Moreover, several of those spells have a range of Touch or Personal. How does the caster help his companions blocked inside with those?
Others are extremely specific, and unlikely to be memorized (e.g. diminish plants; never seen the druid prepare that unless he knew in advance he was going against something "druidy").
The only one that I can see used in most situations to get rid of the WoD is dispel magic, as I said in my OP by the way. So one really needs to rely heavily on the availability of dispel magic.

To be fair, Wall of Thorns is a "druidy" spell.

I just wanted to add this:

From the Polymorph description.

Except the ring specifically states that the two hours is enough for spells. It is quite explicit in this.

Yep. That's why I'm wondering if it applies the same to all daily abilities that refresh after rest, or if it's specifically for spellcasters.

So, I'm running a Pathfinder game with 6 characters. Of those 6, 4 of them are wearing rings of Sustenance. Two of those are casters. My question is, how does the Ring of Sustenance interact with daily-refreshing powers? It says that 2 hours of sleep are equivalent to 8 hours, even for spellcasting.

Now, for Rage, it states "The total number of rounds of rage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive." Does that mean the Barbarian still requires 8 hours of twiddling his thumbs? It says something similar for the Monk's Ki Pool: "The ki pool is replenished each morning after 8 hours of rest or meditation; these hours do not need to be consecutive."
