Hoddy covers the cave entrance as the others talk.

"Maybe we should move further from these caves before formulating our next move, yeah?"

Hoddy continues to fire at the oncoming orcs.

Hoddy continues to lay down fire at the approaching orcs. He targets the one battling Brunhild next.

Taking aim, Hoddy fires on one of the orcs in the frontline.

Hoddy just shakes his head at the antics of the dwarves and continues to watch over the party, making sure nothing sneaks up on them while they are searching and hammering the heck out of the armor.

Hoddy tries again, this time remembering the inspiring words Landau had given him earlier.

Hoddy takes aim at the male and fires

"I speak the tongue of the orc. Da ye want me ta call to it?"

The gnome moves to the front of the group and looks into the room.

Hoddy continues to keep a watch on the group and slowly enters the room and takes a position clear of the others so his aim will not become fouled.

"Pleasure M'am. Now let's get this door open, shall we!"

The gnome moves forward and opens the portal.

Hoddy looks over the newcomers with a gimlet eye. Just appearing at a time when needed struck him as perhaps too convenient, but strangers things have happened in his long life.

"Hoddy Fonkin, hunter, tracker and adventurer. Please to have your acquaintance."

Hoddy looks over the weapons, but not seeing anything he likes moves off to take up a position guarding the party's rear.

"Must have stolen those weapons...nothing orc's could make that's fer sure."

Hoddy keeps scanning their back trail for signs of movement, but so far has not detected anything. He nods vigorously as he hears Rurik plea.

"Sooner the better...it is too quiet in here!"

Hoddy helps himself to a number of the bolts to bring his supply back to full. He also takes a second bundle, just in case the fighting gets especially heavy.

Hoddy takes aim at any enemy still standing, putting a bolt into the creature's chest.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Sneaking in and off to one side, Hoddy fires at the male orc and swiftly reloads.

Hoddy feels like he might throw up a little in his mouth at the revelation that the Orc's beyond this door were mating!

"Blrrp!! Oops, sorry...just the thought...ewwww. Ok, I am good now..errppp..of gods I have to stop thinking about it...."

The gnome finally gets himself under control and readies his crossbow.

Hoddy keeps a watch as the others examine the room. He moves so he can look down each of the corridors.

As the last enemy falls, Hoddy quickly checks their backtrail to make sure none of the creatures are following them.

Hoddy again takes aim and fires on the retreating orcs.

Hoddy takes aim with his crossbow and fires at the orcs before him.

Hoddy keeps to the rear of the pack, splitting his time watching their backtrail and seeing where they are going.

Hoddy keeps back from the group and watches behind them to ensure nothing is sneaking up on them.

Hoddy moves quietly at the rear of the party, his darksight searching the path behind them for any movement.

Hoddy takes a look around the cave entrance to see if anything has been going in or out...other than themselves.

Hoddy drinks initially with the others, then goes off on his own. He spends some time cleaning and fixing his gear to be ready for the morrow, as well as spending some time in the keep's chapel praying for Teasag. He drops all that he has gathered so far from the caves in the donation box before leaving and heading to bed.

Hoddy keeps his crossbow trained on the empty tunnel as the others file out back into the sunlight.

"Should we return to the keep for the time, or try to rest here and go back in?

Hoddy reloads and fires on the orc that just downed Baern.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Hoddy moves up onto the table to get a better vantage to shoot at the many orcs in the room.

Hoddy. seeing the threating orc drop, moves forward and fires on the remaining foe.

With the creature right in his face, Hoddy reaches back and grabs his handaxe. He swings it at the orc before him.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Well it is 1 better than his last attack!!! Face in palm!

Taking a slight step forward, Hoddy sees the orcs coming out of the side passage and fires at one of the lead creatures (number 3)

Well...damn!! That was about the worst I could do...only can go up from here...I hope!!

Seeing Hess and Baern converse, Hoddy looks over to where the latter was indicating to see if he can hear/see anything out of the norm.

Hoddy keeps to the shadows at the edge of the tunnel, his keen senses honed by years of tracking and killing goblinoids and orcs. He look around, trying to discover anything that might give him a clue as to what to expect from their enemy.

Hoddy cringings as Baern tramps into the cave once again. He follows in the wake of the priest with his crossbow at the ready.

Hoddy greets the newcomer with a nod and smile, then goes back to watching the cave entrance.

Hoddy growls his agreement with Shianni.

"I agree with ya lass, but we may be needing a wee bit o' rest afore we head back in...or are ye all ready now to face the beasties??"

Jumping back over the barrier, Hoddy moves forward to protect Baern as he recovers Shianni's body. He smiles in relief when he hears the druid speak but suddenly stops as an orc appears at the edge of his vision. He takes aim and fires at the beast..ready to protect the dwarf and elf from the creatures.

Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

I moved my token out to help Baern and noticed I can see one of the orcs so I take the shot!! Not sure if I would have advantage on this or not, as he may not have expected us to come after him??

Hoddy moves back towards the barricade, but he fires his bolt before he clambers over the table.

He will aim at the wounded one near the back..can not see its number
