make a decision between the two in the heat of battle? Love, lust, emotions, they all will cloud your judgment. You are too young and full of strange feelings to see clearly and thus you must fall prey to these strange emotions as they overpower your lack of judgment. For now, you continue to prove me wrong. Please continue to do so, Ms. Tamm. For should you falter in this regard it is my holy duty to take corrective actions as necessary to prevent injustice and abuse of her gifts."

He starts to walk again, looking away from Relisha to the path ahead. "Now then, let us come back to your question. Which of the categories do you fall into. The woman that I'm coming to know who walks beside me now, she belongs in none of those categories. For you are the guiding light that absolves the taint Ms. Tamm, you are the chosen. Sarenrae herself has bestowed her blessing on you and she does not make mistakes. Let her will flow through you and do not question her, for she is righteous and glorious in her ways."

Helvinius takes the book and looks at the words which Relisha had just read aloud. He closes the book and then hands it back to her. "Walk with me." he states as he begins to walk down the path with her.

"I'm pleased to see you reading and examining the contents of The Book. It pleases me you fill your time with study and not with pleasures of the flesh. I had begun to grow concerned, but this shows promise. Consider me impressed for this day."

Slowly continuing to walk forward, he turns over his shoulder to look down on her, studying her. "Do you deny the possibility of redemption, mock life, defile the innocent or revel in slaughter, Ms. Tamm?"

Helvinius is just exiting the wagon when he is approached by Relisha. "Certainly Ms. Tamm, which passage seems to be troubling to you?"

Helvinius for his part doesn't react to her outrage, words or shove. When she's done talking, he simply nods once. "Very well. I hear your words Ms. Kajitsu. I will respect your privacy and I apologize for intruding."

Turning to Relisha however, his face darkens in the fading sunlight. "I am disappointed. You may lie here to her to keep her affection. I understand what you think you're doing, but realize this. You are letting the sins of the flesh get in between you and the gifts you have been provided. Does putting your lips on hers help heal a wound? Will you be able to react appropriately in battle if your heart now yearns for another? Will you be able to retain your vows when tested because now you are worried instead of focused."

Clearing his throat he says "You think about that tonight when you pay your penance. I am disappointed twice now by your decisions this evening. I will commune with the Dawnflower and report my dismay."

He turns away from both of them and walks off.

She raises a hand to slap his chest but the elf catches it mid-motion and holds her wrist. "Contain your emotions Ms. Kajitsu."

Looking over at Relisha he continues "Ms. Tamm has lust for you and it has fueled your emotions unnaturally. Love is not found hiding in the back of a wagon late at night when one is cold and lonely. She seeks the sins of the flesh with you, nothing more. This is nothing more than lust, Ms. Kajitsu."

Turning to face Relisha he looks down on her and speaks firmly with his authoritarian voice. "Isn't this true Ms. Tamm?"

Helvinius doesn't react to Ameiko verbally or physically, only turning his head down to stare at her with a look of disappointment and disdain. "You'll what exactly Ms. Kajitsu? Hmmm? You'll void our agreement. Go right ahead, you know what will happen should you choose that right."

Sighing in what can only be disgust, Helvinius groans. "Ah. There you are. I should have figured. You're making me late for evening prayers because you need to engage in lustful activities it seems?"

Shifting his hand to his hip, he looks down at Relisha with frustration. "I am disappointmented, Ms. Tamm. You had been doing so well too. I was starting to think your parents were mistaken. Pennace thrice-fold."

Without closing the curtain, he turns and begins to walk off. "Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Flame out of a pure heart." he calls back over his shoulder.

Helvinious nods astutely as Relisha speaks. ”Excellent observations, Relisha. I approve of your summarization and it appears your principles are appropriately aligned with the Everflame. I approve of your studies and suggest you read and recites passages 17, 65 and 137 tonight. All verses. We will talk on the lessons of Thaddeus and his quandary tomorrow.”

Helvinious doesn’t smile, but he offers her a parting not and ”Well done. Your parents appear to be wrong about you, I think. Keep up the good work.” before departing without any further conversation.

I didn't say you lied, I just am sensing motives and being stern!

The Holy Vindicator nods when Relisha cites her passage. "We are blessed to be traveling together then, daughter of Redoranda and Rael Tamm. You will join me before sunrise for morning prayers in the morn. Together we will pray and recite parables of Sunlord Thalachos, herald of Sarenrae."

Without waiting for a response he starts to walk off, but steps five steps. Without turning around he states "My business with Ms. Kajitsu is my business. It would be wise if you would stay away from her on this trip and focus on catching up with what your parents taught you."

He disappears around the corner into the night.

The elf watches the dainty woman who is no doubt the caravan whore, slink off out of sight, likely trysting with one of those heathen Varisian men.

The large elf glares down at the tiefling, disdain evident now visible. His voice adopts one of a stern teacher and he recites from memory "O you who believe! Fear Gods, and be with those who are true!"

Shifting his stance to face her squarely, sensing her squirm under his scrutiny she continues "You claim to wear The Cleansing Light around your neck, yet you do not know the the tenant of honesty? Are you or are you not a Sarenite?

Ameiko waves as Relisha departs, resting her head in her blanket for a moment before going back to shuffling cargo around.

Back with Relisha, Helvinius had made his way out of the wagon for the evening meal and rounds the corner as he catches the tale end of Relisha's statement. Towering before her and looking down at her childish-like stature, he turns to face her and asks in a rather serious tone "What elf, child?

The elf waves his hand, dismissing her comment. He doesn't care to apologize for being rude, he just continues on where he left off. "ઓહ, આના જેવું તુચ્છ કંઈ નથી. ડોનફ્લાવરે મને ઘણી વધુ શોધ કરી છે."

Holy Vindicator Helvinius looks down at Ameiko, the tall elf towering over her. With air of disdain he strides towards her and scoffs "I said I would be here and I am here. Do you doubt my word Ms. Kajitsu? We have matters of business to discuss, let us not dally. Please take us somewhere private where we can speak in confidence."
