![]() Having played rolemaster, more skills gave less benefits as you could on only learn so much. Kind of a diminishing returns to concentrate in one area and it encouraged diversifying. First ten skill ranks was plus 5% each second ten skill ranks was plus 2% each third ten skill ranks was plus 1% each Any other +.5% each I agree the more you learn, the less you get better than before. ![]()

I agree people are confused how summoners should work! I think the synthesist summoner is broken if you follow all the rules and limitations correctly. It is MORE broken if you do don't correctly follow all the rules (like let bonuses stack incorrectly). Give an optimizer a shot to optimize a character, he will do it. Give an optimizer a shot to optimize a character and an eidolon together, he will do it twice. Let the optimizer stack physical stats of the optimized eidolon over the optimized stats of the original character and......well, the results should not be surprising. Remember, the more the physical stats of the eidolon exceed the physical stats of the original character, the better! I am only sad that the synthesist gets this powerful ability ONLY TWO LEVELS before the specialist wizard:

![]() Here is to honor and heroism (or hiroism). Hiro stalks part way to the savage casting enlarge person and stalling for time until he is about fifteen feet from the savage. He feels the effects of his magic and Durgens' begin to take hold and bellows, "Leave her alone, you have enough trying to fight me." As he swells to 8x the mass of his original form he makes eye contact with Durgen as he feels the powerful magic of inquisitor infuse his being. With grace and agility Hiro brings the savage in lethal range of his deadly weapon with a single step. He swings at the savage twice with his sword while casting a spell with his other hand. The first swing is slightly delayed due to the simultaneous casting and misses horribly, but the second one is actually speeded by the inquisitor's magic.
