Jen sprints toward the robot like a greyhound. Henry grabs a somewhat bloodied sports bag from one of the boat's former occupants and starts whirling it around his head. When Jen is almost there, he releases the bag, throwing with all his might at the robot, hoping to tangle it up for a moment or two.

Henry is aghast at the words of the "management." He shouldn't be surprised. Cogs in a machine, right? He shakes his head to clear such despairing thoughts. That's not who he is or what he's about. Awww HELL naw! We ain't going out like that! Henry stands up and squares his shoulders. He takes the new additions by the hand and pulls them up like Jen says. "Come on, now. We got to move." Mort looks pretty shaken, too. He taps the lawyer on the shoulder and smiles. "When we get out of this, and win our court case, YOU are gonna be the richest person I know. Let's move." His voice betrays no sound of fear, only confidence and hope. he's trying to instill some confidence in folks, get them up and moving. That sounds like a get people unstuck roll to me. 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 4) + 3 = 13

For a moment, Henry tries to recall the required medical training the park employees had to go through. Mostly it consists of asking every guest who might be injured "Do you require first aid?" at least 3 times. Stupid liability rules. Focusing on his friend, he does his best to stop the bleeding, though she looks pretty beat up.

"Mort, look out!" Although he didn't necessarily intend it, something about Henry's demeanor, his plaintive cry, stirred something inside him. His whole being seemed to glow.

Someone was still alive, besides them, but it didn't look like they would be for too long. A few of the others were looking around for something to help. If only he could distract the robots... get them to move away.

Henry looked on dumbstruck as the young lady mentally outmaneuvered the robot. It's all he can do to keep from laughing as the thing turns and walks away, just at the absurdity of it all.

"Damn, no phone signal." Henry does his best to get people up and moving. The sooner they're out of this place, the better. Clearly, the animatronics have been infected by some kind of virus.

Henry stands up and shakes some of the water out of his hair. Breathing heavily, he murmurs softly, "Holy cow! I can't believe that worked." As much as he doesn't want to leave the fella he saved, the weird tinny voices grab his attention. He looks around and notices Helen trying to bar the door.

Henry moves as fast as he can to the shallow spot, hoping he can make some sort of difference. Although he isn't a super athletic man, he has had some tumbling experience, mostly from working and playing with other entertainers in the park. He hopes now that training will be enough to help prevent disaster. The world seems to slow down for a moment as he sees the two girls leap from the car. He times his leap to grab the lawyer from the seat as the car plunges past. as I understand/ envision this, the girls jumping free will keep them from dying? If not, he would try to grab them instead of Mort.

As the car begins to move away, Henry comes out of his shocked state. "Stay in the car!" he orders the other two as he slides out under the bar and hops out of the car. "Helen, over here!" he calls out.

Seeing a guest in some manner of distress, Henry walks over to the fellow. "Pardon me, sir. Are you feeling okay? I noticed you look a little out of it. Hey, you know what always helps me? Some sweet tunes." He turns to the other "janitors" and says, "Hit it boys!"

Like most of the first shift staff, Henry arrived early, coffee in hand. He high-fived a number of other entertainers as he got into costume. This was one of the best gigs he'd ever had. He got paid to play AND got exercise. Of course, he was still getting used to the California weather. Heat without humidity was just so different from Memphis. A fella could get over-heated without even noticing it.
